Fox Holes and a Flying Holly!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again!

It's been a bit gloomy today, the weather has even turned a little colder than yesterday. That doesn't worry us in the slightest, a good run along the Sea Wall and we are warmed up and ready to go!

Toad Hall from Grain Sea Wall
Old Two Legs pointed out that a building over in Sheerness Docks was called Toad Hall, we thought that was a funny name for a building.

We were snuffling along the path when we heard a woofing from up on the hill. So, Holly and I stood there looking for the woofer, it wasn't long before this long  haired Labrador walked past us without even a look. Not very polite!

So, who is the new Woofer?
I didn't think that was the right thing to do, so, I rushed up to the top of the hill and woofed at the doggy, nothing! Didn't even turn around to see who woofed!

That's it, I will mark that dog in the 'Rude Book' and it will take some good manners to get out of there!

Holly decided she was going to have a go at flying, just like me. So, she ran at full speed down the hill and jumped. It was no good, she just couldn't get into the air. She did however have some fun when Barney came bounding down the hill and said he wanted a game of 'chase'. Holly did her side step trick and poor old Barney got all out of shape again!

Barney getting out of shape again!
Back home we had some more chicken and biscuits followed by a snooze. OTL went back to working on the computer and we went back to sleep.!

That was until my body clock woke me up saying 'Time for Walkies'!

It didn't take too long to get OTL dressed up in his coat and his boots on, off we went, woofing all the way to the car. Next stop The Farm!

Holly and her Fox Holes.
Before long we were charging around the woods looking for squirrels or rabbits or even badgers!

Holly found these two holes next to each other and said that it must be a semi detached fox hole!

We had a good sniff around but there was no sign of a fox.

I went off hunting on my own and found my own fox hole that smelt like it was in use, so, I woofed a few times but the fox stayed in bed!

I smell Foxy!
It was great fun in the woods, so many sniffs! OTL found his mystery plant again but this time he found a big one next to it, but although it had seeds and flowers on it, he still doesn't know what it is!

We will have to wait until the spring to see what happens!

But What is it?
Holly spotted some trees that had been cut down and guess what we saw in one of the logs?

It's Alfie the Elf!
You just never know what you will find in these woods!

Back home for dinner and a cuddle with OTL and the last of his shortbread!

Bye bye for now and see you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy & Holly
