A Muggy Day but OTL finds the Soldier Beetles!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Wot a Muggy Day it has been. We got up late because The Missus over slept. She blamed us because were 'Fidgeting' and kept her awake!

Us? Fidget? Never!

It was all her fault, talking in her sleep, bouncing up and down on the bed and calling out 'It's Behind You!'

Gawd knows what the dream was about, nothing to do with 'Crafting' I'm sure!

Of course, all that noise kept the ferrets awake as well, so they were late getting up as well!

Today they had their normal Lactose Free Milk and slurped it down as though they hadn't had it for years!

You see, TM forgot to get the milk when she did the shopping and Old Two Legs had to get some Soya Milk from the Co-op 'cos they had run out of Lactose Free Milk.

The ferrets were not happy, neither of them drank it, in fact, Mr Brambles kicked both bowls of Soya milk across the office and stomped off in disgust!

Today OTL had got their proper milk, so he was in their 'Good Book' today!

Down on the beach Bro Brambles found his favourite rock again 'cos the tide had gone out!

Long time no see!
Miss Snowflake got out of the ferret bag and had a sniff and a wee but managed to creep back into the ferret bag while OTL wasn't looking, but she got in the wrong pocket and left her tail hanging out!

A right give away!

Can't see Me!
Back home it was Chicken, fresh out of the oven, just how we like it!

Then off for a snooze while OTL went out delivering.

Come lunchtime we were back down the beach and this time OTL was looking for insects on the plants.

First he found a Buff Tailed Bumblebee buzzing around the flowers.

Just Too Buzzy To Stop For A Chat!
Next we found a Solitary Bee that OTL thinks is a Colletes Halophilus, well that's what he thinks but to be honest, I wouldn't put any money on it!

A Colletes Halophilus?
Next he found a new crop of Soldier Beetles in a place where he had never found them in the past!

Now, you will be interested to know that they spend almost all of their time in the ground, except at mating time, and that is the only time OTL ever sees them.

And you can guess what they are doing!

It's Spring Time!
Holly and I were more interested in sniffs and we found one on a plant that was in the middle of the path, all on it's own, with nothing around it!

My! But was it an interesting sniff!

Now That is an Interesting Sniff!
Back home for more nibbles and a cuddle with OTL on the sofa 'cos he has decided to finish early and do some reading on ferrets. I wonder why!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles
