Another Long March!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Just for a change Old Two Legs took us out this morning down on the sea front. Being so early we even managed to catch the high tide, well, close on the high tide anyway! There was a little rain, so much that OTL left his camara in the car, so, no clicking while I'm trying to have a wee!

It was the F1 Racing today so my stroll at lunchtime was based on the program times for the racing.

We had plenty of time and OTL decided we would do the 'Long Walk' but the way he was striding out it seemed more like a march!

Loads of clouds but very little rain!

Down by the old power station site the cooling water was still flooding out and judging by the turbulence, there must be a load of rocks or something that stirred up the water!

 Bubbly, bubbly!

Many years ago, I remember coming down here and the water was steaming, like it was hot or at least above the air temperature but not today!

I remember also that there would be small boats moored off the end, fishing, but I've not seen them for a long time.

The only thing fishing off the beach nowadays is the birds!

OTL says it is boring marching along the sea front so today he tried counting the steps he took to get all the way down to the end of the sea wall and back again to the car.

OK, there were a couple of places where he lost count but we reckon in the end he got an accurate count.

By the time we got back we reckon to have walked just over four miles or six thousand, five hundred metres!

So, this is the second march, well he was marching and I was sniffing!

The F1 Racing was exciting and Hamilton managed to squeeze by Verstuffin and take the chequered flag, GREAT!

We read that Archie Babe got a tad tiddly, well to be honest, he can keep it. I had a lick of OTL's beer when I was a pup and it made me sneeze my tail off, never again!

Back to work tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
