A Super Sunday.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

We love Sundays, Old Two Legs doesn't turn on the 'Work Computer' and we more attention!

Mine you, we still have to compete with the ferrets for his attention but in the end we all get a share of OTL!

First of all he has to get the ferret cage sorted out and food bowl re-filled! Much to Mr Brambles delight, he is always first into the food bowl!

Miss Snowflake gets fed a bit later and occupies her time rampaging around the bedroom and The Missus's Store Room!

We head off for our morning walk and both ferrets go into 'Snooze Mode' in the travelling cage and are still a bit dopey when OTL puts them in the ferret bag! We get down to the beach and have a run around. If the ferrets haven't got out of the bag for a wee before hand, they get out of the bag, with a bit of help from OTL, and wander around for a wee.

Then, Miss Snowflake tries to get back into the bag again!

Come on, let me back, just for a couple of minutes!
Back home we all have a game of 'Chase The Woofer', well the ferrets do! Holly and I have a trick or two ourselves, Holly stays down stairs on the sofa while I get up onto the bed and watch the ferrets trying to climb up the bed side!

Pretty soon they head off to their cage for a snooze that lasts all day, except for a wee or a poo during the day!

Lunchtime we head off to have our walk and just for fun, we try a bit of Rabbit Hunting!

We're looking for Rabbits!
Because it is Sunday, there are loads of Two Legs wandering about, so, the rabbits stay hidden in their holes and spend the day snoozing!

Today I spotted OTL putting the Red Bone in his pocket, Great, that means I can go swimming and play at Fetch The Bone!

Today, when we get down there, the tide is still well out and it would be another hour before it arrives at the shore!

Now this was not fair, I was so looking forward to a swim. You know, I rushed up and down the beach calling the water to Hurry Up but it didn't rush in any faster!

Then I had an idea, how about I go for a splash about in the mud!

I ran the idea past OTL who didn't think much of it and promised that if I got muddy, it would be the Hose Pipe for me!

Aw come on OTL, just a little paddle in the mud?
Well, needless to say, I didn't get into the mud but instead headed for home where I know a big bowl of chicken is waiting for me!

Tomorrow we have a number of workmen arriving to give OTL and 'Estimate' for repairing the hole in the ceiling and also install another heating system!

We're going to be warm this winter!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The Weekend is Here!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Well, after such a big blog yesterday we forgot to wish Archie Babe a 'Speedy Return' to good health!

It seems that our Archie is suffering from the dreaded 'Grumbly Tum Syndrome'!

Keep taking the medicine Archie Babe and get well soon!

This morning the ferrets were in a funny mood, they both tried to crawl back into the ferret bag when Old Two Legs put them on the sand!

Up on the grass path, Mr Brambles found a patch where a Stoat had been and then it had a wee. So, just like us woofers he just had to have a roll!

Then Miss Snowflake joined in and the pair of them wore the sniff out!

Don't you just love a roll!
When we got to the Rabbit Hunting Ground, Miss Snowflake came up behind me and asked how my nose was, 'OK' says I, wondering what she was up to, 'Well' says Miss Snowflake, 'If it still hurts I could give it another kiss!'

Go On, just a peck on the nose!
I've seen the size of their teeth, 'No Thanks' says I!

Lunchtime we were back down the beach and the tide was almost in, so, I just had to investigate if it was warm enough for a swim!

Mmmm, I reckon it is worth a swim!
Being on a rising tide I enjoyed running out to the Red Bone which OTL was able to throw right out and I was able to go splashing all the way out!

Yahoooooooooo!
Holly of course, she stayed on the beach and refused to go swimming at all! She did however try to ambush me as I came in but I was too fast for her!

Come to Holly!
It didn't take too long for the tide to come in and the water got deeper so I could have a little swim!

As I was coming back with the bone OTL took a picture of me and it looks like my periscope is broken!

What's happened to my Periscope?
On our way back we met up with Sandy who has taken to Holly Dog. He started off by chasing me and I gave him a woof just to keep him away but Holly stood still and planted a kiss on her nose!

Holly gets kissed!

Back home it was Ox Heart for dinner and as OTL has curry tonight, I don't expect to get too much of that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

A Marathon Blog Today!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Well, what a day! We were up a little later than normal 'cos Old Two Legs had been making a pig of himself with the shortbread and the fine bottle of malt whisky Alun had presented him with! So, in the end we left home fifteen minutes late!

We will have to issue him with a warning about this lateness, we can't have any slacking!

Down on the beach we spotted a message some Two Legs had left last night!

Wish You Were Here?
I was trying to work out what it said when I tripped up and banged my nose on a bit of wood that had been washed up onto the beach. So, there I was with a sore nose and watery eyes when Miss Snowflake came up and gave me a kiss on the nose 'Just to make it Better'!

A kiss will make it better!
Back home we got served Doggy Scoff, Yuk! Mind you after last nights King Prawns and Plawn Clackers, we still had full tummy's!

OTL got all his gear together and everyone headed for the front door. Holly and I knew we weren't going to get an invitation 'cos they had been talking about visiting Rochester Castle and to be honest, we didn't fancy having a wander around the castle grounds 'cos we wouldn't be allowed off the lead or in the building!

I hate it when a place is anti-dog!

Rochester Castle.
The Missus and Alun decided they really didn't fancy climbing all over the castle and sneaked off for a wander around the grounds and ended up getting rained on!

OTL, Glynis and Abby stayed inside the castle and kept dry!

OTL was giving Abby some pointers on the camera operation and also composition. Glynis was standing by an arch and OTL showed how just turning the camera at an angle created a 'Fashion Shot'!

Fashion Model!
Abby was trying to take 'secret' pictures of people and of course OTL, so, OTL started taking pictures of her as well!

We won't show you the ones where she was pulling faces or sticking her tongue out or even pointing her finger at OTL and telling him where he could keep his camera!

Gottcha!
Inside the castle there was loads of 'Frames within Frames'

Frames!
The castle was very high and even looked down on Rochester Cathedral!

Rochester Cathedral
Inside the castle you can see the well and the different floors where they ate and slept and in one room there was the 'Robing Room' which we now call the Loo.

It's a good thing that OTL has a bad sense of smell!

A View from the Dining Hall!
The spiral staircases were steep and the steps were a bit of a climb!

Going Up!
Looking from the top of the castle you could see the Russian Submarine moored up on the River Medway.

Anyone know the way back to Severomorask?
When they all came back we had a bit of lunch and then waved Bye Bye to Alun, Glynis and Abby as they headed off for home.

OTL went up to do some work but Holly and I had decided we wanted our midday walk so the work had to wait!

Down on the beach the tide was on it's way in so I had a paddle, followed by a dip and I even tried to take a tennis ball away from a Spaniel called Poppy!

No chance, I couldn't get it in my mouth and Poppy soon got it away from me!

Lost to a Big Mouth!
We wandered down the Sea Wall and the tide raced in and it got deep enough for me to have a swim and a chase of the red bone!

Me being a Russian Sub!
I called out to Holly to come and have a swim 'cos the water was rather warm, Holly on the other paw said that I was a 'Right Soppy Woofer' for wanting to get soaking wet!

Wot a Soppy Woofer!
I came out of the water and tried to get Holly to have a game of 'Chase' 'cos she had been very patiently sitting on the sand while I had my swim.

All of a sudden we heard 'Let's Play Chase Girls'!

We spun around to see this big lump of a Bozo thundering up the beach!

Yo Girls! My name is Doug!
I must admit, I was a bit scared to begin with but we soon found out that we could run faster, turn faster and generally run circles around Doug!

Come on Slow Coach!
We ran behind OTL and watched Doug come steaming up the beach. We were laughing at the way his face seemed to flop up and down as he ran!

Look, a Skin Changer!
He got called away by his owner and we headed for home as well. I got a good rub down back in the car and OTL spent so long drying me that Holly got a bit jealous and asked OTL to give her a rub down as well, even though she wasn't wet!

Wot a Soppy Puppy!

Back home we had some fun with OTL's new camera and some of the programs or Aps.

This one we thought was fun, OTL's 'Work Station'!

Work Station!

Phew! This has been a long blog today, so many pictures, so many words!

We are off to see if the Doggy Scoff has changed into a big juicy steak and of course, to say 'Hello' to the fairies behind the sofa!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Today OTL gets Engineered!

Hi Woofers!

We're here again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Young Abby was going to come out for a walk with us this morning but at the last moment decided that bed was preferable 'cos there was the threat of rain!

By the time we had got down onto the Sea Wall it was all sun shine and fun. It makes a good change from the weather we have had over the last few days!

I just Love the Sun Shine!
It's amazing how everything changes for the better and it makes us all smile!

Sunshine is Ggggreat!
We met up with a Bozo and even he was smiling!

Yeah! This is the Life!
We got left at home while Old Two Legs and everyone else went off to the Royal Engineers Museum for a visit. We didn't mind too much 'cos we were not that keen on visiting. Well, you know how much they would get upset if we did a wee on their parade ground!

When they all came back we were off down the Sea Wall again and you know what, That Abby is as bad as OTL for snapping us on our walks, I mean, every time we looked up from a sniff, click, click, click!

She's doing it again!
We met up with Oscar and Bonnie who had been for a splash about in the sea, lucky woofers!

Wot? No Ferrets?
Bonnie was getting a bit tired after her 'Deep Paddle' so she said 'Hello' to OTL then cuddled up to Alun!

Wot a Tart!
Abby was still clicking away at everything she saw and was panicking about missing a shot of Holly doing a wee!

I mean, there is no privacy when she's about!

Oh My Gawd! I missed that one!

We had a super evening mugging everyone for their Chinese Take-a-Way, especially the King Prawns and the Plawn Clackers!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

We Got Visitors!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Guess Wot?

We got invaded by Alun & Glynis, Old Two Legs cousin and Abi, their grand daughter and OTL's second cousin, on his mothers side!

They have all come to visit for a few days and have some fun with us!

This morning the first thing we noticed was how the storm yesterday had washed the beach clean of all the muck that was left there!

Hey! That looks clean!
Holly and I enjoyed a super game of 'Chase the Stick' all along the beach!

Can't catch me!
We were back home and soon well into a big bowl of Ox Heart before our visitors arrived, well, we don't want them pinching our breakfast!

Lunchtime we all went down the Sea Wall again and Alun pretended he was sinking in the sand but we knew he couldn't do that so we all called him a Soppy Two Legs and Abi managed to get a photo of him being silly!

Going down for the third time!
Mind you, he did try to climb along the Sea Wall at wave level and ended up with a shoe full of water, well, it was High Tide!

'ere, me socks wet!
Then he tried to look all nautical and pointed out to sea saying that it was the Atlantic but we knew it was the North Sea!

That way is America, I think!
We met up with our fisherman friend but because he had eaten all his sandwiches, Holly wouldn't allow a stroke!

I told you before, No Food, No Strokes!
OTL spotted what we think is a Turnstone in winter plumage, but OTL says it is a bit early for Winter plumage!

Well, it might be a Turnstone!

We had a good afternoon and evening telling tall tales and laughing about the time OTL got a boot full of peat and water when he and Alun were last up in Scotland!

Alun is a very good story teller, mind you, OTL can tell a good tale as well!

Tomorrow Abi says she will be up and ready for a walk with us and the ferrets, however, she normally only gets up at eleven, which is no good for us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's a Windy Wet Day and it's still August!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, The Wet Bunch, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wot a day! It started off on our morning walk. It was overcast and a bit of cloud but when we got to the beach it started, rain spots, getting bigger all the time!

Miss Snowflake was the first to get a rain drop on the nose, but as soon as it landed, she was off at a trot towards the car!

Come on, Home, the rain is coming!
Mr Brambles felt the next drop and was off like a rocket!

Mr Brambles doing a Quick Start, (Wot a Loverly Mover)!
Back home we enjoyed some Doggy Scoff! Well, we didn't really enjoy it, but as there was nothing else on offer and being starving we just had to hold our nose and swallow!

Lunchtime Old Two Legs got our rain coats out and we were amazed at how 'Weather Beaten' they looked!

We reckon that we will have to save up our pocket money to get some new coats before winter sets in!

When we got down to the beach it was 'Horizontal Rain' coming in off the sea, plus the high tide as well made it look like winter!

Big waves and an 'On Shore' wind!
It looked pretty scary to me and I must say that when OTL told me to stay away from the water I did sort of agree with him!

No swimming today!
Holly was complaining about the water getting blown into her ears and spent most of the time shaking her head and wiggling her tail to get the water off her!

This is not funny!
When we got up to 'The Point' as OTL calls it, both Holly and I decided that the waves were getting too big and we were heading for home, PDQ!

Getting Bigger and Wetter!
We got to the first turn off and did a sharp right hand turn and legged it up the path towards the car park!

I've had enough today!
When we got to the top of the path we spotted a Spaniel type huddled down on the path, 'Wet 'n' Windy Innit' he said and we both agreed with him. Then he was off 'cos his owner was calling him!

This is really just too wet for doggies!
Back in the car, OTL gave us a rub down and then it was off home for another rub down with a warm towel that The Missus had been hanging up in the airing cupboard.

A Damp Doggy!
With a bit of luck we will be able to mug some food tonight from OTL, especially as it was his idea to go out walkies!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles, (The Wet Bunch)!
