Here comes Summer!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy here again.

Well, it's back to normal again. The big car is resting on the front drive and I'm back to the rear seats in the small car!

Still, the sunshine has made the day very warm, in fact Old Two Legs said that the heating didn't come on this morning, now that means the heating system has broken or the the temprature wasn't cold enough to start it up!

That doesn't worry OTL cos he says that the heating man is calling after Easter to do a service on the system  so what ever is or isn't wrong, it will get fixed!

Down on the sea front the sky was blue and there were a few fluffy clouds floating past and we could see Southend on Sea in the distance.

Is that a Kebab I can sniff on the air?

We met up with loads of the local woofers and young Charlie had even been in for a 'Deep Paddle' so he was wet up to his tummy!

He was pleased to see OTL and kept showing off by showing us how he could do the 'Sit' command and how he could stay there for a whole sixty seconds!

One Damp Doggy doing the 'Sit' to show off!

Charlie was all showing off as he had been doing the deep paddle stuff but said that his mate Susie was a better swimmer than him but he has been practising!

We told him that all he has to remember is to keep his nose above water and he will be OK!

When we got onto the beach, we couldn't find any sticks to fetch so I had to 'Pretend' with a little branch which to be honest was next to useless but I got my shoulders wet and afterwards I was able to have a good roll in the sand, even if OTL told me to 'Get Up'!

This bit of wood is smaller than a tooth pick!

Over the hill and just before the forest we stopped for a look at the Slippy Cows again and I had a rest on the bench table.

OTL phoned home to get my Doggy Towel ready to dry me off but I think that I will be scrubbed and washed and then after that, a haircut!

Well, I'll go back to being a black and white doggy and lose all the yellow bits that make me look like a Labrador!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
