Here is Hop-Along-Freddy

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

You know, no matter how hard I try, waking OTL in the morning is getting harder the older he gets.

I've started waking up in the morning, giving him a taste of 'Wet Nose' in his ear and if he doesn't respond I go down stairs with The Missus and finish off my morning snooze and wait until I hear movement upstairs!

Of course, by the time he gets up and on the road the sun has got high enough to produce a little bit of sunrise but nothing exciting!

I think I will get OTL to start doing some fiddly diddly with the camera and see if we can get the colours to go 'Pop'!

Mind you, hi playing with the camer gives me time to enjoy the sniffs and some times a quick roll while OTL is looking the other way!

I reckon its rabbit being chased by a fox!

We met up with a couple of Bichon Frisé types who said they knew Devo and often met up with him!

I'm going to have a chat with Devo the next time we meet!

Back home we spotted the Froggy at the side of the pond and watched him dive down to the bottom to escape us looking at him!

We are looking forward to seeing insect things in the pond, like water boatmen and dragonfly larvae and stuff like that. With a bit of luck, we should get some good photography!

After lunch OTL went out to the pond to clear some leaves out of the pond and at the same time spread some stones at the water’s edge!

As soon as OTL was down on his knees and shovelling rocks onto the pond edges who should pop his head up out of the water?............Hop-Along-Freddy!

No matter where OTL was shovelling rocks, there was Hop-Along-Freddy with his eyes poking out of the water watching OTL!

One thing we have noticed is his skin has shown a marked improvement into colour, more frog like!

So, the bag of rocks has now been spread over the pond liner and the pond is looking better but we don't think it will get better until next year.

The Zebra Snails are all accounted for but the Wandering Snails have seemed to have disappeared into the depths of the pond. Maybe they are hiding until next year!

So, this is what it looks like today, I suppose we will give it a brush up to remove the leaves once autumn sets in but it is getting on well.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
