Moat Digging for Experts!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Diddly Daisy & Happy Holly back again!

We have had a super day today!

First of all we had our normal fun and games overnight, all this pushing and shoving to get the best sleeping spot. Last night it was 'Let's Shove The Missus Out' time! We were all wriggling and shoving and in the end she threatened to throw us all out of bed, including Old Two Legs!

This morning we were up good and early, mainly 'cos I wanted a wee, so, I did what I normally do, stand bye the door and whimper. TM finally got up and let us out. You know it was still dark at five thirty!

Back to bed for a cuddle with OTL before our morning run around the field.

We didn't go out until after the Shepherd had been around to count the sheep and the lambs, just in case any had wandered off in the night. We didn’t want to put off the sheep dog from doing his work!

After breakfast we went down to the beach! The tide was right out and there was miles of sandy beach to run on!

Miles of Sand!

It was just 'Absolutely Super Duper Running Conditions' a gentle breeze and the sun was hiding behind the clouds!

Chase me, I'm The Last Bus!
We chased each other, then we chased OTL, then OTL chased us and then we chased the Gulls!

Wheeeeeeeeeee!
Then Holly found a shell and was playing 1966, that was when we won the World Cup and all Holly keeps calling is ' On Me Head Bobby!'

Come on, On Me Head!
After that we made some sand castles and had fun digging the moat!

Dig it Deep!
We just wish we could have this sort of beach at home instead of the sticky mud the Wormy Men dig in!

Get Out of My Way, A Flying Puppy Coming Through!
We were exhausted by the time we got back to the caravan, so exhausted that we didn't even have time to chew our 'Special Tooth Cleaning Chew' 'cos we both fell asleep!

A bit later we had a wander around the field with OTL, checking out the sniffs and saying 'Hello' to the new lambs.

Lamb Chop & Donna Kebab
Tonight we have got chicken, we can smell it cooking in the oven. Not sure what OTL is having, but we will mug a bit you can be sure!

Later it is a cuddle on the cushions with OTL while snaffling a bit of shortbread!

Life just couldn't be better!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Something to Sleep On!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again!

We had some fun last night, it involved Old Two Legs and the amount of bed space he requires to get a good nights sleep!

It starts like this.........The Missus decides she is going to bed and stomps off down the caravan closing the door behind her..........then she shouts to OTL to 'Turn the TV Down!'

She always says that, even at home, OTL being a bit deaf, (Because of TM always shouting at him) can't hear the TV properly, so he turns it off and sits there mumbling all sorts of curses!

After all that, he decides to go to bed as well, so first of all we go for a walk around the field so we can have our 'Good Night Wee' and a little woof at the sheep, just to remind them we are here.

Back in the caravan, OTL wanders off to the wash room so he can have a wee and get undressed.

That's when we pounce!

We take a flying leap and jump up on the bed, Holly gets down the end where his feet normally are and I spread myself out across his pillow.

Back comes OTL but now he is in the dark 'cos he has turned out the light in the wash room and doesn't turn on the one in the bedroom 'cos he is scared about waking TM up. ( She gets cross when she is woken up!)

He now climbs into bed, first of all he gets too close to Holly who growls at him saying 'Shove off and find your own space!

He then crawls up the bed to where I'm spread out, finds me there and tries to move me off the pillow.

I give a low growl as well saying ' Go find your own spot, this is mine!

At this point we all get into a discussion about the bed and who gets the first choice of sleeping place. OTL reckons that Holly and I should got back to our own bed, we reckon OTL should try sleeping in our beds, for a change!

After a while we all find a spot that we feel comfortable sleeping in and drop off.

That is until one of us rolls over and squeezes the other two out of their sleeping spot.

Then we all have a 'Grumble' and go back to sleep!

This Caravan Holiday Thing is a barrel of laughs!

See you tomorrow, we should be off to the beach for some serious hole digging!

Bye bye.

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Pack the Bucket and Spade, We're Off!!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here!

Sorry the Blog is late but we had a very busy day. You see, Old Two Legs and The Missus have been rushing around like Blue Tailed Flies today (Yesterday) packing stuff and shoving it in the caravan. They were either clearing space indoors for decorating or maybe doing a runner 'cos OTL has won the Pools!

Well, he's too tight to do the Pools and never buys Lottery Tickets so that option was out. Then it dawned on us, we're off on Holiday!

So it was, all the holiday stuff got shoved in and OTL packed up his camera gear and even our beds were stored in the caravan as well!

Well that was it, midday arrived and we were just about to leave when TM says, 'Look at that wet patch in the garden'

OTL had a look and the 'wet patch' was water leaking from under a sort of lid in the concrete labeled 'Inspection Cover'

So, OTL 'Inspected' it.

Pheeewwww! Wot a stink when he lifted the cover, horrible looking water was about to pour out and we won't tell you what was floating there!

A telephone call and a couple of hours later two lads turned up in a big van and proceeded to poke rods and hose pipes into the hole.

In the end it appeared to be OK and OTL was crying as he wrote out a cheque for the work done!

We wiped his eyes and his nose and stopped him crying, hitched the caravan up and put him in the car.

Then we were off!

Now, if you want to see where we are go to this link http://www.bellfield-farm.co.uk/

Just to show off, OTL took the photos that are used on the web site, except the one at the zoo!

So, we will be uploading pictures of us having fun over the next week or so, except the days OTL has to work!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy & Hollyday!!

A Trip to see The Boys

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again.

We had such a good time yesterday, running and chasing about in the New Park.

When I got home I had terrible pains in my legs and couldn't walk properly! So, I had a cuddle with Old Two Legs and from time to time I had a little whimper.

OTL, remembering the problems he had with his legs when he had climbed up his mountains in Scotland, decided what I should try is some sugar!

Knowing how much I love chocolate, he gave me half a square of his Fruit & Nut!

That soon sorted it out, my legs stopped hurting and I was able to walk again!

Trouble is chocolate isn't good for me so he is going in search of some sort of Glucose tablet for the future!

We went out this morning for our walk but when we got to the start, there was this notice, stuck in the middle of the path!

Just so they can play with the Beach!
We didn't reckon that was fair, so off we went, a bit further along the Sea Wall, before OTL let us off the lead!

No super Birdy shots today but Holly and I soon found a stick we could argue over!

First Holly got it, then I got it away from her, then she got it away from me................then we both got it and had a Tug of War!

............and I say it's Mine!
Good fun and super sun shine as well!

Lunch time came and we were off to do some deliveries but this time it was The Missus who was driving and OTL stayed at home!

We met The Boys from school and went off to the Lakes!

Great fun running around and having a paddle in the water, but not a 'Deep Paddle' I'll leave that for when I'm with OTL!

We even saw some rabbits to chase, but they were too far away to get a good chase, I suppose it was more of a 'Token Chase' just to show them who's in charge!

Back home for a Chicken Dinner and a cuddle with OTL before having a 'Pre-Sleep Snooze'!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Making Sand Castles with Pebbles!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly back with some strange goings on!

Remember we told you about the big digger that turned up yesterday? Well, today we have found out what they are doing.

First of all the car park was divided in two by the orange fence and when we got to where we normally start our walk, we couldn't!

They had fenced that off as well!

There they were digging up the beach and moving it along to another spot!

Digging it up here!
They had two truck things that were racing up and down the Sea Wall and tipping the pebbles onto another part of the beach!

Sort of 'Levelling the Beach' so Old Two Legs can get up and down the beach!

...and putting it down here!
We had to go a different route to have our walk and OTL had to keep us on our lead for a while, but it was worth it in the end 'cos we went right up to the Power Station and back again!

OTL was enjoying the walk especially when he saw the Green Woodpecker that he had not seen for a while!

A Green Woody!
Then he was creeping through the bushes and stopped and started to take pictures, that was until the bird flew away!

It's Him Again!
We think that he is getting better with that Kestrel!

OTL took us out with him and while he was doing the deliveries, we had fun woofing at the people in the office windows!

After all that, off we went to the New Park!

We had fun chasing the ball and had a quick paddle in the Swimming Hole.

We saw a funny sight, at first we thought it was a Sea Monster creeping up on us.......

Sea Monster
Then it surfaced, it was an Under Water Labrador!

Under Water Labrador!
We were mightily impressed with that, just how did he hold his breath that long!

Off we went around the 'Orchard Walk' and Holly and I were doing our 'Road Craft' exercise by sitting on the kerb until OTL said we could go across the road.

Us being Good Girls!
Holly kept on asking OTL to take her picture 'cos she said that she looked 'Good' today!

Looking Good!
I said that she looked like a Tart!

That's when the fight started!

When we got home we were absolutely whacked, so we crashed out until dinner time.

Chicken & Biscuits!

So, another super sunny day and loads of fun out with OTL.

The Missus is still playing with her iPad, I think she will be playing with that for ages yet!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly (A Tart but Still Looking Good!)

It's TM Birthday Today!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here with you on The Missus's Birthday!

We won't say how old she is but she ain't going to see sixteen again!

Early this morning we jumped up on the bed to give her a 'Happy Birthday Lick' but she had got up before we had opened our eyes!

We know why, 'cos we helped Old Two Legs set it up on the coffee table in the lounge.

We have been saving up our pocket money and OTL has helped a bit and we got her an iPad 3! (She has been on about this for ages!)

So, there she was doing the Fiddly Diddly with the thing and even ignored us when we came down for our early morning wee!

Holly had to woof at her to open the door!

We went out with OTL down to the Sea Wall and were met by a big crane type digger in the car park and a load of plastic fencing along the path!

New Plastic Fencing

You can dig big holes with this!
Not sure what they are going to do but we did see the men having a lunch break before finishing for the day!

Nice spot for some lunch Bert!
We also saw the Survey People wandering around the beach with their GPS Thingy Wotsit on their back!

Take Me To Your Leader!

They looked like men form outer space!

We left them to it and went home to get on with some work, well, OTL was working, we just snoozed!

In the afternoon we went down to The Forest and spent some time hunting squirrels, not that we found any!

Not a Sniff to be had!
We did notice that the leaves are starting to pop out of the buds, so it won't be long before the squirrels can spend all summer hiding in the trees, then we will have to find something else to chase!

New leaves for squirrels to hide in!
Holly went looking for Badgers but we have never sniffed any in this Forest, but there's no harm in looking!

Here Badgers, come to Holly!
That was it, back home to TM to find her still playing with her iPad, we are taking bets on how long it will take for her to put it down and do something else.

Like cook our dinner!

We had to make do with tinned Doggy Dins tonight!

Sun shiny day tomorrow, well so the weather man says!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

We Sight The Buoy Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here!

Who forgot to turn the clocks forward last night? We didn't 'cos most of the clocks here are automatically controlled and jump forward and backwards on their own, trouble is, they don't warn us they are going to do it! So we wake up thinking it is early, about seven, our normal 'Wake Up Time' only to find it's eight and we are late!

Why not leave it as it is and if you want to get up early to milk the cows, get up early, leave the rest of us in bed, if it's dark we'll just turn on the light!

So, late, we headed for the Sea Wall, the sun was still in bed, (his clock is not automatic, just perpetual!), the mist was down again and it was, chilly!

We spotted The Buoy on the beach, he had been up stream to see the Rochester Bridge and have a wander around The Docks.  Now he had parked himself on the beach and was waiting for the sun to come out so he can do a bit of sun bathing to improve his tan!

Waiting for the sun!

Then OTL spotted the Cable Barge, he says that it takes out loads of heavy cable and 'Knits Together' all the Wind Powered Generators' in the Thames Estuary. He knows this 'cos he did some work on the vessel some time ago when they were doing the last lot of generators!

A Big Knitting Machine!
OTL decided he wasn't going to wash the caravan again in this weather 'cos he always gets wet when he is sloshing the water about and while it's OK in the sun, in the cold it gets uncomfortable for him!

So, this morning we stayed in doors, had a snooze and watched the replay if the F1 race.

Shame Button had everything go wrong for him but Hamilton got third and it was good to see Sauber come in second. Holly reckoned that there was so much water there they should have used boats instead of cars!

Our afternoon walk was still misty and a bit chilly but we did see the Buoy again and he was just coming back from a swim!

Just been for a swim!
The water was splashing up against the Sea Wall, so Holly and I stayed away from the wall 'cos we didn't want to get too wet!

What happened to Summer?

Back home for a warm cuddle with OTL and a Chicken Dinner!

See you tomorrow and let's hope the sun shines or we will be going away with a grubby caravan and The Missus won't like that, will she Precious!

No she won't!

Daisy & Holly

A Pretend Holiday with OTL in the Caravan

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again.

When we went out this morning we couldn't see the sea! Old Two Legs said it was there but we couldn't see it anywhere!

It was Misty Everywhere!

The sun was up and shining down on us but it had trouble getting through the mist!

So we had a wander along, woofing at the sea but no one woofed back!

Is there any Woofin body there?

Even the breakwater seemed to fade into the mist!

Gone into the Mist!

Back home we had a nibble for breakfast then set about going On Holiday.

We had packed our nibbles and a drink and a sun lounger and our sun glasses plus some sun block!

Off we marched into the caravan, OTL opened all the blinds and the roof blinds as well.

We pretended we were on holiday and Holly had a snooze on the seats while I jumped up onto the bed for my snooze.

It was a bit noisy 'cos OTL was sloshing suds all over the roof and washing all the Winter muck off the van.

He said there was a load of pigeon poo and some sea gull poo as well.

He was working hard all morning, just on the roof and satellite dish!

We asked him to stop at lunch time so he can take us down the Sea Wall again. The mist was still there but at least the tide had come in, so we saw the sea!

Back home it was back to work for OTL while we rested on top of the cushions and woofed at anyone who passed the window!

It wasn't until late that he finally finished the walls and the front and the back. It doesn't look too bad but he's got to have another go at the roof 'cos the bird poo won't all come off!

We went out again and this time it was a run around the New Park, we stayed away from the Swimming Hole and instead chased a new ball we brought with us!

Pesky Ball Keeps Running Away!

We also met up with a Wire Haired Fox Terrier called Daisy!

Do You Know My Mum?

We had a chat and said that our mum was a Wire Haired Fox Terrier and asked Daisy if she knew her but she said she didn't but wasn't it good that we both had the same name!

Off we went again, running and chasing the ball, in the end I was exhausted and had to have a lie down for a while, well, it gave Holly and OTL time to catch up!

Just resting!

Back home to a Doggy Din's Dinner which we may finish a bit later if we don't manage to mug OTL for his dinner!

F1 Race tomorrow, so we are looking forward to watching that.

Poor OTL has to have another go at the caravan, so we may have another 'Pretend' holiday, just to keep him company!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Lost Buoy on the Beach

Hello Woofers,

It's Daisy & Holly back again!

Another sunny day, I reckon that we have skipped the Spring and gone straight onto Summer!

We have even been sun bathing in the garden, before our morning walk!

Down on the Sea Wall, we saw the Wheatear again perched on top of the bushes singing away.

We had a bit of a shock, there we were having our normal sniff by the Sea Wall End when up pops this Two Legs and says Boo!

What you doing Mister?

Holly jumped back and did one of her 'Special Woofs' but the Two Legs just laughed and carried on ferreting around in the stones!

Then, just along a bit, exactly where 'The Barrel' had been, lurking behind the wave breaker was...............another barrel thingy!

Another One!!!

Old Two Legs had a closer look and declared it was a 'Marker Buoy' that had lost it's bit of rope to keep it in one position on the sea.

Bumpy Bumpy down the beach!

OTL had an even  closer look, then kicked it, and it rolled down the beach, bumping a couple of times and landed close to where the mud starts.

Bye bye Buoy!
There it sat waiting for the tide to come back in!

When we came back at lunch time, it had gone! Washed away on the tide to join The Barrel and maybe the tree on a trip around the world!

Gone!
OTL was in luck, we saw some Long Tailed Tits and a Kestrel.

Another Long Tailed Tit Looking The Other Way!
So OTL was happy, even if the pictures leave a lot to be desired!

It's That Kestrel Again!

Our planned 'Adventure' had to be put off 'cos OTL had to do some 'Manufacturing' this afternoon, so we took the opportunity to catch up on our snoozing!

Tomorrow we are going to help OTL wash the caravan, well he washes and we sit inside telling him he missed a bit!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Spring is here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again!

What a super sunny morning again! The Weather Man on the TV says there will be no rain for at least a week!

Now that's OK by us, but Old Two Legs looked at the calender and said that could mean a wet Easter!

He is such a Ray Of Sunshine, sometimes!

I thought I saw Pirates sailing up the Thames this morning and stopped to take a good look.

My 'What The....?' Dance

Holly calls it my 'What The ........? Dance'. She is jealous 'cos she can't stay standing as long as I can.

She keeps falling over!

Well, the pirate ship turned out to be a Tanker on it's way up river.

Holly was wandering along the Wall and sniffed at the branch with the sea weed on it, 'Hey' she says, 'You would have thought this tree would have decided where it wants to be and put roots down by now!'

I'm sure I've seen this before!'

I reckon that the tree was on a 'World Tour' and only stopped here for the Winter and now it was working it's way up North!

A bit later we mugged OTL for some of his lunch and reminded him of his promise to take us to the New Park. So, off we went, in the car, singing our driving songs and blowing raspberry's at the lorry drivers!

We were off chasing our ball as soon as we got there and as it was a warm sunny day, we went to the 'Swimming Hole' to see who was around.

Not Much Further!

It was fun having a paddle and OTL was throwing our ball in the water so I could paddle out to get it.

All of a sudden a big dog came bounding into the water and pinched the ball!  He called himself 'The Phantom Ball Nicker', that was until his owner put him on a lead and took him away!

Phantom Ball Nicker!

That sorted him out!

Finally, OTL threw the ball just a little too far and we lost the ball as it drifted into the deep water where I don't go!

After that we had a long run around the path OTL calls 'The Orchard', it's about two and a half miles around the path and Holly and me were playing 'Chase' and 'Tail Twisting'.

High Speed Tail Grab & Twist!
We were so worn out we just had to have a sit down half way around!

As we were sitting on the bench OTL took our pictures and showed us what he had taken, I was amazed, my fur had grown and was looking a mess!

Not my best side?

I decided that it was time I had a hair cut and Holly said she looked a bit scruffy as well!

Shampoo & Set needed!

Mind you, that didn't stop Holly getting a kiss from a passing Westie as we headed back to the car!

Holly can be a right Tart sometimes!

Holly The Tart!

I must admit, we slept most of the way back and I've spent most of the evening snoozing as well!

So it's bye bye for now and we'll see you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy & Holly (Self Confessed Scruff Bag & A Tart!)

OTL visits the Two Legs Vet!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again!

We had a good laugh today. You see Old Two Legs has reached the ripe old age of sixty five. With this age come loads of things, like a special Pass that lets him ride on the buses for free after everyone has gone to work!

Another 'Freebie' is he can get an injection that is supposed to keep away flu germs.

So, off he went to the Two Leg Vet Lady Nurse person who stabbed him with a needle that was the size of a broom handle and just as sharp!

According to OTL of course!

We said that he should have got some Worming Tablets at the same time, just to make sure!

Holly and me called him a 'Wimp' especially when he said he should go and have a lie down for an hour or two to get over it!

No way! We wanted our Walkies!

Off we went to the Sea Wall!

As soon as I got onto the beach I found an Egg Sack ball, these are the egg cases of the Common Whelk, and we got loads of Common Whelks here in North Kent!

Look Wot I Got!

Then of course, Holly just had to poke her nose into what I was doing, that ended up with a tussle over what was left of the Egg Sacks!

Sort of Salty Rice Krispys

Back home to allow OTL some R&R after his major operation!

After lunch, OTL had to deliver a big box of bits, so, we offered our services as Guard Dogs on the delivery van, sort of 'Riding Shotgun' for the OTL stage coach!

After the hazardous journey around the town we decided a little squirrel hunting was in order, providing Holly keeps her voice down. We don't want any trouble like yesterday!

A creep through The Forest was a bit disappointing,  we saw a couple of squirrels but they were high in the trees and showed no signs of coming down to earth where decent people live!

Towards the end of the walk, I spotted one bouncing along the ground. Trouble was, it was over the fence in Private Land which had a big notice on the tree that said 'Keep Out'!

I Spy With My Little Eye!

It's a good job they don''t expect us puppies to be able to read!

I got under the fence and went like a flash of light after the squirrel, it didn't help my 'Silent Approach' to have OTL shouting 'Come Back' over my shoulder!

Well, the squirrel got away, I hurt my back getting under the wire and OTL had to lift it up when I came back!

Holly and I decided that squirrel hunting is just too much like hard work, so we had a game of 'Pirates' on a big old tree that had fallen over!

The Good Ship Nutkin Sails Again!

We had fun singing Sea Songs and shouting things like ' Shiver Me Timbers' and 'Yo Ho Me Hearties' and then we pretended that OTL was a Treasure Ship and we chased him all the way to the Car Park!

Back home for a good afternoon snooze while OTL played about on the computer doing 'Important' things!

Tonight it's Chicken!

Not sure what is happening tomorrow, maybe another 'Adventure' but this time down the New Park, if we're lucky!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly
