Hello Woofers!
Daisy here.
Well, they promised snow up north and cold down here in the South East and as Old Two Legs and I headed off for the morning stroll the gauge on the car’s dashboard read out minus four degrees Celsius!
In fact, it was so cold the OTL took his knitted gloves with him, the ones he uses when he goes out birdwatching in the cold!
Crossing the football field I spotted a small horse ahead of us, so, I sat down on my backside to watch it walk ahead of me and behind all the bushes.
We let Murphy get ahead of us before I climbed up to the top path to see the pre glow of the sun. We even hung around just in case the sun climbed over the horizon but to be honest, it was just too cold to hang about waiting!
A quick look over towards Sheerness showed that the sun had no intention of waking up while we waited so off, we went down to the meadow.
The best we could do was to catch the plane pretending it was a comet!
Down in the meadow OTL took a shot at the plant life with what looks like it had six inches of frost on it!
Well, we didn't see any spiders web so plant leaves will have to do!
As we were heading across
the meadow we bumped into a couple of old mates, Dylan and Marley, OTL calls
them the 'Two Bob Dogs'! We haven't seen them for ages but the remembered OTL
and made a big fuss of him!
There were a couple of hooligans,
Bert and Jack, both were doing their 'Hooligan' game of charging around like a
pair of demented monsters!
I've not looked at tomorrow’s
weather but claws crossed the snow will stay away from our corner of the world.
Bye for now.
Daisy.
