Too much like work!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

You know, we reckon that Old Two Legs is getting to like work too much!

I mean, there he was yesterday, working and then today not only was he walking but also marching all over a fifty-acre park inspecting the topography of the place! It was not only extremely muddy but the hills were steep and the mud seemed to get deeper and wetter the further up the hill he went!

The things that lad will do when there is a chance to earn a couple of shillings!

For those who were born yesterday, a shilling is ten pence in today’s money!

To get back to today, OTL took us out this morning then rushed around cleaning out the ferret’s cage before heading off to the park.

Lunchtime arrived and there was no sign of OTL, so, what is a woofer to do?

Tell The Missus it's time for walkies!

Off we went down to the sea side but when we got there, I spotted four Big Bozo Woofers and decided the best thing I could do was to disappear into the woods and make myself invisible until they had past!

I often do that when I see woofers I don't know, make like the wind and drift on past along another path!

It's a good job I know most of the paths cos I can duck and dive all over the place!

It was mid-afternoon before OTL returned. On the way home he had to pass the RSPCA place and decided to drop in and take a look at the ferrets they may have.

We don't mind him looking at ferrets, just as long as it's not woofers he's looking at!

There were a couple of worker ferrets and a brother and sister. Then there was one on her own who looked to be around a year old.

OTL says he was tempted but as he is heading off to the Isle of Skye with cousin Alun soon, it would not be fair to leave TM to look after the new ferrets on account she is not so experienced with ferrets!

So, it looks like OTL has got the itch and maybe in a months’ time there may be the patter of tiny paws in the empty cage!

I think that tomorrow Holly Chops will be down the vets for a 'Discussion' on the wart on her paw. Freeze it or Cauterization it or chop it off, the wart not the paw!!

Whatever the result it will be expensive!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
