Auf der Suche nach einem U-Boot!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

What a change in the weather today, gone is the sunshine and warm breeze. The clouds are low and grey looking.

Altogether, not a nice day!

Old Two Legs got up a bit late, so that means the morning walk was late and he didn't have his morning row around the office!

It was after the Ferrets had been out for a rampage and their cages cleaned that OTL finally ran out of excuses and he was told to get on the rowing machine!

The ferrets thought it was a great joke and blew raspberries at him through the cage bars while Holly was roaring her tail off and kept jumping onto OTL's lap to give him a lick on his nose!

Soon it was lunchtime and we decided to go for a walk before lunch.

As we headed off towards Grain, OTL stopped at a small car park then walked us across the road and along the top of the Thames Wall!

There was a big pond thing full of water and we spotted five Canada Geese paddling around trying to keep out of the wind. We haven't seen any Canada Geese down at Grain for some time and only some Brant Geese wot looks like Canada Goose!

No, not Brant!
The tide was out and as we walked along the top of the wall, OTL told us about the German Submarine that was parked up along the bank somewhere. Well, we looked for it in the shallows but nothing.

Holly said she thought it was over near the cranes but we couldn't see anything.

Well, there's nothing over there!

Then we looked a bit further out into the River Medway but there was nothing to see. OTL reckons it is a bit further around the headland but as the wind was blowing a force Eight gale, we decided to leave that for another day!

Kein U-Boot!
Well, there’s is no submarine to see but we can come back another day to search.

In the mean time we can have a sniff and a taste of goose poo!

Look! A big drop of poo!
It was great to have somewhere different to have a run and there

It was great to have somewhere different to have a run and there were new sniffs to sniff!

OTL has promised that we can go back there again and if the wind drops, we will go further around to see if we can see the submarine!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
