Well, it's been a damp old day today, splashes of rain on and off all day.
The pond is almost full to the top and the wind has been blowing the leaves off the tree and into the pond.
We were out early again this morning and the sky was still dark as we headed off to the sea front.
In fact, it was so dark that OTL even used the flash on the camera just to show off my tail!
There is nothing like a quick flash in the morning!
I have been out with OTL during the time between the showers looking for Hop-Along but all we have found are diving beetles and leaves, plus the powder from the feathers from the pigeons who love to have a morning bath but don't bother to wash the bath after they have finished!
We haven't seen Hop-Along the frog for a few days but today, as OTL went into the garden, there was a big 'Plop' and that confirms Hop-Along has dived back into the water.
Seeing that Diving Beetles don't make big splashes, it must be old Hop-Along going for a swim!
We reckon that providing the we get a reasonable sunrise tomorrow; we might even get a picture worthy of putting on the blog!
We haven't seen a sunrise for ages!
