Swimming and Lost Ferrets and Photo's!

Hi Woofers!

It's Friday and we're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a glorious day it has been! Loads of sunshine, warm weather and loads of fun on the beach again!

It started off this morning with Miss Wendy throwing a strop and getting all upset about having her photo taken. It seems that Old Two Legs hasn't got a 'Keeper' photograph of Wendy and he wanted to get her picture, side on with a very shallow depth of field. So, when OTL stuck his camera into her face she didn't like it and just turned away and wouldn't look into the lens!

Don't Care, Don't want my picture taken, I haven't brushed my whiskers this morning!
We all said she looked great but it was no good, she wouldn't smile for the camera!

Freddy offered to have his picture taken but only if OTL would carry him back to the car, inside the ferret bag!

No way!

The idea of the morning walk is to get some exercise and sitting in a bag was not exercise!

Never mind Freddy, at least you tried!

Lunchtime May and Eric were out and we all had a good run around on the beach, which is good news as far as I'm concerned 'cos I could see the sea rushing back to shore and with a bit of luck I might even get a swim!

Miss May didn't show off about having her photo taken but she was more interested in running along the Sea Wall, so every time OTL pointed the lens in her direction, off she went at sixty miles an hour!

OK, make it good 'cos this is the only one I'm posing for!
Holly Chops was sitting on the Sea Wall puffing and blowing about the time it was taking getting a picture of an 'over sized rat'!

What she didn't know was that May had abandoned the photo shoot and was more interested in sampling bit of Woofer Leg!

Now then, I fancy a bit off the flank!
It was only the fact that OTL had hold of the ferret lead that stopped Miss May getting a nibble of a Holly Dog!

Poor Eric was laughing so much he fell over backwards and had great trouble getting back on his paws again!

I didn't mind the delay 'cos I could see the tide heading for the shore!

We arrived at the bench on the hill and OTL called me over to him, me, like a plonker, thought he wanted to check the harness or maybe give me a stroke and tell me wot a good girl I was.

No such luck, the crafty OTL clipped my lead on and walked me past the spot where I could dash off down to the beach and into the water for a good splosh about!

There are times when it just don't go right!

When we all got to the car OTL loaded Holly and I into the back of the car and popped the ferrets in as well. He unclipped their leads and set about pouring some fresh water into the drinking bowl. It was at that point Eric decided to climb over the top of May to have a last sniff out the back of the car and as he did he fell out, onto the ground!

Eric was all paws and tail and in a bit of a panic as he landed on his back and was just about to run off under the car when OTL dived down and picked Eric up in his hand, just in time!

There were too many cars and Two Legs in the car park for Eric to safely have a dash about!

Back he went into the travelling cage and off for home!

After all that excitement, we all had a snooze while OTL finished off his work on the computer!

Saturday tomorrow! No work, just fun and games!

Bye bye for now!

Sunshine, Sea Side and me being Sneaky!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It has been a super sunny day today, we have all enjoyed ourselves down on the beach. Now, when we were first introduced to Freddy, he just couldn't get into this walking lark and would fall over and roll onto his side and stick his paws in the air and wait for Old Two Legs to pick him up!

Since then he has got better and has walked all the way back from the beach right up to the car park.

However, there are times when he falls back into his bad habits!

Today was one of them!

As soon as his paws hit the beach, over he went!

I'm going to do more of this!
Oscar came waddling by and asked if he could join Freddy on the beach but as he hadn't had his breakfast yet he decided to get back home!

That looks just the thing for a day like this!
Come lunchtime, OTL had got back from the dentist with his new teeth! He has to back again 'cos the  dentist found there was one tooth with a loose filling, more expense!

On the beach Holly and I had fun playing 'Dig & Chase' 'cos the tide hadn't come in yet and I couldn't have a swim yet!

Come on tide, hurry up!
While Holly and I were having fun Miss May and Eric were busy digging holes in the sand and of course, I just couldn't resist stopping to help them out with a quick dig!

Hey! This sniffs good!
Now, as were heading back to the car, the tide was rushing in across the mud and because the ferrets were a bit slow, by the time we got to the path where we turn left into the car park and wave good bye to the sea.

I was having a sniff in the grass and noticed that the tide was almost in and I was tempted, very tempted, in fact, I did some quick calculations and reckon I could get down onto the beach and in for a paddle before OTL could get to me!

So, I stood there and as OTL turned to call me, I gave him a big woofer grin and ran off down to the beach and straight into the water!

OTL headed back to the car mumbling all sorts of curses but I didn't care, I just had to have a swim!

I didn't hang about too long and by the time he had got Holly and the ferrets packed into the car I had caught up with them!

A quick rub down with one of our Doggy Towels and we were ready to get off home!

Tonight we are going to watch the 'Fantastic Creature' DVD, so that could mean a bottle of single malt, a pack of shortbread and a pack or two of nibbles!

We know how to have fun!

See you all tomorrow!

We find Sheerness!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

We made a discovery this morning......................Sheerness!

Yep! There it was, just where we left it last week, it hadn't moved an inch!

We can Seeeee Yooooo!
We did a wave to everyone over the other side of the River Medway but there was no one to wave back!

Maybe they were looking to see if everything had come back after hiding for such a long time!

Freddy and Wendy were out first thing but were not impressed with the return of Sheerness, Wendy said she had been getting used to the grey wall across the river!

Old Two Legs had a busy day today 'cos he had to find a new light for the shower unit in the caravan. He went off to the local caravan place but there was no lights available and that went with the all the caravan shops he stopped at!

He was out so long that The Missus had to take us out for our midday walk, without the ferrets! We went for a walk in the field behind the house and then TM found she couldn't go home 'cos she had left her door key at home!

What a Wally!

It was a good job OTL wasn't too long before he got home and we got another walk 'cos the ferrets were showing off 'cos they hadn't been out for their walk!

Down on the beach May and Eric had fun digging and chasing each other along the beach.

A Quick Kiss for Eric!
When we got back home OTL was onto the computer and spent a couple of hours looking for a caravan light. He managed to find one he thinks will do the job so early next week it should arrive and we look forward to seeing him fit it back into the shower!

OTL has had delivered the Harry Potter spin off film about Fantastic Creatures so he plans to watch that soon. Now we all thought that the ferrets and us woofers were the only Fantastic Creatures in OTL's life!

We will be keeping our eyes on him!

See you all tomorrow!

Miss May get's some Welly and I get wet!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's getting better, the weather I mean, it's still very misty out to sea but the wind has dropped right away.

Trubble is, the sea mist is still with us! You know, as we drove towards the car park, we passed the church and it was all sunshine and blue skies but fifty feet further on it was all misty and we couldn't even see the sea!

We can't see the sea!
Wot we did hear was the fog horn blasting away from over the other side of the River Medway at Sheerness!

Mournful or wot!

Still, it didn't stop us from doing a 'Sniff and Whizz' all along the beach and up the hill!

Back home we spent some time in the garden looking for the Flogs but they must have gone away 'cos there wasn't even a splash! The sun was shining and the 'Water Jar' feature on the side of the pond was pouring loads of water back into the pond and making a super little tinkling sound!

Lunchtime we reckoned it was going to be great on the beach. The tide should be in and the sun should be out!

Well one out of two 'aint bad!

The mist was still there and the fog horns were still singing!

Sheerness is still gone!
As we headed down to the beach Old Two Legs called me back and took off my harness.

That was a good sign 'cos he only does that when he doesn't me going in the water!

That was it, I flew down the hill, jumped off the Sea Wall and down the beach and straight into the water!

First swim of the year!
I was having a great time in and out of the water until some how I managed to loose the stick OTL was trowing for me!

May and Eric we charging up and down the beach digging trenches and holes. Right up to when May found a Green Welly!

Well, being a ferret means you are very inquisitive and into every mischief you can lay your paws on!

May went right down to the end of the welly and was talking about hiding stuff down there!

This is a good hiding place for biscuits!
It was all good fun, right up to the point when OTL said that the water was getting rather close to the welly and before long it may even float off into the North Sea!

Water is getting too close!

That was it, we all headed off up the grass hill and back to the car which was still covered in mist!

Again, as we got to the church the mist disappeared and the sun was beating down!

Back home it was snoozy time in OTL's office while he was working.

We had some fun 'cos OTL decided that as there was no orders to get out, he would go into the caravan and try to repair the light in the shower. While he was working in the shower we sat on the seats looking out the window at the Two Legs walking past. It was fun when Holly and I did out 'Woof Off' woof and made them jump especially as they didn't know from where the noise was coming from!

That sorted them out!

In the end OTL decided that the light was 'Beyond Repair' so tomorrow we are off to the caravan place to see what they have a new one in stock, more expense!

We will go with him just to help if he starts to snivel!

See you tomorrow!

Auntie Chris Visits and Prince gets home!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a super day it has been. First of all the sun has been shining but there was still a bit of wind coming in off the North Sea which managed to knock a couple of degrees off the temperature scale and the sea mist hung around until the mid afternoon.but that didn't worry us too much!

Come to think on it, we haven't seen Sheerness for a good few days now!

No, it's not a ship!
As we headed back to the car we came across a monster lurking in the grass! Holly and I gave it a really good woofing and Holly even said she would go and bite it's tail if it carried on looking at us!

OK, who is first to sort it out?
Old Two Legs reckons it's a balloon but we were not sure, so we stayed away! That was until the wind blew it down the hill and onto the beach where it was attacked by the incoming tide and carried away to torment Southend on Sea!

Freddy and Wendy Enjoyed their run and even Freddy managed to jog up to the top of the hill before collapsing and demanding a carry to the start of the 'Ferret Track'!

We met up with Poppy and Boo and Bryn who said that yesterday morning at six young Prince was found on his front door step, all wet and damp and covered in bracken and grass and mud and other stuff you get when you have been out hunting Nargles!

Still, it was clever of him to find his own way home, and at night!

We reckon he was in deep poo and could be kept on his lead for the next month or so!

The price us woofers pay for having a fun time!

When we got home we got told that Auntie Chris was visiting The Missus for a gas, as they do!

At lunchtime we headed off to the beach again but with May and Eric this time, and, Auntie Chris who wanted to visit the 'Famous Beach'!

There were a few new sniffs on the beach and even TM was interested!

I wonder wot that sniffs like?
Eric and May were jogging all the way back to the car 'cos there was still a chill in the air and the sun hadn't yet managed to peek through the mist yet.

While we were sniffing both May and Eric enjoyed a digging contest on the beach! Miss May won 'cos she did a 'Nose Dive' just like Holly Chops does!

We got banned from the office this afternoon 'cos Eric was still in Hyper Mode and had to be let out of the cage to rampage around the office. Miss May joined him and managed to fall into the rubbish bin in the office. Luckily it was just full of paper and plastic packaging, so she didn't hurt herself!

Holly and I have spent most of the afternoon catching up on our 'Snooze Time' so we will be ready for the evenings fun of mugging OTL!

See you tomorrow!

Happy Birfday to The Missus!

Yo Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

OK, all together, two, nine!

Happy Birfday to Yooo
Happy Birfday to Yooooooooo
Happy Birfday dear TM
Happy Birfday to Yoooooooooooooooooo!

We sung that to her just before it got light this morning and both Holly and I gave her ear a good Birfday lick!

So, after we got her out of bed she headed off to the monthly 'Crop' in the village hall where she spent all day gassing and sloshing glue and glitter around all over the place!

On our walks today we didn't see any sign of Prince, the runaway pup, nor did we see anyone looking for him so we reckon he was found yesterday but we won't be happy until we see him again or his Two Legs!

It was sunny today but that wind is still howling in off the sea.

Not a day for swimming!
The ferrets enjoyed the walk along the beach and both Holly and I discovered some new sniffs on a load of old rope that had been washed up!

Remember yesterday? We thought that Archie Babe was getting a new car but now we see he has a Colt! I mean, a colt is a young horse wiv four legs, just like we got, except that instead of paws they have 'hoofs' which sounds like the signal we give to Old Two Legs when we want to get back on the bed while it's still dark!

Holly's good at 'Hoofing' 'cos I sort of do a little cry, but the effect is still the same!

So, is it a car or a horse and if it's a horse, will it share a bed with you or does it sleep on the bed with your TL?

Tonight OTL is off to the Chinese to get the take a way and we will be having loads of Plawn Clackers and Plawns and there is a bottle of Bubbly Bollinger in the fridge to help TM sleep tonight!

I suppose she will be up late tomorrow and saying she has a 'Hang Over'!

See you all tomorrow!

Saturday, 25 March 2017

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday is for clearing the office up, well, cage cleaning and all that stuff!

We let Old Two Legs get on with all that stuff 'cos he knows just how it should be done and being that he has a bad sense of smell, the ferret poo doesn't have the effect it has on us woofer noses!

Of course, the ferrets have a grand old time rampaging around the house, play fighting and chasing The Missus!

Then it's back to the cage for a snooze before going out for a walk along the beach!

Wendy and Freddy were first out this morning and the wind was doing it's howling in off the North Sea.

Not very nice, not very warm either!

Lunchtime it was the turn of May and Eric and the weather was still the same, cold and windy!

OTL went to wake them up to put their harnesses on and Eric refused to wake up!

A ferret's got to have eighteen hours sleep every day!
Of course Miss May is always up for a run, even if Eric wanted to stay in bed!

Someone say Walkies?
Mind you, they both woke up when OTL got them out of the travelling cage and down on the beach!

While we were down there we heard that little Prince, that Poodle Doodle Dog had run off. So OTL put us in the car and went off to help look for him. It seems the whole village was out looking and after an hour we had to head for home. Little Prince was still missing but with the number of two legs searching we hope he won't be lost for long!

Now, we like the sound of Archie Babes new car, is it a sporty 'Soft Top' so the wind can blow your whiskers about in the summer breeze or maybe it is a big posh saloon car with soft seats and a place to put your chew as you are being chauffeured along on your way to the shops?

Tomorrow is TM's birthday, now, we have been forbidden from saying just how old she is but we are planning to sing 'Happy Birthday' first thing tomorrow and OTL has put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and we are going to have a Chinese Takeaway with loads of Plawns and Plawn Clackers, and other super stuff!

See you all tomorrow!

Roll on Summer, I want a swim!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It has been another cold and windy day today, horrid weather, horrid cold!

It was Miss May and Eric's turn to go out first this morning and they said they would have rather stayed at home tucked up in their warm cage!

Old Two Legs insists that we all get some exercise so as soon as their paws hit the ground they were heading back to the car!
Come on Eric, shift yer tail!
The wind was blowing the sea and making 'White Horses' as OTL calls them. If it had been a lot warmer I would have gone for a dip but today, no way!

Not exactly ideal for swimming!
OTL has been plonking away on the computer 'cos the end of the month is coming and there is something called 'The VAT Quarter' arriving, which always makes him grumpy!

Lunchtime it was Wendy and Freddy who came out with us and it was still blowing in off the sea.

Miss Wendy wasn't in a good mood 'cos OTL had to wake her up to get her out of the cage and she was having a super dream!

It didn't help when she kept stopping if a big cold breeze came roaring along the 'Grass Path' and poor Freddy just doesn't stop very well!

So Freddy ends up running into the back of May and she is not best pleased with his cold wet nose under her tail!

Do that again and you're a 'Dead Ferret'!
Back home it was 'Tidy Up Time' in the office and OTL was stacking all the paper into neat piles, just ready for the ferrets to have a game with tomorrow morning!

We're off to watch the recording of the F1 Racing Practise Session on Australia.

See you all tomorrow!

The North Wind Doth Blow.........

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It was terribly windy this morning, it came roaring off the North Sea and while the rain stayed away, the wind brought the cold!

It was so cold that Old Two Legs decided that Wendy and Freddy should stay in bed while Miss May and Eric should do the early morning walk.

Just feel the Wind Chill!
To start off with young Eric decided he wanted to walk down to the beach and wriggled and wriggled until OTL put him down. Then he rushed off to the grass and had a wee! Then it was back to OTL's arms where it was warm and cuddly!

We didn't go down to the beach 'cos of the wind but we headed back up the grass path and back to the car.

Well, Eric and May enjoyed the early morning run but decided that they would rather have had the midday run but as they were up and bouncing off the cage bars and chasing OTL around the office, they paid the price!

Midday the sun came out and although OTL had to wake them, Fred and Wendy were up for a run.

We took the grass path again and didn't bother with the beach, which, for Mr Freddy was good 'cos that means he can enjoy some new sniffs!

I like these sniffs,, and the slugs!
Miss Wendy said that he was 'Lowering the tone' and she refused to stick her nose in the vegetation 'cos she said it was full of Dog Wee!

Personally, I don't know what's wrong with that!

There is just no taking him anywhere and, I'm certainly not sticking my nose in there!
The wind was still howling in off the sea and it was almost as cold as this morning!

We didn't hang about too long and soon we were back to the warm of the car!

An afternoon of snoozing under OTL's desk and a woof at the postman to follow, wot a way to spend the afternoon!

Life don't get much better!

See you tomorrow and don't forget, it's Friday tomorrow!

It's all Go!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

You know these computer thingy things take a lot of looking after! Yesterday we couldn't use the laptop 'cos Old Two Legs was doing something called 'DeFraging' and it took almost all night to do it!

We have inspected it this morning but it doesn't seem any faster than yesterday!

This morning it was cold and windy down here on the North Kent Coast. It certainly got under your ears and made them chilly blocks of hair!

Wendy and Freddy came out with us but they spent most of the trip trying to get into the ferret bag!

In fact it was so cold that OTL didn't even get the camera out this morning or at lunchtime!

We spotted Max and Oscar in the distance but didn't get the chance of a chat 'cos we were all heading back home as fast as we could!

TM is still trying to wear the washing machine out and OTL is staying out of the way in his office plonking away on the computer.

Come lunchtime the rain started so we didn't hang about for too long. The tide wasn't in so I wasn't tempted to go in for a swim!

It also meant that OTL didn't get the camera out of the car, he left it under his hat on the car seat!

So, just for today, here in a picture of the Fairy Falls down the bottom of a big hill where at the top they call it Bealach na Ba, or Pass of the Cattle.

This is in Wester Ross in the West Highlands of Scotland!

Pretty but the midges were terrible!
OTL was almost eaten alive by the midges!

The Missus has been charging around today, tidying up all the mess we left under the sofa!

We keep on finding our biscuits that the ferrets have hidden and of course we just got to have a nibble!

Looks like the weather is turning colder over the next few days so we might do what the ferrets are doing............snoozing in a warm bed!

See you tomorrow!

She is Back!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

Yesterday and today have a bit of a 'Mix Up Day'! Yesterday Old Two Legs was up an hour earlier than normal so he could get the ferrets all cleaned out, then Holly and I got a walk down on the beach, all before eight thirty when he left to pick up The Missus and Shirley from the airport.

We of course couldn't go along with him 'cos they don't allow woofers in airports, unless they are in 'Travelling Cages'!

So, we stayed at home and stood guard at the bedroom window waiting for TM to arrive!

Waiting for TM & OTL!
The ferrets were a bit put out, not getting their run along the beach but OTL promised them a walk when he got back!

After a while Auntie Sheila came over and let us out into the garden for a wee, then it was back up to the bedroom window to resume guard duties!

Early afternoon they all arrived back and Holly and I went just a little potty!

In fact we went right potty!

There was a sniff of Texas Desert about the suit case and on her sneakers but it was good to have her back!

OTL got a bottle of Single Malt as well!

Funny thing was, as soon as she sat down, she fell asleep! OTL says it is something called 'Jet Lag' and he did try to explain it but to be honest, we got bored and fell asleep as well!

Mind you, we did have Plawns and Rice and Plawn Clackers!

Off we all went to bed and half way through the night TM got up and was unpacking and doing stuff downstairs with the lights on, which woke us all up, including OTL!

Seems we are getting back to normal again!

Today has been all about trying to wear the washing machine out! Loads of stuff going in and out and then trying to get it all dried before the rain comes!

I still reckon it's too early, I've got 'Jet Lag'!
Freddy and Wendy said they would have rather stayed in bed pretending they had jet lag, just so they could get a couple more hours sleep!

May and Eric were a little more adventurous and set about digging the beach up to make sandcastles!

'ere! It's gone all dark again!
 As Eric said.................
Gawd! There's one born every minute!
There was a load of cloud up in the sky and Holly said she can sniff rain on the wind! We decided that we wouldn't hang around too long 'cos there is one thing we don't like doing..............getting wet!

Now, where is a Yellow Filter when you want one!
Holly and I agreed that a quick trot back to the car would be a very good idea as well!

OK, cars that way!
Now, normally we wouldn't worry too much about the clouds but did you know, this is the first day of Spring!

OTL reckons he saw a butterfly but then decided it was maybe too early for butterflies and maybe it was a day time moth!

Trouble was, this Butter-Moth did a couple of wing flaps and dived into a bush, so we didn't see it again. Maybe we will see it tomorrow, if there is no rain!

OTL has been doing 'Paperwork' today, so we have been pretending we have 'Jet Lag' and spent the afternoon snoozing!

See you tomorrow!

I think I have a Dust Allergy!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

I tell you wot, this tidying up thing is a right pain in the tail! We have been helping Old Two Legs get rid of all the crumbs and bits of grass and twigs and sand and garden stuff that hangs on our coats after a good rampage around the garden chasing the birdies!

We have worn out the jet powered vacuum cleaner, twice! It got too hot and fainted twice!

The electric carpet sweeper is worn out, well the battery is and it takes such a long time to charge it back up again!

The ferrets haven't helped much. As soon as we find the stash they hid under the sofa they moved it to under the table! Just to be extra helpful. the second set of ferrets found the stash under the table and moved it to under the sofa!

Holly has been going around and finding the stash and eating it so the ferrets can't move it again. Mind you, it was a bit of a game finding the little extra stash in the crate full of Ping Pong Balls that Eric loves swimming in!

Down on the beach we were approached by six Mini Two Legs who wanted to stroke the ferrets and one asked if I remember his sister stroking the ferrets last weekend!

Seems like we are getting a name down here, even OTL is known as 'The Ferret Man'!

This afternoon we had a break and watched a little TV while OTL gave Holly and me a good brush all over! It was great 'cos at the end we got some Doggy Choc Buttons that have been hiding in a box for just ages! They have now almost all gone!

Auntie Sheila will be coming over to let us out into the garden tomorrow while OTL picks up The Missus and her mate from the airport. We have promised not to make too much of a mess before TM gets back!

So, all this vacuuming and dusting has made me sneeze and I had to go up on the bed for a snooze, just to get over it!

Well, that's my excuse anyway!

Just loved Archie Babes singing tale! Brilliant! That will teach them to wimp on about 'Jet Lag' when there are balls to chase and Flogs to Hunt!

Another thing, OTL says that there is no Menswold, it's always been a Womenswold and don't the men know it!

See you tomorrow!

Marley gets beaten up!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Not so warm today, still, it's not raining!

We have started to clear up here. The questions yesterday about the dishwasher, like wot has been loaded up with if Old Two Legs has been eating off plastic plates. Well, you have forgotten that he eats breakfast so that is a bowl full of rabbit food, then his mug for his tea and after that there is his glass for orange juice and of course the ferrets bowl for their Lactose Free Milk and then a small plate for his toast and jam. Then there is the mid morning cup of tea followed by lunch which uses a plate and a mug for his tea and there is the knives and forks he uses to shovel it all in his mouth! Then there is afternoon tea and cakes with some cucumber sandwiches and Salmon and Shrimp Paste Bread Fingers! Of course, that is all before his dinner!

He has all the stuff he uses for dinner including the knife and fork for digging through the plastic film covering his nosh and the plate for the cheese and biscuits we have after the apple pie and custard.

There is also the bowls we have kept full of nibbles for the evening, like shortbread and twiglets and cheesy biscuits and not to mention the crystal whisky glasses that we have almost run out of!

It's a hard life here you know and OTL is down to his last pair of socks before he has to open up the pack that contains his new ones!

Then there is the bed, we are not sure if we should vacuum the bed to get rid of the crumbs or just brush them over to the side of the bed where The Missus sleeps, mind you, the carrot ends are getting a bit whiffy so we might get the vacuum cleaner out!

Enough of the domestic engineering, it can wear a woofer out just thinking about it!

We were down on the beach having our normal sniff when we spotted young Marley, who just loves OTL, and coming from the other direction was little Prince, who also loves OTL! Holly and I hung back to see what would happen.

Prince jumped up and pushed Marley to the ground, going for the throat we thought but Prince had forgot that that Marley's backside was still in the air, so that didn't count and a 'Clean Fall'

So, he backed off until Marley got up again and did a flying jump at Marley's head.............

A Four Paw Jump!
Again Marley went down and we thought it was all over but as you can see, Marley still had his tail in the air!

Just stay there while I sort your backside out!
We could have watched the fun and games all day but the ferrets wanted to get home so off we went!

We had some work to do!

See you all tomorrow!

Spring time!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another sunny day in North Kent! The ferrets got switched around today, Freddy and Wendy stayed in bed while Eric and May came out for the morning run!

Eric had a great time digging trenches and looking for woofers!

Is that a Woofer?
Unfortunately, no woofers, just Holly and I, so, Eric chased Holly along the beach trying to nip her back legs!

That ferret will bite off too much one day!

Old Two Legs was playing with the camera and spotted a giant Two Legs, until he worked out it was his shadow!

Wot a Plonker!

Going on a diet soon!
Lunchtime it was great on the beach, I went in for a swim, with my harness on and got soaking wet!

Today Holly stayed out of the water, one wet paw is enough for her!

You swim if you want, I'll catch some rays!
You know it was up around 19 degrees C today, real Spring weather but there is some rough weather heading our way, just in time for The Missus as she heads home.

I know it will not last for long but we're making the most of it now!
We have been looking around and making lists of cleaning stuff we have to do before TM comes home, like sweep up all the crumbs from the sofa and find all the biscuits the ferrets have hidden under the furniture! Then there is the washing up, there must be at least ten dishwasher loads!

The dustbin men will be working for their money this week as we empty all the bins!

There are at least ten lists at the moment, and on top of that, we had six bags of Cat Litter delivered today, the big 30L bags. There was a special promotion on you see, buy two and get the third free!

We also know there are four big 10Kg bags of ferret food arriving as well! With all this there will not be any room left for the ferrets, never mind us!

See you all tomorrow!

OTL gets a Selfie done!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a super day it's been. Sunshine almost all day long and Old Two Legs managed to get most of his work done in between our walks along the Sea Wall!

Being so warm, the sand really dried out on the beach and of course, Holly Chops just had to do her famous 'Nose Dive' into the sand. Her face was covered with sand and so was her nose!

Both Freddy and Miss Wendy joined in the game and set about re arranging the sand, ferret fashion! Then once that was done the next was to pick up on the 'Ferret Track' and head back to the car for a cooling drink of water!

Come on Missy, shift yer tail!
OTL pointed out the bushes that yesterday had tight little buds but this morning there was bloom!

OK, so we always have flowers buy just look at our colours!
The Hawthorn had burst into bloom and most of the flowers were now open!

Now, this is what Spring is all about!
Lunchtime OTL gave up on trying to keep me out of the water and took my harness off. You know, even Holly got her paws wet and that is a first this year!

Come On! Throw a Woofin' Stick!
Miss May was showing off, she quickly piled up some sand and made a Sandcastle and finished it off by making a roof of stone!

I should have been called 'Bob The Builder'!
As we came off the beach a couple of Two Legs walked up, all amazed to see ferrets out for a walk.

OTL went into 'Story Mode' about how wonderful ferrets are, especially May and Eric who he was cuddling!

Can we take a picture? Of course you can, of the ferrets, not us!

Blooming ferrets are getting all the attention nowadays!

Then, seeing the TL had a decent camera, OTL thinks it may have been a Leica, he asked if he would take a picture of OTL and the ferrets!

So, here we are, OTL has his 'Selfie'!

Normally we never see OTL in the pictures 'cos he is always behind the camera but today, he gets to be famous!
OTL's Selfie!
It's a pity that Archie Babe doesn't live a little closer to us 'cos every time he has to have a Shampoo & Set, he could go splashing about in the water here and get real sniffy again, just like us!

See you all tomorrow!

More trees blossoming!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it's been another super day today. First of all we had an extra half an hour in bed this morning 'cos Old Two Legs didn't hear the alarm go off, mainly 'cos he didn't set it last night!2

Mind you, we didn't care 'cos that left us a nice warm beach to have a roll in!

Holly loves warm sand!
It didn't stop OTL from telling her to 'Grow up' which made her show off!

No, Won't, Warm Sand is Soooo Gooood!
it wasn't all blue sky but there was hardly a ripple on the sea and just for once, all the ships had gone!

I see no ships!
Lunchtime it was still the same and although we were late in getting down there 'cos we had to wait for a delivery.

I managed to get a quick dip in the water, before OTL spotted me and told me to 'Act My Age'!

As if!

Loads of Sniffs!
Eric and May were having a great time rolling in the Sea Kale and sniffing all the sniffs on the sea wall!
Come on, my turn to have a roll!

OTL was looking at the blossom that had suddenly appeared on the bushes, all those flowers just waiting to burst out!

OK lads, tomorrow we all go BANG!
First thing in the morning we have good fun with the flogs, I come
downstairs with OTL and throws open the curtain and there is an enormous
splashing as six flogs leap off the weed and head for the bottom of the
pond in a panic!

It is So Funny to see all these back legs and flogy bottoms jumping all over the place!

See you all tomorrow!

OTL has got to go to the dentist tomorrow, more money and pain!
