Saturday and we have almost caught up!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Saturday is with us and Old Two Legs is getting close to being up to date with all his stuff!

He always says that a two week holiday takes three weeks to sort out when you get back!

At least the paperwork is all done and now it is just the 'engineering' to do!

We got down to the beach this morning in time to see the mucky stuff sort of floating on the water, what we need is a good storm to beat it all up and wash it away down stream!

All this mucky stuff stops me having a swim!
May and Eric had fun digging on the beach but even they said they wouldn't go in for a swim!

OTL has got a new dishwasher arriving on Sunday, so, this morning he disconnected the old one and put it outside on the drive so the delivery people can take it away!

He had to pay for that but it would be disposed of properly and also he has got them to take away the packing as well!

There is one small problem, the delivery times start at seven in the morning!

Never mind, we will be there to make sure everything is done properly or they will get a good woofing!

Lunchtime Freddy and Wendy came out with us. Wendy just loves a good run on the beach and digging holes and hunting for mouses as well!

Freddy, on the other paw, much prefers a carry down to the beach, a quick roll, then he gets OTL to pick him up and gets 'carries' all the way back to the football field where he gets down and has a run across the football field!

On the way back we spotted a snail half way up the bush with the red leaves. Holly asked the snail why he was so far up the bush and hanging onto the leaf?

'Well' says the snail, ' I've heard that we got the back end of the bad weather from the U.S.A. and I'm making sure I'm above the water and on something that floats if the water gets any higher'!

Holly pointed out that the snail was in fact so twenty metres above sea level and if the water should get up to him, half of the South East will be floating away on the tide!

.....I don't care, I'm staying warm and dry!
We left him to it and headed home!

Holly was singing a song........I am Snailing, I am Snailing, Home again, across the sea!

She can be a right wag at times!

We are off now to investigate what is for dinner and whether or not we can get a nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
