Hunting Diesel!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a fun day today, plan to go visit Auntie Zoe and the family this weekend and of course Old Two Legs wants to show off the new car. That being so, he needs to have enough fuel in the tank to get there and back.

Because of the very long queues at the petrol station, we haven't bothered to get any fuel 'cos by the weekend we reckon everyone will have filled up every container they have of fuel and we should be able to walk into the garage without waiting.

Well, that was the idea.

It didn't quite work out that way!

We drove to our normal garage but the queue was about a quarter of a mile long!

OTL drove away and went 'across country' to miss the queue and arrived at two more garages just before the town, no good stopping there, the signs read 'No Fuel'!

Next stop was the Tesco Garage and that was shut as well!

Next stop was in town at the 'Morrisons Shopping Experience' where there was a queue, maybe a couple of hundred yards, so, we joined the line of cars.

The couple of hundred yards wasn't quite right, as soon as we got off the road, we got wound all around the car parking area for another couple of hundred yards!

Finally, we arrived at the pumps and treated the car to a tank full of diesel!

Aunty Zoe, her we come!

By this time, it was well into lunchtime and we headed straight down to the sea side.

I was keeping an eye out on the weather; it had rained on our hunt for diesel earlier on so I didn't want to get wet while having a wee!

We were lucky, even though it was cloudy, it wasn't rainy!

Look! Dry Paws!

We didn't have the sea front to ourselves, first of all there was this Sheep Dog that I had seen before but not said hello to. We stood there looking at each other not knowing who was going to make the first move but, in the end, she got called away by her Two Legs and I was able to pass, mind you, I was down at the bottom of the sea wall!

Don't know if I should round you up or chase your tail!

Well, after that, we bumped into a couple of woofers we know but there was normally three but today only two. We exchanged sniffs and told each other about our losses. They had lost their sister about six months ago. I told them all about Holly and the tale was very similar from both sides.

It's sad when you loose your sister!

Back home OTL and I were having a cuddle on the sofa when The Missus told us there was 'Cooking Fat' in the garden.

Cooking Fat is that nasty cat that hides in the bushes trying to catch and kill the birds that come to our garden to feed.

OTL let me out the back door and I flew after him chasing him over the fence which he cleared in one jump!

I don't think I could get over the fence but I almost got him before he took off!

Next time, there is always next time!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
