Hello Woofers.
Daisy back again.
OTL is feeling better, not back to normal but eating again and snoozing. He's not allowed out 'cos he is still a bit wobble on his paws and driving the car would be a bit dangerous to himself and others on the road!
The Missus took me out first thing and we must have missed The Lads but did meet up with Pod the Bedlington Terrier, a quick sniff, pass on sniff info and hello to Joe, Pods Two Legs!
I thought I could sniff Devo when we got out of the car but decided it was a one or two day old sniff and anyway, it was going the wrong way!
I can foresee some fun and games coming up 'cos OTL has ordered up an electric shower for the bathroom. The one we have has a 250mm overhang which means you have to be cuddling the soap dish to get the water to land on his head, that is OK but then he can't wave his paws about to wash his bits!
When it arrives and is installed, he will have at least some 'elbow room'!
Now, nature has ways around obstacles as far as birds are concerned. We have a couple of bird feeders in the garden that are just right for finches and sparrows, then along came the starlings who managed to hang on to perches to scoop out the seeds. Next came the Collared Dove who copied the starling and demonstrated that size mattered when you wanted to shove a smaller bird off the feeder. The Pidgeon was the next to learn how to hang from the feeder scattering the seed onto the ground for any of the birds not yet able to hang from the feeder.
The latest to hang from the feeder is a Jackdaw, a bit clumsy but what he didn't eat, he tossed onto the ground!
What next? A Buzzard? I bet if he landed, he would take the whole feeder off the Feeder Pole and fly off with it, pole as well!
I'm off to give OTL a cuddle, in fact I have spent most of the day giving him cuddles!
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy.
