Strange looking dogs!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here with a report of a Strange Woofer!

You know we have seen some strange things when we've been out but today beats the lot!

It stared off first thing this morning, we were down the sea front on the morning walk when across the air came a new and strange sniff.

I just couldn't put my paw on it but it certainly wasn't one of the normal sniffs!

All the way around the walk the sniff kept wafting over the trees or come from under a bush.

Being a little chilly we didn't hang about too long and soon we were back home.

Now, remember OTL took a picture of some catkin as a sign of Spring? Well, he found out that the tree was a Hazel tree and what do you get from a Hazel Tree?

Hazel Nuts!

Looking around we couldn't see any other Hazel trees, so, OTL decided to get some Hazel Nots from home and plant them close to the existing tree.

OK, so, we know that it will be a few years before we see any thing but an attempt to grow some more fruit bearing trees was a good idea!

After digging a hole with his wellie heel, he buried six hazel nuts in a radius of ten metres.

TM has got some other nuts left over from Christmas but we don't think Brazil Nuts grow around here!

It was as we were heading back to the car that I got that sniff again and this time it was so strong!

Around the corner came the weirdest woofers I've ever seen!

Well, I've never seen a woofer like this so it must be a Llamawoof!

I just stood still wondering what to do, I mean, should I say hello or woof at it? Should I chase them away?

OTL called me and put my lead on my collar, funny thing is, my lead is longer than theirs!

It was back home that I remember that when Holly and I were puppies we saw things like this in a field next to Jeskins Farm, that must have been at least twelve years ago!

I'll be having dreams about them; I just know it!

Well, I suppose that it isn't every day you see Llamas!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
