A relaxing Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We had some fun last night, after a great evening watching Game of Thrones, eating nibbles and getting crumbs all over the place, we headed off to bed at ten fifteen!

Now, that's late for us!

During the night Old Two Legs and I were woken up by a noise that sounded like there was someone down stairs, talking!

OTL was about to get up to 'Investigate' when we realised it was Holly Chops, snoring her tail off!

She was on her back with her legs in the air and her head thrown right back!

Being Sunday we were up a little later than normal and even the ferrets were still asleep.

Down on the beach it was windy, chilly and rainy. It wasn't a lot of rain but the drops were cold and Holly just doesn't do wet! So, off she went back to the car while we followed on at 'Ferret Speed'!

Not the best weather for a Sunday!
Back home it was 'Clearing Up', well there were crumbs all over the place and the ferrets have been hiding our biscuits in the sofa! It's a good job our noses are so sensitive so we could sniff out the food and then tell OTL where it's all hidden!

Lunchtime it had stopped raining for just enough to get out for our lunchtime wall!

As normal, there were loads of visitors from all over the place and we got the normal questions, What are they? Are they Possums? Do they bite? Can little Brooklyn stroke one?

We loved the last on, send their child to stroke the ferret first so that if the ferret bites it'll get the child first!

OTL always shows them Eric's teeth and then says 'Stroke the other end!' Some do and some don't know what end to stroke!

I wouldn't bite really!
Miss May will allows strokes but only when OTL is holding her to make sure she is OK!

No Carry, No Strokes!
Back home we decided to have a sit down and a snooze before dinner. We have Chicken tonight, providing it thaws out in time! OTL says that he may give it a blast in the microwave just to help it along!

OTL is lucky, his dinners are designed to be microwaved from frozen and left for a couple of minutes to 'Rest'. OTL has been eating all of them and sometimes puts what is left of the gravy over our dinners, just in case we need a 'Kick Start' to get going!

Now, besides meat and potatoes he has been getting cabbage and cauliflower and green stuff he would not normally eat, but he eats it all down like a good boy, mainly 'cos the dinners are designed for those without a big appetite!

So, the Happy Meals could be described as 'Edible and good if you are on a diet or don't need a big dinner'!

OTL could do with loosing some of the podge around his gut so he is not complaining too much! Any way, he finishes off with cheese and biscuits and short bread and crisps and cheese straws and chocolate covered honeycomb and a healthy slurp of Single Malt!

He also has been doing some damage to the large pack of Twigglets he found in the back of the cupboard! We are not too sure if that is slimming or not!

So, he is 'surviving' and if things get tough, he'll pop up the road for a Kofti Kebab, large of course!

We have been told that The Missus is off to the Movies tonight, hot dog rolls and a bucket of Popcorn, sounds as slimming as OTL's nosh!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret
