Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
Well, today has been a very pleasant day here in North Kent.
The sun has been shining all day and it even woke Eric up first thing this morning 'cos he was up and waiting for us to go out for the morning walk!
We met up with a Two Legs who had six big black Labrador woofers who were very interested in nibbling Eric's tail!
Old Two Legs had Eric up on his shoulders so Eric was safe!
The best was the lunchtime walk, OTL had his camera with the Macro Lens attached and while he was chasing flowers and insects, we had a great time chasing sniffs and rolling around on the ground without OTL shouting at us and calling us ‘Smelly Woofers’, as if!
I'm sure we are supposed to know what this one is but I'm blowed if I remember!
Now this one is a sort of 'Blue Bottle' fly with iridescent colours on its Thorax and Abdomen!
We found another two Bluebell plants growing beside the path.
We still can't work out if they are English or Spanish Bluebells!
OTL says he knows these two 'cos they are 'Smelly Woofers'! I mean, us, Smelly? Never!
Once we got over the hill we found that Bozo Labrador chasing a ball about. OTL asked for it so he could throw it for her but she wouldn't give it to him at all!
It's my ball and I'm keeping it and you can't have it!
It's a shame that some woofers won't share!
Now we know this one is called a 'St Marks Fly' 'cos it starts to fly on St Marks Day!
The back legs on this fly are so long and hang down as it fly's around, some of them even try to land on OTL's bald head!
I got the Grumbly Tum which means I have to have extra walks across the old golf course.
Why is it that all the things that taste good, sniff good and are found in hidden piles in the grass, cause Holly and I to get the Grumbles!
It's hard enough telling OTL that we 'Really Need to go out'!
I forgot to tell you yesterday that OTL was grinding off the Acrylic cover to the big car headlights. Now, instead of looking all misty, they are bright and shiny now and should light up the road at night!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
