Eric has a 'Sore Spot'!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, we watched the weather forecast and it said there would be rain, wind, possibly snow, howling gales and more rain.

Down here in the 'Soft South' all we got was a bit more wind! Mind you, over the next day or two it will be a struggle to get the ferrets walking if it's too rainy!

The same goes for us woofers as well.

This morning it was almost all blue sky everywhere!

All this before the sun gets up!
Miss May and Eric had a good run on the beach and May even found a super sniff to roll in!

...and just another spot further down my spine!
After we got back home Eric was packed up in the carry cage, complete with a newly washed blanket and off he went to the vets.

When he got there Old Two Legs got presented with a bill which listed Vasectomy AND Castration!

I mean, how can you castrate and vasectomise in one hit!

I mean, it's like having your claws clipped and then chopping your paw off!

Stupid!

OTL then had a discussion with the lady who just didn't see the mistake and it took the vet to also point out the mistake!

Down on the beach it was all grey clouds and wind, so it  looks like the rain may be here overnight.

The build up to a wet night!

Eric was ready to be picked up mid afternoon and when OTL called into the vets, there was Eric in the arms of a nurse getting a cuddle!

He was tired and also sore, or as Eric put it, 'There's something missing but it's still sore!'

It was decided to leave him on his own for the night and OTL got the 'Holiday Cage' in from the shed, fixed it up with food and water plus a big soft bed for Eric to cuddle up on!

In his normal cage he has to negotiate a hole in the floor plus four levels to get down to the toilet area, so to be kind the holiday cage has just a drop down from the pillow into the toilet area and if he wants, he can both eat and drink from his bed!

Luxury or wot!

We are going to keep watch over him tonight and claws crossed, he will be back to normal tomorrow morning.

Mind you, he may be walking with bowed back legs for a few days until it all heals up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
