Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here on a wet Monday!
After all of the super weather we have had this year, it looks like the 'normal' weather is back. Over night we were woken by the rain drops on the window and the dripping of the water, over the gutter and down onto the window ledge!
It didn't help to have The Missus bouncing around in bed and kicking both Holly and I off the bed!
As normal, it was pitch black when we went out for our morning walk and the rain was just finishing.
Old Two Legs decided to leave the camera at home 'cos he didn't want to get it all wet. It didn't matter 'cos the sun stayed behind the clouds and to be honest, there was nothing to see at all!
Eric was doing his favourite trick of waiting for Holly and I to catch up and then hurrying us up to get back to the car before it rained again!
Lunchtime the rain had eased off so Wendy and Monty were out with us. Monty walked all the way from the car, across the football field and all the way down to the Sea Wall. It was at that point he went looking for Nargles!
I think I've found one, I'm sure it's a Nargle, I know it's a Nargle! |
After a good ferret around and a lot of snuffling he lifted his head and said.........
It's run away! |
Looking at the weather forecast, we should be getting some better weather over the next few days.
On our way around the walk today we met up with a bird watcher who complained that he hadn't seen any geese on the mud flats and I must say that the Brent Geese normally turn up at the end of September and the Canada Geese are normally here by now.
I reckon all the geese have stayed on holiday 'cos the weather has been so warm this year!
So, have a look at the area where you live to see when the winter birds arrive!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
