And there it was, gone!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

It has been another hot dry day down here in North Kent. Yesterday we were all on the news 'cos they decided to knock the power station chimney down and of course, everyone wanted to see it come down!

It started off with a bang half way up the chimney.

Who did that?
Then there was another bang and the bottom went up in a cloud of dust and soot!

and there it was, gone!
Old Two Legs and the camera were about two miles away, he wasn't going to get too close, just in case!

Earlier in the day we had seen a boat that we reckon was a little too close to the shore to be safe but we reckon the Captain must know what he was doing!

A Bit Too Close?
Holly reckoned that the boat was there to see the chimney come down. When we went back at lunchtime, there he was, still in the same place but stuck in the mud!

Oh Worm Holes! We're stuck until the next tide!
So, after yesterdays explosions, it has been a quiet day. We have been snoozing the day away and Freddy wanted to spend the afternoon on the beach getting 'Golden Brown' in the sun!

Holly said that he was doing well 'cos he looked like a bit of burnt toast as it was!

Just turn me over and I'll toast the other side!
Miss May had decided to play a game of 'Dig and Whizz' especially as the sand was still damp from high tide.

....and now a 'Whizz'!
This afternoon we were having a chat about April and the things she used to do with the Brambles Biscuits, like hide them under the TV stand or in The Missus card room. Freddy said that the amount she stored he was set for at least six months!

We heard from TM that our mate Maizie the Westie has headed over the Rainbow Bridge. We are all sorry to hear that and send licks and cuddles to Julie.

Tomorrow we are up early 'cos the new car is going in for it's first service, OTL reckons that it is just to check all the nuts and bolts are still done up!

I can see our walk tomorrow will be all 'Hurry Up' again!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
