Windy and a little colder.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

It has been a little drafts today and the ferrets have stayed wrapped up in Old Two Legs arms instead of wriggling to get onto the ground!

Mind you, when we got to the beach they had to get down and go for a forced run along the sand!

No, nothing new today!
Max and Oscar said they would be glad when they get back home and I must say I was thinking the same thing!

We should have worn our Winter Coats!
Lunchtime it was just as windy but the tide was right in. Miss May was running along the beach but didn't chance getting too close to the waves 'cos they were bigger than yesterday and looked a lot wetter!

I'm watching you!
Eric was a bit slow in getting moving but once he got going he was like a rocket! We were charging along when we met a gang of woofers we know. Eric and May had to be picked up but we couldn't hang around 'cos Eric and May wanted to get down and go charging through the grass along a path they had made from running along the same path every day!

It has now got so worn that even Wendy and Freddy have started to use it as well!

No sign of the Cetti's Warbler today so it must have gone back to the reeds where it is warmer!

Let's hope things pick up soon 'cos Spring is just around the corner!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Wot Is It and Can We Eats it Precious?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, we are experiencing some 'Low Pressure', you can tell that 'cos the waves have gone!

No Wind, No Waves, Boring!
It was so boring that Miss May decided that she would have a little paddle.

Trouble with ferrets is that their legs are rather short in relation to their body, so, their tummy is close to the ground, which means they have to be quick whenever the walk over a bump!

Now, it also follows that if they are standing on the waters edge and a little wave arrives on the shore, they will in turn end up with wet paws and a wet tummy!

Yikes! It's Wet!
Miss May found out the wet way!

Holly and I know about things like that, so, unless I'm going in for a swim, we stay well back from the water!

No, just the same boring sniffs!
I had fun winding Old Two Legs up by asking if he could get some climbing gear so I can climb the Rock Wall!

A Harness, some Safety Ropes and Crampons?
I won't tell you what he said 'cos it's rude!

As we all headed towards the concrete stairs Holly and I rushed on to the grass and went into Serious Sniff Mode!

Eric and May came along behind but stopped on the stairs 'cos there was a little bird looking all cold and tired with it's head tucked under it's wing, fast asleep!

But wot is it Precious?
OTL had to hold back the ferrets who wanted to do the 'Chicken Taste Test' and this little bird didn't even know they were there, licking their lips!

In the end the bird woke up and fluttered a couple of feet away from two sniffing little ferrets!

OTL couldn't identify it but with the couple of dodgy snaps he had enough to go on for when he got home to look in the bird book!

Any ideas?
Well, to stop you all worrying, OTL reckons it is a Cetti's Warbler. He has often heard this little bird calling but never seen it in 'Real Life' so that is another he has ticked off his list.

Now, the next one he has to find is a Bullfinch!

Not that we've ever seen any down on the beach!

Hey! We guessed right, Izzy's third little woofer is called Jean Genie!

The Missus said the she would just love one to stay with us but OTL said that our pack is big enough thank you and we rather agree with him!

We can sniff chicken cooking down stairs so we are off!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

An Overload of Cute!

Hi Woofers!

It's us back on a rather mild Sunday, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Down here in North Kent the temperature has got to the dizzy height of ten degrees!

Not exactly sun bathing weather but well on the way!

There was the normal quota of visitors wandering up and down the Sea Wall and we even got chased along the wall by a family who had stroked the ferrets before and wanted another stroke!

We met up with Barney II who was just Tickled Pink to say hello to Old Two Legs and get his tailed tickled!

Yo! OTL!
We got some pictures from little Izzy of her new family, she has named two of them, Major Tom and Lady Stardust. We are still waiting for the third name, wot about 'Jean Genie'?

Dead posh those names are but we didn't know Izzy was a David Bowie fan, you Little Rocker you!

This weaning lark can get complicated!

OK, Who's got the Doggy Scoff?
This is how to do cute!
Ooops! This cushion is slippy!

It's hard being super cute!

OK, let's try that again!
Well, that's it for today, super lazy, super cute and dinner is on it's way!

Now, before we go, Archie Babe has just got to stop sticking his nose and tongue into yukky stuff even if they sniff super!

That way you won't get grumbly tums!

If it carries on like this you will have to wear that muzzle every time you go out the front door, remember, that's not good for your street cred!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday 28 January 2017

We get visitors!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We love the weekend, you never know what is going to happen. It could be a really lazy time with Old Two Legs while The Missus is out at a Master Class or Crop Thingy or the place could get turned up side down by visitors!

Today was one of those 'Upside Down' sort of days!

It started with OTL getting up a little later than normal which of course made everything else a bit later than normal.

Our run on the beach with Wendy and Fred was good fun 'cos May found a sniff that was calling out to be rolled in, by all of us!

You should have seen OTL jumping up and down trying to get control of two ferrets and a couple of woofers!

No Chance!

Back home TM was cooking up some Lambs Heart and the sniff filled the house! So, while we stuffed our tummies, OTL went to work on the ferret cages.

He seemed in a bit of a hurry today and even forgo the normal chase around the house and a roll on the carpet, for the ferrets!

Almost as soon as they were reinstalled into their cages, there came a knock on the front door.

Holly and I were not expecting any callers so we got into 'Woofer Mode' and gave it some serious 'Woof Off' growls and woofs.

The front door was opened and in stepped Auntie Jane, Uncle Ian and three little puppies!

The puppies were Alfie, Oscar and Louie!

That was it, Holly decided to retreat to the bedroom to guard her Bonio treat while I legged it into OTL's office to protect the ferrets, and my Bonio!

Out comes the camera and OTL has few clicks before he has to go out to do some work.

I can do cute without trying!
Holly and I decided to go back upstairs onto our bed and wait until OTL came back, at least we would keep out of trouble!

Like all puppies, they don't last too long before they needed a sleep!

Having a Snooze Break!
Now these three are all brothers and are a Jack Russell, Poodle cross, so that makes them Jack Doodles!

I must admit that two of them look a bit like Holly and I did when we were puppies but Louie definitely has the Jack Russell look about him, even when he's asleep!

Louie.
When OTL came back Louie made a great fuss of him and OTL said that he could stay if he wants but Auntie Jane said that there was no chance!

We love Auntie Jane!

No, we want to stay with Mummy!
After they left we headed off to the beach and being the weekend there were the normal strangers walking along the Sea Wall and there were the normal questions like............what are they?

One thing we did notice was the shape of the sky, it looked like the sand on the sea shore after the tide has gone out!

Well, it's just gone high tide!
We reckon that there is a warm front heading our way so maybe tomorrow it will be a lot warmer!

Now we are off to see what is for dinner!

See you all tomorrow1

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Friday 27 January 2017

It's Friday at last!

Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Another cold day but not as cold as yesterday! Mind you, it is Winter and the colder it is the more bugs get zapped so we don't suffer from biting bugs in the summer!

You know it was so cold Old Two Legs didn't bother with the camera this morning!

It took young Freddy a little while to get going on the beach but once he had warmed up, he was off like a shot, heading back to a warm comfortable travelling cage in the back of the car!

We remembered what he was like when we first welcomed him to our pack, he would spend ages just looking at the bushes and the sky and saying that he 'Didn't know there was so much!

Nowadays he is all tearing about sniffing all the sniffs and almost keeping up with May as she enjoys a good run along the grass path!

Lunchtime we were back again but with May and Eric this time. Now Eric is a bit of a 'Freddy Clone' with regard to this walking lark. It's OK spending all your time in a warm cage with soft bedding but a walk in the fresh air or a dig on the beach really gets your fur to stand up!

Well, it was like that with Eric. At the Ferret Rescue he and his brothers and sisters were in the open air but still in a cage, so they got fresh air but no rampaging!

To begin with Eric was a little unsure of himself and spent most of the time looking at the sky and all the bushes and then he does a 'Freddy' which is 'Roll on your back and wait to be picked up'!

Miss May is a bit of a 'Fast Lady' and enjoys a good run. If Eric wasn't keeping up she would rush back and give him a shove!

It didn't take Eric long to pick up on the walking lark and although his isn't as fast as May, he does keep a good pace!

OK girl, race you to the steps!

Everyone has their limit and Eric is no different, there comes a time when the strain of keeping his tummy off the ground does tend to make him a bit tired, so, he stops and waits until OTL crouches down so Eric can run up and jump onto OTL's leg so he can get a carry for a little while.

Now this is causing OTL a problem 'cos when OTL wants to take a picture of Eric, Eric thinks that OTL is offering a lift and he goes rushing over to OTL and up he goes!

So, the only way to get a picture of Eric it for OTL to wait and 'Ambush' Eric as he tries to climb the steps!

You did this yesterday!
Holly reckons that we should do a 'Freddy' and roll over onto our backs and wait for OTL to pick us up and carry us back to the car!

Wot about a lift OTL?
OTL says that if we can both climb into the ferret bag he would give us a lift!

I don't reckon that Holly could get her head in the bag, never mind her butt!

So, us woofers are back on our paws again!

OTL has got to go out tomorrow morning to do some work, now that's a bit much, I mean, hasn't his customers learnt that the weekend is for resting!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Thursday 26 January 2017

Wot with the wind as well, it has been Icking cold down here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again.

I don't know what it's been like up your end of the world but down here it hasn't got above freezing all day!

When we got to the beach it was minus two degrees and with a stiff wind blowing we reckon the windchill added two or three minuses to that!

It was so cold that Old Two Legs didn't get the camera out 'cos it was too cold to take his paws out of his pocket, having forgotten his 'Winter Gloves'!

Wendy and Freddy were in a hurry to get back to the car and I must admit, Holly and I didn't hang about either!

Lunchtime it was May and Eric's turn to come out for a walk. They had a walk on the grass path as they headed down to the beach. Mind you, they kept on climbing up OTL's leg to get back into his arms for a cuddle!

On the beach Holly spotted a Wormy Man waiting for the tide to recede so he could start digging.

Has he stopped for a wee?
Of course he had just stopped to watch the water!

If I had a wee now those woofers will see me!
Eric wasn't hanging about either 'cos the wind was still blowing and it was still one degrees below freezing!

Normally Eric would hang around and maybe do a 'Freddy' by rolling on his back or sniffing around but today it all Go Go Go!

Out of my way, these rocks are cold!
We were sad to read about Storm yesterday, so, we are keeping our claws crossed he gets sorted out!

We were told that we may get a visit on Saturday by three little woofers called Alfie, Oscar and Louie! Yep! It looks like they have got over being stabbed with needles and now are protected against all those nasty bugs!

Mind you, we will have to be on our best behaviour 'cos they are bound to have a wee or a poo on the carpet and we don't want to get blamed!

OTL says he will be there with the camera to take some photo's!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wednesday 25 January 2017

Foggy, Foggy Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again.

Wot a gloomy day it has been.

We got up late, looked out of the window and couldn't see the end of the road, too much fog!

It was better down on the beach but there was still too much fog to be able to see over to Sheerness!

I'm getting fed up with this  fog stuff!
Mind you, I did see the Brant Geese again but they didn't hang about for a chat!

You know, Holly's given us a bad reputation!
There was one bird watcher we spotted but we were not too sure of what he was looking at 'cos there was just too much fog!

I spy with my little telescope, Fog!
Back home there was some Lambs Heart waiting, so we had a good excuse to stuff our chops and crash out on our Day Beds!

Lunchtime we were down on beach again with May and Eric.

Eric was having fun digging in the sea shells and rummaging around in some of the exposed roots of the Sea Kale.

Miss May on the other paw was charging around the beach.

Old Two Legs wanted to take a photo of me, just for Archie Babe, so I stood there striking pose.

OTL suddenly said, 'Watch, it'!

Watch Wot?
Then she was there, a fast moving ferret going at Ferret Speed Mach Three!

I just had time to move to the side as she screamed past me!

A Fast Flying Ferret!
It was like that, all the way home! Both May and Eric were running and sniffing along the grass path all the way back to the car park!

It was still foggy so rather than investigating the sniffs in the garden we all crept off to OTL's office and fell asleep on our Day Bed!

We know how to live!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Tuesday 24 January 2017

Stone Walls are expensive!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

We were up late this morning, Old Two Legs didn't sleep too well, until it was time to get up!

It's strange how you always fall asleep just before you have to get up!

We were so late that everyone had been out for their walk and there was no one on the grass path or the beach!

A little misty but not too cold!
Just for a change the frost wasn't so thick this morning and the wind had dropped right down to nothing!

Holly spotted some Brant Geese by the shore but as soon as Holly went to say 'Hello', they all flew off!

Watch it! There's that woofer again!
I think they remember that Holly Chops likes chicken!

Miss May and Eric came out with us 'cos they hadn't been out for some time and both of them needed a good run along the beach and up the hill.

Back home OTL set to cleaning up the cages and making it all tidy.

Lunchtime arrived and we were set to help OTL 'cos he had to go out and visit a customer and we were supposed to guard the car. Holly, after a jog along the sea wall, said she was in super condition the guard the car and she would woof off anyone who came close!

Come near our car and you're in deep poo!
After our walk we were getting ready to go when OTL's customer rang up and cancelled the meeting! Spoil sport, we were looking forward to a bit of woofing!

So, instead OTL headed off to places we had never been before!

Do you remember last holiday when our car got attacked by a Yorkshire Stone Wall?

Well, it managed to put a couple of scratches alongside the rear passenger door. OTL was not a Happy Puppy and he decided to fund the repair himself rather than through the insurance 'cos he reckons the insurance route would cost him a fortune.

Well, today was the day when he took a deep breath and walked into the menders and said he needed not only the door done but the bonnet as well where some one had scratched when we were up in Tobermory and also the scratches on the rear spoiler where he had scratched getting the ladders off the roof!

Three jobs in one go!

Well, out came the man and did wot OTL does when he has to price up a job, he looks at it, says Mmmm, then did a deep intake of air through his teeth which made it look like the job was more difficult than OTL imagined!

Yeah! We know all about that trick and while the man was looking at the car both Holly and I did a Gggrrrrrrrh! and the ferrets looked out of the cage and licked their lips!

The man got the message and in the end did OTL a good price!

I mean, it's more than his life's worth to try that trick on us!

So all has worked out well and we await a date to take the car in.

Not sure what we got for dinner today but I hope it will be tasty, I just fancy some Lambs Heart!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Monday 23 January 2017

Not the best day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here.

Old Two Legs had to leave the morning walk to The Missus today 'cos he had an appointment first thing.

TM has developed a stinker of a cold so we didn't have our normal game on the beach!

The ferrets have got the hump 'cos they haven't been allowed out for a run on the beach!

What is worse, OTL has come back home with the start of a cold!

That TM has got a lot to answer for!

So, today it's a couple of TL blowing raspberries into handkerchiefs!

It's a good job us woofers are cold free!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday 22 January 2017

A Turneresque Morning!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It was rather frosty this morning!

Lucky for us the wind had dropped to almost nothing but there seemed to be about six inches of frost!

We got down to the beach well after the sun had got up but there was a super glow in the sky. Old Two Legs said it reminded him of a Turner painting, you know, little definition but vivid colours!

Turneresque or just misty?
We were more interested in the ice and frost that had built up on the sea shore, Freddy went into the water to have a wee but didn't hang about 'cos it was freezing!

Not the best place for a wee!
It was good to get back home and into the warm again. We snuggled down in our Day Beds and enjoyed a relaxing snooze after a good bowl of Lambs Heart!

Lunchtime it had warmed up but there was a load of sea mist all over the place.

Where's the Sheerness gone?
Miss May and Eric loved it down on the beach and the pair of them found a sniff to roll in!

Eric did himself proud, not only did he find a sniff but he also found a rock to roll on as well!

A Sunday Sniff and a Rock to Roll on!
The best bit was when we first arrived, there, coming along the path were a couple of Two Legs. The female stopped and looked at the ferrets, 'Oh Bless' she said, then said it four or five times more.

We were getting a bit bore when she changed he chant and asked 'How do the Dogs like them?'

We could tell OTL had the pickle in him 'cos he said.....

'Well, they prefer them slightly roasted and served on rye bread with a side salad and some brown HP Sauce!'

She gave him a funny look and backed away, quickly!

Miss May said OTL was 'Awful'!

A bit further on we had to stop twice more, once to confirm they were ferrets and not rats and the other to have their photo taken!

Holly and I were totally ignored!

Such fun on a Sunday!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday 21 January 2017

He's at it again!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It was frosty again this morning but little or no wind and by the time we got down to the beach, no sunrise!

It was The Missuses fault, she wanted to take a load of gear up to the Village Hall for the Allhallows Croppers and there wasn't enough room to take Old Two Legs as well.

The poor lad was told to get out of the car and start walking!

I mean, it's his car!

So, by the time he got to the hall the sun had got up, had a shower, combed its hair and was beaming down on the Sheerness Docks!

Late again!
The other day there were loads of jet trails in the sky but you need the right light to capture them, OTL tried on the ones we could see but they didn't come out to well!

Well, he tried!
So, with two failures under his belt he took a picture of the sun over the docks and 'Played' with it on the computer.

I'm a little unsure if I like it or not, still, it's different and you can see two jet trails!

Oh No! It's the Ethereals Again!
As we had the house to ourselves, OTL took time cleaning the cages out and the ferrets had  an extra hour running about the house and creating mischief!

Freddy found out where Miss Wendy was hiding her chicken strips and he made a pig of himself by finishing of the stash!

Eric discovered where the bottles of Ferretone were stored and spent most of the time trying to open the cap, but without success.

Wendy has learnt how to ask OTL for another slurp of Ferretone from the bottle!

That now means all of them can ask OTL, 'Please, cane we have some More?'

We were late getting out at lunchtime but it didn't matter 'cos the sun was out and the wind had dropped to just 1mph!

May and Eric had fun on the beach, both were rolling in a sniff they found on the beach.

Of course, being the weekend, there were loads of strange Two Legs walking up and down the Sea Wall and as usual, we had to stop, answer the same sort of questions, like, 'Do They Bite'?

OTL answered, 'Yes, They will rip you hand off if you try to stroke them'!

No one listened and they all extended a finger to stroke Eric's head!

One day Eric will be hungry and decide to give their fingers a nibble!

See you all tomorrow.

(and yes, we did notice you hadn't left a comment!)

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Friday 20 January 2017

It's Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

It was a bit chilly this morning but we decided not to have our 'Fleece Jackets', mind you, we met up with Max and Oscar and they had their 'Winter Coats' on!

It's a bit cold around the tummy area!
Old Two Legs reckons they were brilliant but as Holly said, 'If he thinks we are going to wear those, he's got another think coming!'

She has a point, just look at the legs!

It's a bit tight around the chest!
It was Fred and Wendy's turn to come out for the morning walk and they had fun running on the beach but Fred did ask for a carry half way back to the car.

The new Duvet arrived this morning but OTL says he will get it changed at a local store on Monday, providing they have one in stock!

Lunchtime it warmed up a little and Eric has been promised a run on the beach but not until Saturday
morning!

Miss May decided she wanted a run so out she came with us!

Eric decided that if he rattled the cage hard enough and if he chewed on the bars enough, OTL would let him come as well.

Eric rattled and chewed and rattled some more.

OTL let him come with us!

The frost had mostly cleared up but in the shadow of the Sea Wall the shells were still chilly!

I'm sure I've been Brass Monkeyed!
Eric got a couple of carries and on one occasion he ran almost half way up OTL's leg!

He made it back to the car and after a drink settled down in the Travelling Cage and warmed his paws up on Mays tummy!

Back home they were both straight into their 'Cuddle Cup' and asleep within five minutes!

The Missus has a 'Crop' this weekend, so we have got some time for a game with OTL and Eric says he wants to come out again, providing it's not too cold or frosty!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Thursday 19 January 2017

Slept like a Log!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Last night we all slept on the new bed and although it was like sleeping on floor boards, it was super comfortable and none of us, except The Missus, woke up during the night and this morning we all felt like we've had a good nights snooze!

Old Two Legs decided that the bed was ideal except for the duvet. It's the right size for the bed but when we are all fighting for a bit of the duvet, OTL always seems to loose out!

So, this morning he got onto the people who are supplying a new duvet to get it exchanged for the next size up.

Yep! We got 'Job's Worth' to help us!

Seems like the duvet is out for a 5 day delivery and can't be stopped, so, we have to wait for it to be delivered, then send it back, get a refund and order a new one. OTL said it sounds long and complicated and expensive on carriage charges and why can't he order a new one and the carrier pick up the wrong one, all sorted in one hit?

'Oh No, we can't do that, it's more than my job's worth to do that!'

So, OTL decided to do it the easiest way, their way, and although it may take a bit longer to get it all sorted, it has less chance of going wrong, 'cos they have their 'System' and as long as you stick to the System, it should work!

These Two Legs do like their 'Systems'!

This morning it was just as cold as yesterday down on the beach but we had a good game and as it was Miss May who came out, we didn't have to hang about waiting.

The sun hadn't got out of bed yet so OTL was clicking away with the camera.

Red Sky in the Morning means Woofers Warning!
We met up with some of the other woofers out for a walk and there was one Jack Russell woofer who was taking more of an interest in Miss May and Holly had to woof him off!

We had to get back early 'cos TM wanted the car to go out to a 'Master Class' that Auntie Barbara was running, sounds like fun!

So, today we have been lazing about on the sofa watching the world go by!

Lunchtime we woke up Fred and Wendy to see if they fancied a walk on the beach, they looked so sleepy that OTL said they could do with some 'Fresh Air'!

Not that it did them and good, they were forever trying to get back in the bag for a snooze!

They did have a run on the football field and of course stopped for a sniff at the Mole Holes!

As soon as they got back in the cage they were snoozing their tails off!

OTL has been busy on the computer again, so, we decided to leave him alone and instead sit by the window waiting for TM to return!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Bouncy Bed?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

We were all excited this morning waiting for the new bed to arrive!

Holly and I had a snooze while Old Two Legs was getting ready to take us out and while we were out, the ferrets were jumping all over it just like that advert on the TV!

Bong, Bong, BONG!

That was it, Holly and I jumped up and were Bonging away until OTL  told us all to get off!

One of the good things was we could watch the progress of the delivery truck on a map on the computer. Lunchtime OTL reckons there was enough time to take us out for a walk and be back before they arrive.

Now I know OTL is pretty good at finding 'Windows' in the rain but when we got back home, behind our car was driving the delivery truck!

Cut it fine or wot!

After the bed was assembled and before the duvet was put on, OTL and I had a game of 'Bong' to see what the mattress was like, it was like a wooden floor!

Not so much 'Bong' more of a 'Thud'!

Mind you, when The Missus got on the bed and did her 'I can't sleep' Bong the bed didn't bounce so much as the old bed and mattress.

We'll just have to see what it's like tonight!

Bong, BOng, BONG!

It was a heavy frost this morning and lasted for most of the day in some parts. OTL was out early to knock a hole in the ice on the garden pond so the birdies can get a drink.

So, that's it for today, we have all had our medicines and the ferrets have had their anti flea drops and OTL says he is going to have a whisky tonight to celebrate getting a new bed after over twenty five years!

Excluding mattresses!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Tuesday 17 January 2017

The Day After The Day.

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, wot a day! Yesterday it was Old Two Legs birthday, I think he is 500 years old or summat near to that!

We went down to visit his cousin and his wife. Now Glynis, has her birthday on the 15th January so they get together to make it a whole day of celebrations and gassing about 'The Old Days'!

A woofer can get really bored listening to the tales they tell!

We were good woofers and didn't get into trouble when they went out for a meal at a local restaurant where they had loads to eat and they didn't even bring us a Doggy Bag back!

By the time we got back home it was terribly late, so we didn't have time to do a blog, we were just too tired!

Today Eric got to go to the vet for a checkup on his operation and to check his stitches. All was OK and the vet said he could go out for a run on the beach tomorrow but OTL said that we were going to leave it for another 'Few Days' just to be on the safe side!

Not that it stopped Eric from investigating the office.

He found the Thingy Wottsit that connects to the Internetty and asked if he could eat it as it had flashing things on it that looked rather tasty!

Does it taste like chicken?
The trouble with Eric is that he gets all upset when he can't go out for a run, especially when Fred and Wendy go out and he gets even worse when Miss May gets to go out and he is left behind!

Down on the beach Wendy spent a long time investigating the Sea Kale Roots that were still exposed to the wide world after our Storm which washed loads of sand and shells away!

These tubers sniff of something I just can't put my claw on!
Freddy was having a good time running and dashing about. He made OTL put him down almost as soon as he arrived and he ran and walked almost all the way down to the beach and back again to the car!

He did stop when one of those flying things came over the top of us, mind you, we don't see too many with two whirly things!

Is that a Helichopter?
The sun had got up when we got to the beach but OTL has made it look like it is very early but the sun over Sheerness gives it away!

A Sneaky Picture today!
We have been helping OTL take the pictures down off the wall by the stairs 'cos tomorrow we are expecting delivery of a new bed!

OTL has arranged for the delivery men to take away the old bed and install the new bed so tomorrow night we will be sleeping on the new King Size bed!

OTL was thinking of getting a Super King Size so all of us can get on the bed but in the end we decided that a King Size would be the largest one we could get in the bedroom and if there wasn't enough room, well, The Missus could always sleep in the caravan!

OTL got loads of cards through the door and there was even a couple sent via the Internetty thing!

One from The Cat Woman and that had a super picture of three ferrets that were the spitting image of Wendy, Eric and Freddy!

He also got one from Archie Babe which was a moving cartoon of a woofer being attacked by a bunch of marauding frogs! The only saving grace was the woofer had to stop chasing the frogs so he could do some mugging and pinch the sausages that were cooking outside the tent flap!

No, don't ask, it's too long and we haven't even mentioned the Robin and the Chaffinch!

Thanks Archie Babe, OTL has played it seven times already!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
