A Smashing Time!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

It's been a very pleasant day today The Missus is in a good mood 'cos she has been gassing all day on Zooooom.

Old Two Legs has been 'Manufacturing' so he has been working away and mumbling to his self!

I, on the other paw have been catching up on my sleep, well, a girls gotta look good!

OTL was up early and headed off into town to get the windscreen replaced in the big car. It seems that a big truck spat a stone out from its tyre and it hit the windscreen right in front of where OTL sits, so that was it, no grind and stick it back, this was a complete screen replacement!

It was lucky that he had insurance and just had to pay an 'Excess' of £75.00 mind you that even made him cry!

Now, when he booked the appointment to get it all fixed, he was given a time of 09:00hr lasting until 13:00hr. So, this morning he got there at 08:45hr, just to make sure he was on time.

You can imagine what he said when the 'Engineer' said that OTL was not due in until 10:30hr!

After a 'discussion' with the engineer it was agreed that they would start on it straight away and shove it in front of another job that hadn't turned up yet!

So, to cut a long tail short, eleven came and there was OTLs windscreen, all done and looking clean and smart!

By the time he got back home I was just ready for my midday stroll along the sea wall and when I got there guess what?

No Water!

OK it had got a little closer but not close enough for a swim!

Come on water a little closer to Daisy Dog!

It was no good, the water stayed out there just looking at me, I was going to go and have a little paddle in the mud but one look from OTL changed my plans!

It's no good, I'll just have to walk instead!

OTL wasn't too impressed with my ideas but was pleased to be able to creep up on a Dragonfly that was having a breather on a bramble bush.

It must have been worn out cos it didn't move at all while OTL took six pictures using the flash light on the camera!

Don't look too bad considering it was a 50mm lens on a hand-held camera!

Back home the ferrets were still fast asleep, Miss Wendy was snoring her tail off and Eric was curled up in his cuddle cup, paws up in the air doing his 'Moon Walk' on the ceiling!

Mind you, I can't say much cos that was what I was doing most of the afternoon!

See you tomorrow.

Lu,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
