Yo Ho Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
'Twas the day before Christmas and all through the house, nothing was moving, not even a mouse, well as long as you don't include Eric and Wendy who have been investigating all the prezzies under the tree, sniffing every parcel and trying to open them a little just to see what's in there!
Old Two Legs says that it's a good job there are loads of cardboard boxes that managed to resist the claws of Eric and I must admit, I had a little rake around, without any success. I got caught by OTL who said that as I've been a naughty puppy this year Santa Paws has crossed me off his list!
I'm not sure if he was telling porkies but I've decided to be very, very good this afternoon and over night, you know, no woofing in OTL's ear around midnight if I fancy a wander around the house doing my guarding duties!
The wind was picking up today, it was coming from the North, so that means it will be getting colder. I don't think there will be snow but you never know!
Do you think it will be frosty before snowy?
We met up with one of those sausage dogs who looked so excited to see us that it was obvious she doesn't get to see too many woofers!
She was tearing around like a rocked, bumbped into me and made me jump, then ran into OTL, rolled over on her back like a big tart and chased Holly behind a tree!
When she came tearing towards me I gave her a big 'Warning Woof', that sorted her out for a while!
Tonight we will be holding a midnight Carol Service so we can sing some of our favourite carols such as 'We Three Woofs' and 'Asleep in a Manger' or “Oi! Come All Ye Woofers”then there is “Hark The Hairy Woofers Sing” and not forgetting, 'Jingle Bells, Eric Smells'!
So, just in case we miss you tomorrow, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and best of all a safe one away from all the nasty Covid stuff!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
