Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
You know sometimes you wake up first thing in the morning and there is something nagging at the back of your head, a sort of premonition of things to come?
Well, I had that this morning and I just couldn’t put my claw on it.
Our morning walk went off without a hitch, it was warmer than yesterday and no wind. Mind you, we didn't see any foxes but that's no trouble 'cos you need to be up really early to catch them!
At half ten, after Old Two Legs had cleaned the cages and had his breakfast, I decided it was time for our lunchtime walk. It took a bit of persuading to get OTL to stop what he was playing about with and into his coat. It was then that Eric fell out of his bed and started to rattle the cage door. A good sign he was wide awake and looking for an adventure!
Just for a change, The Missus said she would come along as well!
So, off we went Eric, TM, Holly, OTL and me!
Eric hasn't been out for some time, what with this Covid, which ferrets can catch!
So, to begin with Eric wanted to hide in the ferret bag but he also wanted to see what was happening out there!
What happens if the Covid chases me?
After a slow start he got the message and was sniffing and searching like a ferret should!
OK, it's sniffin time!
He even chased after me on our way back to the car!
Outta my way woofer!
Now, around this time of year we can expect the ferrets to start moulting but Eric hasn't started so he looks a real star in his winter coat!It won't be long before he starts dropping hair all over the place but at the moment, a star!
So, now he has been out I can see there will be more times when there will be four of us out walking!
Bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
