A Chalkhill blue!

Hi Woofers.

Daisy here.

It's been another sunny day and the last of the weekend days off!

We were down the sea front and saw a Two Legs marching up and down the beach, I thought he had lost his car keys but OTL said he was doing what they call Metal Detecting, looking for metal stuff dropped or washed up onto the beach.

I wouldn't think he got much 'cos there is nothing but stones on the beach!

Bet he is looking for money!

I was sitting on the sea wall watching him when I spotted Murphy come around the corner. OTL was trying to make some shells look all artistic, without much success!

Maybe we could get the geezer with the metal detector to come along and find a pearl in the oyster shell!

While OTL was doing that, Murphy finally arrived and was a little unsure what OTL was doing. The clicking of the camera had him puzzled and he said he wasn't taking another step until he was sure it was safe!

 Wot is that ticking?

It took him a while to get brave enough to walk past us, but in the end and with the help of his TL he got all brave and trotted past!

That's it, sorted that one out!

OTL was looking carefully in the bushes and the blackberry leaves to see what he could and surprise, surprise, he spotted a Chalkhill blue sitting on a leaf enjoying the sun shine.

You know we haven't seen a Chalkhill blue for ages. That makes four different species we have seen this year!

Painted Lady, Speckled Wood, Green-veined White and now a Chalkhill blue!

Now, I don't mind OTL going off hunting for butterflies 'cos that means I can have a little paddle in the wet stuff!

Mind you, it hardly covered my paws!

Back to work tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy.
