Saturday is Kebab Day!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another fun day here in North Kent. This morning Miss May decided to stay in bed rather than come out for a walk but we didn't mind 'cos she gets more fun nowadays ferreting around the house than ferreting in the wet grass!

As we are getting further into Summer and towards Autumn the sun is slowly taking more time to get out of bed and it won't be long before Old Two Legs bores the tail off of us with his 'Sunrise' pictures!

How did he sneak that one past us?
Eric said that the sunrise was OK but it tends to get in your eyes and you can't see anything coming in that direction!

It sure does get in your eyes!
We agreed with him especially when out of the sun appeared a TL Jogger and a BBW (Big Bozo Woofer) and OTL took us on another path rather than bump into them both!

If I hide behind here and sort of squint........it doesn't make the slightest of difference!
Today The Missus decided to take the little car and head off to a craft shop that was having an open day, just to see what was on offer!

Well, that was OK except that there was a warning light came up on the dashboard which made her pull in on the motorway services and get on the phone to OTL.

Now, OTL had a new gizmo fitted to the little car that sort of monitors your driving and tells you if you are a good driver, you know, no hard acceleration or braking or skidding around corners. All the stuff TM does when she is let out on her own!

It also tells you if the car has a fault that is logged on the computer system, clever little thing it is!

Well, it turns out that it was a tyre pressure warning light and OTL reckons it was the motorway speed that warmed the tyres a little.

Now, another thing this gizmo has is a button marked 'Find My Car' in case you park it and can't remember where it was parked, as if!

Mind you, it came in useful 'cos there is TM, miles away, driving home and OTL presses the button and up comes a map showing where the car is!

It's brilliant 'cos he told us to go to the window 'cos TM was just coming into the village!

OTL just loves his gizmo's!

Lunchtime Miss Wendy and Monty came out for a walk but didn't start until we had got to the beach. They were most interested in a sailing craft that was a little close to the beach. Holly had to explain all about tides and water and how much was under the keel.

I don't think they fully understood but they stood for a little while to see if the water under the keel got taken away as the tide was going out but in the end got fed up with waiting, so they headed for the grass!

Wendy, do you know what a 'Keel' is?
Miss Wendy just loves the grass and Monty loves digging in the grass as well, he says it keeps his claws nice and short!

Miss Wendy ferrets around in the grass but says that her claws are short enough thank you, OTL trims them for her to save having to dig holes everywhere!

I just love a good ferret in the grass!
Monty is quite good at running and manages to keep up with me when I'm on 'Sniff Patrol' but today I spotted a big Bulldog Woofers ahead of us and both Holly and I did the 'Warning Woof' and the TL marched the Bulldog down the other path away from us!

Result!

OK, get back if this 'Woof' doesn't work!
Tonight Holly and I have been promised a nibble of OTL's Kofti Kebab, well to be honest, we told him we are due a nibble and his life will be made hell if we don't get a nibble!

Puppy Power!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
