Well, no rain today, so far! It's been one of those 'Dull Days' We didn't see the sun come up, it sorts of got near to the horizon then hid behind the clouds!
If we looked up into the sky all we saw was clouds, a bit boring really!
The fun started as soon as the ferrets went back to bed.
You see, Old Two Legs had a new central heating system put in and last year it sprung a very small leak. OTL being OTL put a plastic box under the boiler to catch the water and immediately forgot all about it!
That was until we went on holiday and he made a note to get 'The Man' in to mend it.
So, today the day the Boiler Man Came to Call!
OTL thought it may be just a quick wangle with a spanner and it would be fixed, just goes to show how little he knows!
After almost stripping out the guts of the boiler the leak was finally identified, a rubber seal was leaking!
A great deal of cleaning and inspecting finally got it to the point of 'No Drips'.
The boiler was still under guarantee, in fact it runs out next year, so contact was made with the 'Help Line' where we had to wait twenty minutes before a human answered our telephone call. Then, all withing ten minutes an appointment was made for an engineer to call next week!
So, most of the morning OTL spent up in the loft with 'The Man' trying to learn what all the bits were!
Fat chance!
So that was it, boiler finished and now it was walkies time.
A little boring, didn't see anyone, no woofers, no Two Legs but no rain!
The Missus borrowed the small car to get a letter posted off and came back saying that the back tyre was losing air pressure.
Seeing that OTL had pumped up the tyre last week he decided to take it to the Tyre Men and see what was wrong.
A nail was what was wrong, it was stuck in the tyre in a place where they couldn't mend it, so, out comes a new tyre and it gets installed and the punctured one thrown onto the rubbish pile!
So, today has been an assault on OTL's wallet and next week is promising to be even worse!
Never mind, the weekend is here!
