TM is now a Happy Puppy, again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles beach with you again.

We have had 'Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth' over the last two days!

You see, The Missus managed to smash the screen on her iPlod Thingy Wotsit and to listen to her you'd have thought the end of the world had arrived!

How was she going to get on her blog? How can she process the pictures of cards? How can she get onto FacePaper to chat to all her mates while she is doing the dinner? Oh Doom and Woe!

The mascara was running down her cheeks making her look like Alice Cooper on a bad day!

That was yesterday.

Today, Old Two Legs took us for our morning walk, got back home, made a couple of telephone calls, left us to Doggy Scoff and went off with the iPlod and got it repaired, while he waited!

As you might guess, TM is now a Happy Puppy again!

It did mean that we didn't get our midday swim and roll in smells on the beach and we had to have a walk across The Fields, but we did manage to have a snooze in OTL's office while he was doing all his VAT stuff!

The only photo's he took were of the ferrets playing about in the rock pools!

Look, just hold yer tummy up, just like this!
Miss Snowflake just loves to paddle through the rock pools but Mr Brambles is a bit like Holly Dog, they both don't like getting their paws wet!

I Gotta Better Idea, Just Walk Around The Pool!
We were going to get OTL to take us out for another walk this afternoon but the rain came down and Holly and I decided that a warm bed was better than a soggy bottom, so we stayed indoors!

Tomorrow and the rest of this week should be good weather, so we are looking forward to some runs down in The Forest, chasing some more squirrels!

See you tomorrow!

Me and The Washing Machine

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

What a super Sunday it has been.

It started off all sunny like and we all had fun on the beach this morning. Holly found a dead bird on the beach and stayed to have a really good sniff. Old Two Legs and me and the ferrets had climbed all the way up the path to the top of the hill when OTL noticed Holly wasn't in sight.

So, he called, then he whistled and then he whistled a Big Whistle and still no Holly!

He had a choice, pick up the ferrets and call me and march all the way back down the hill to find Holly or, as he did, he took off the ferret bag, put the camera in the bag, put the bag and ferrets on the ground, tell me to 'Guard' and then he ran down the hill, onto the beach, told Holly off and chased her away from the dead bird and all the way up the hill to collect the ferrets who were wondering what all the fuss was about!

OTL wasn't too happy with Holly and told her she was a Naughty Puppy, not that Holly was bothered, she enjoyed the sniff!

OTL spotted some more Soldier Beetles but didn't have the right camera, no tripod and it was too windy!

One day OTL will get a good shot!
Back in the Car Park OTL met one of his customers who was down on the beach for a bit of fresh air and sunshine!

35mm lens f5.6!
Back home we got served up with chicken and biscuits while OTL went off to the caravan with his tool kit to do some repairs to the electrics. After breakfast we went out to watch him but to be honest, it was all rather boring!

So we left him to it and off we went for a snooze!

By the time he had finished it was lunch time and we were busting to get down to the beach again, well I was 'cos the tide would be in!

Holly and I got out of the car and rushed off, Holly got delayed by an interesting sniff and OTL stood by to make sure she doesn't hang about!

I went off and found a pile of Super Smelling Doggy Dump and I had a good roll!

OTL didn't spot it to begin with but as I was pacing up and down the waters edge waiting for him to throw a stick.

At first he didn't want me to go in 'cos he said it was too rough but after seeing the Big Brown Patch on my back, he clipped the lead onto me and tossed a stick in the water.

Well, in I went, but the waves were bigger than normal and they were crashing on the shore!

I managed to get the stick a couple of times but got knocked about a bit and I was pleased that we had the 'Safety Lead' on!

After a bit OTL decided that the  Super Smelling Doggy Dump had been washed off and he let me back in and off the lead!

This is One Big Washing Machine!
I will admit, it was fun but I was pleased to get my four paws back on dry ground!

A Damp but Clean Doggy!
Just as we got back to the car park it started to rain, so I got a rub down with our towel and we headed back home for an afternoon snooze while OTL joined us for an hours snooze as well!

Tomorrow OTL has got a load of stuff to do so I expect Holly and I will have to amuse ourselves in the garden chasing the butterflies and bees around the 'Wild Flower' section!

I'll have to get OTL to take a picture of it 'cos it looks pretty with the Corn Flowers and Poppy's and other stuff we don't know what it called!

See you tomorrow!

The Ferret War Cry!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Today we were expecting some sunshine and first thing it was all super sunny, but at ten fifteen the clouds came over and the treat of rain was upon us!

It had to rain, the local church was holding it's 'Garden Fete' in the field behind us! Seems they have no 'Influence' in 'High Places'!

Back to this mornings run.

We got down to the beach and of course, the first thing the ferrets do is to run down to the sea shore hunting 'Wriggly Things' and have a paddle in the rock pools!

I'm off Hunting Wriggly's!
Mr Brambles was more interested in doing some Rock Climbing up the top of the beach!

This is good exercise for a ferret!
Holly and I were on the lookout for rabbits and were doing our 'Sit Still & Wait' trick but today for some reason, no rabbit came out to play!

It didn't help when Mr Brambles offered to go down the hole and chase a rabbit or two out!

No, we don't need you to find us a rabbit to play with, thank you very much!
Back home, our road had been closed off because of the fete but Old Two Legs just drove over the sign!

Miss Snowflake had been telling us of the famous 'Ferret War Cry' and offered to demonstrate it using her toys.

Now, Holly and I thought it would be great fun and got ready to fake some 'Oooooh!' calls for when she started.

Now I know I'm not very brave but when she started it had me backing away towards the door!

She opened her mouth and showed her teeth and gave off a terrible howl that even silenced Holly!

Yhaawooool!!!!...............A Ferret, A Ferret, A Ferret!
First she attacked one toy and then next she took on both toys at the same time!

It was terribly impressive even if I say so myself!

OK, Now Both at The Same Time..............Yhaawooool!!!!!!!!
You know, I was glad when she got to the end of the demo, I've never seen all her teeth and claws at the same time before, scary!

The rest of the morning was all Snoozy 'cos OTL was busy doing bits of paperwork in the office, so we didn't see him until after lunch!

When we did get out again it was just starting to rain, not heavily but enough for Holly to notice and grumble!

Me? I just went for a splash, all on my own!

I just love a quiet splash about in my very own sea!
You could see there was some sort of rainy storm brewing, the clouds were getting blacker and heading our way!

Here comes the rain!
Funny thing was, it stopped as soon as we got home and that was it! No more rain. Maybe we will get some tonight while we're asleep, we don't mind that sort of rain, it washes the cars and waters the plants and makes puddles for Holly to skip around!

Bye bye for now!

See you tomorrow.

Funtastic Friday!

Hello Woofers!

It's us, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

The News Man said it was going to be sunny today but wet and rainy tomorrow, so, we thought, we had better get some fun in today before we get caught in a deluge!

The ferrets were away and down to the sea weed hunting for those Wet & Wriggly Things that Holly reckons are eels!

It was here a moment ago!
It was not a good hunt. They had as much luck as we have with squirrels!

We did have some fun on the way back to the car, Holly thought she sniffed a Weasel and I thought is was a Stoat and Mr Brambles said it was where he had a wee yesterday!

Here, I know that sniff!
Lunchtime the tide was right in and while Holly and Old Two Legs were dawdling along, I rushed ahead and had a swim all on my own!

Me, on my own!
It was great splashing about and when OTL found a stick to throw in, it was even better! Mind you, I was showing a bit of style, keeping my tail up!

You Gotta Keep Yer Tail Dry!
I must admit, after a while my tail did get a little damp, so, like any good doggy, I just had to have a good shake!

That's the water out of that ear!
OTL said that he had never seen me so wet and damp! In fact, he called me a Soggy Doggy and then suggested that I take Holly for a swim!

And Who's a Soggy Doggy Then?
Holly on the other paw did not look at that suggestion with any great enthusiasm, in fact when it was suggested all she said was.......................

.....'On Yer Bike Sunshine'!
OTL had a result, he noticed that the Soldier Beetles were out, both the male and female, so you can guess what was going on!

They are at it again!

Tomorrow he will be out with the Macro Lens, so providing we don't get soaked in the rain, we may have some more pictures of beetles!

See you tomorrow!

I nearly got a Squirrel!

Hi Woofers!

Us again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Well, where to begin?

Last night Old Two Legs was snoring his head off and the rest of the household were having trouble getting off to sleep. So, remembering Archie Babes trick, I sent Holly up onto the bed and she stuck her cold wet nose into his ear!

It worked!

Holly got kicked off the bed but that was a small price to pay for a good sleep!

Miss Snowflake got woken up by OTL and he tickled her tummy to wake her up. She was laughing and rolling about on her back and wagging her tail from side to side! Of course, Mr Brambles was busy eating his breakfast and was complaining about the chuckling noise she was making and how it was disturbing his breakfast time!

Well, as we were all up and awake we were off down to the beach good and early!

The ferrets were straight down to the sea weed saying they were 'Off for a Paddle'!

Race you to the water!
We, on the other paw, said 'Hello' to Bryn and a Hairy Labrador we sometimes meet. Then, as we were on the beach, we spotted that they were getting 'Treats'!

How come they got treats and not us?

Holly was right put out!

Look! They're getting Treats!
Of course, OTL was off playing with his camera and he spotted a boat that looked like it had run aground on the mud!

I said Reverse!
The clouds were blowing across the sun and he took this one of the light shining on the mud!

Dappled Light on the Mud.
Lunchtime we were out doing some deliveries and ended up at The Forest!

It was good to be down there again 'cos the squirrels were out and running around! OTL was running around trying to photograph a Meadow Brown!

OK, be quick 'cos I'm just too busy eating the nectar!
Holly and I were doing more serious stuff, like Squirrel Hunting!

I was trying the 'Stand Still and Watch Out' and it worked up to a point. The squirrels that were running around on the branches having fun and didn't see me. But, they were just too high up in the tree for me to get at!

Come on squirrel, come to Daisy!
There was one that was on the ground but it was just too fast and it got away. Well, it got away from me but OTL did catch it!

A High Speed Squirrel!
We managed to scare a few more squirrels but they were just too far away to be worth chasing. We even managed to upset a fox and he wasn't hanging about to say 'Hello'!

It's Them again, I'm off!
Back home The Missus came back from her lunchtime meeting with her mates and was dancing about in a new 'Pinny' with her name and 'Craft Workshop' embroidered on the front!

Now there's no living with her!

Wot a Tart!

As soon as TM returned home OTL was off to some work!

We spent the afternoon snoozing in the shade.

Friday tomorrow so that means the weekend is here, rain and sunshine!

See you tomorrow!

A Couple of degrees drop and Holly has a Double!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Did you notice it was a couple of degrees cooler last night, just about right for sleeping!

Old Two Legs was certainly enjoying his sleep when I decided to give his ear a lick at three thirty this morning!

Holly says I've 'Got a Thing' about ears!

Me? Ears? no, not me, it's just OTL's ear that calls out to me, especially the left one!

Ooooh! That left ear does something to me, I just can't leave it alone!

The run along the Sea Wall was great, there was a breeze blowing in off the sea which stopped us getting too hot and we even met up with that Bozo called Mercedes, or Merc, as his owner calls him!

He spotted us first and then came lolloping over to OTL to get his tickle under the chin and behind his ears. I bet he would love OTL's left ear as well if OTL let him get close to it!

It's that Bozo Mercedes!
Down on the beach the tide was still out, so no swimming for us doggy' but the ferrets did a paddle in the rock pools.

Miss Snowflake was demonstrating how to run through rock pools and puddles without getting your underside wet!

You jus' lifts yer tummy up and through you go!
I said that it was OK for a ferret to do 'cos her tummy was all flat and sleek but someone like Holly would have trouble keeping her tummy above her knees!

Talking of Holly Dog, we were having a look at Mike's Blog and following his travels around the UK and we spotted a picture on his last post that we reckon is Holly's double, only with a bit more fur!

Have a look and see what we mean!

Is it a Grumpy Holly or Max being serious?
Back home for some OX Heart, still hot out of the oven! Now that's what I call food, not that Doggy Scoff rubbish we were forced to eat yesterday!

We bet Archie Babe doesn't have to eat that stuff, we reckon he is served his dinner on proper china bowl with the biscuits 'Hand Rolled' into his meat!

Not like wot we get!

It's hard life we lead here and if it wasn't for OTL taking us for really good walks and adventures, we would run away and leave home, maybe tomorrow!

Lunchtime it was back to the beach again 'cos the tide was in and I just fancied a swim!

Body Surfin'
I found a big stick and OTL threw it in the water for me a few times! it was great, especially when Holly saw the size of it and said that she would leave it to me and then off she went 'Sniffin' the Sniffs'!

I was having a great time and after a while I was getting a bit puffed, so OTL and I hid the stick above the high water mark, all ready for the next time!

Is this a Stick or is it A STICK!
OTL took this picture and I reckon it shows how alike she and Max are, except Holly looks happier!

Is it Max or Happy Holly?
OTL was taking this picture when Holly and I spotted a rabbit and gave chase. OTL took the picture then looked around for us but we had gone!

Look, there goes the Woofers!
This was the only insect picture he managed 'cos the rest of his time was searching for us! Needless to say, OTL was not a 'Happy Puppy' and we got marched back to the car!

See you tomorrow!

Holly gets wet, but so does OTL!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Another glorious day full of sunshine and fun!

Last night I decided to play a joke on Old Two Legs. This time of the year he suffers from terrible hay fever and has taken to sleeping with the duvet over his face, to keep the bright sun light out of his eyes, (It gets light at three you know!) and the pollen from flying up his nose!

Well, around one thirty, Holly and I had just finished our 'Puppy Patrol' and were about to go to sleep when I got this terrible urge to give OTL's ear a lick, just to make him feel better!

You know what it is like, the urge just wouldn't go away! So, up I gets onto the bed, walked around until I was sitting on his shoulder and then I raked the duvet away off his face and gave his ear a really good lolloping lick!

After I had finished and he had stopped grumbling, I settled down to sleep.

That was until about three fifteen, it started again, that little voice in my ear that said 'Go on, do it again!'

So I did!

You know, OTL got up late this morning, seems like he didn't get his full eight hours sleep last night, dunno why not!

Down on the beach the ferrets were having fun chasing things under the sea weed. Mr Brambles said they were all sort of wet and wriggly!

It was here, just here, all wet and wriggly!
That was it, next thing both he and Miss Snowflake were charging around the sea weed, it was just like Holly and me when we are chasing the rabbits around!

They were fighting each other to get to the 'Wet & Wriggly Thing' and Mr Brambles won 'cos he was heavier!

Of course, while they were fighting each other the 'Wet & Wriggly Thing' got away!

Get out the way, I want it!
Mr Brambles moved off but Miss Snowflake was determined to find the 'Wet & Wriggly Thing' again!

It's here, I just know it's here, I can sniff it!
Holly had been watching all of this and was roaring her head off with laughter. She said that if those ferrets were any pottier she would laugh her tail off!

It's enough to make me laugh my tail off!
Back home to Doggy Scoff! We reckon that The Missus must think we have done something wrong to feed us such rubbish!

Lunchtime, the beach called us again, and as the tide was in, I enjoyed a great paddle and you know what? Holly actually paddled out a few steps as well!

How can you say this is fun? It's Wet!
Of course, I was splashing in and out of the water fetching the stick OTL had found.

Here I come!
My biggest problem was Holly. She was waiting on the beach ready to try to take the stick from me as soon as I got to the beach!

I'm waiting!
Of course, as soon as I landed there was a tussle and it wasn't until OTL took it that I could let go!

I want it, I want it, I want it!
We had a great time and I got soaked from nose to tail. Holly got her paws and tummy wet!

OTL managed another shot of the insects, there was a Six Spot Burnet and a tiny Soldier Beetle.

More Bugs!
Well, it made his day!

See you tomorrow!

Poor OTL is Suffering, Again!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Not so hot today but it is still muggy. Mind you, make the most of it 'cos I hear that later this week we have some rain heading our way! So while we are warm and tanned doggy's at the moment, we could end up being Wet and Soggy Doggy's by Friday!

Now, you all know that Old Two Legs suffers from Hayfever. well, one of the things that helps is the wearing of sun glasses. OTL has got some prescription glasses that have the ability to darken as the sun comes out.

Well, this is not good.

You see, if you look through these glasses the light is polarised and the sky looks great but when you take a photo it looks nothing like what you had seen through the glasses!

Yep, that happened this morning and what OTL saw were bands of light shining through the clouds but when you look at the picture, just grubby lines!

Maybe next time he will take the Polarising Filter with him!

Well, it looked good at the time!
At last we got to the beach but before we could get onto the beach we had to say 'Hello' to all the gang!

Just for once we all turned up at the same time!

There was Max & Oscar, then there was young Bryn and Bonny and Oscar, followed by Holly and Me!

A Woofer Convention!
We all had a 'Hello Sniff' and a chat about the local sniffs and what we had for breakfast.

Then when our owners went off, OTL and the ferrets headed for the beach!

After the beach we went off for a rabbit hunt while we waited for the ferrets to catch up.

OTL spotted a Common Carder Bee having a feast on the flowers, so, down he gets and manages a couple of shots before the bee gets fed up with waiting and is off to the next flower!

Come on, Hurry Up, I've got no time to wait for you!
Back home it was chicken for breakfast and then off to bed for a snooze!

OTL got going with the House Keeping in the ferret house and by the time he had finished it was time for him to head off to The Dentist!

OTL doesn't like the dentist, in fact if he could get someone else to go in his place he would!

Today it was him the dentist wanted to see and as soon as OTL sat in the seat, he got stabbed with a needle that was supposed to make his gum go numb, but the injection still hurt!

We won't bore you with the details but in the end he got thrown out, and then presented with a bill!

Poor OTL, a stabbing pain and then he had to open his wallet and empty in on the counter!

Back home, The Missus had agreed to take us out for our midday walk and I got into trouble for running after the rabbits!

I spent most of the walk on the lead! OTL would have understood and allowed me a little bit of fun!

As we got in, OTL turned up and we all said hello and rushed about!

I found the chew Holly had half eaten, she was going to bury it in the garden but decided I would find it, as if!

I took it upstairs and hid it under OTL's desk, after a little nibble!

Miss Snowflake was rattling the cage door 'cos she wanted come out for a run around, so, Holly and I headed off downstairs while Miss Snowflake set about beating up a couple of 'Cat Tease'!

Stand still while I beat you up!
After a little while she went off to investigate the chew I had pinched off of Holly. OTL spotted her pick it up and hide it behind the Rowing Machine, ready for a nibble later on!

I'll have this now!
Miss Snowflake decided that she really needed a snooze, so OTL picked her up and put her back in her bed.

Holly and I got back into the office and Holly marched up to my cushion bed and took the chew back, the waddled her tail off down stairs to finish 'Chewing the Chew'!

Well, that's it for today, we're going to try to mug OTL tonight.

Holly has suggested we go to see Mike & Sue 'cos they must have some grub they haven't used yet after their tour around the UK!

Bye bye for now!
