The Missus goes Potty in the Big Car!

Hello woofers!

Daisy here again!

Sorry we missed yesterday, blame the Missus!

You see, we are off on holiday soon and will be driving up to Scotland in the big motor. Now, Old Two Legs, being the careful type of Two Legs suggested that TM should have a drive around in the new car to get used to driving it, just in case there was some reason that prevented OTL from driving.

'Oh No'!

That, plus a couple of other reasons not to do it were declared by TM.

After a while and on the promise that the road will be wide and safe, that TM finally agreed to drive us down to Grain Beach, providing OTL was sitting in the passenger seat!

Well, off we went and TM gently navigated the road through the village and onto the main road.

TM was saying that the car was very comfortable to drive and most responsive to the steering and it really gripped the road with its low-profile tyres and sports suspension.

Once we got past the container port the road opened out to a very wide road.

That's when it happened, TM put her foot down on the accelerator pedal and the car took off like a cat with its butt on fire!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

The long and the short of it all was TM high jacking the car and taking us for a tour around the Hoo Peninsular trying to get the car to take off!

I'm sure that there were a couple of spots where she did in fact take off, with the help of an undulating road!

By the time we got home OTL and I were feeling a little bit wobbly but at least TM was feeling comfortable driving the big car now!

Today was a more of a gentle ride 'cos TM stayed home messing about with her buckets of glue and glitter. You see tomorrow she and her mates will be meeting up at the village hall for a day of glue slapping and gassing!

Today was sunny with very little wind and I even got to go in for a deep paddle!

There were some of the lads already out and running in and out of the water chasing a rubber ball. It was a big ball and I would have never got my teeth around it, so I let them play!

Go on, splash about then!

We spotted the first bits of Laburnum flowers opening up, so it won't be long before all the butterflies will be out!

Well, that's it for today, let's hope the rain keeps away and we will be back tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
