The best way of spending Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly. Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It was a good feeling we had this morning, waking up knowing there wasn't much work to be done today. Just a few bits of paper to file, the cages to clean, then the rest of the day is ours!

First thing this morning both ferrets were up, bashing away at the cage door and this morning it was Miss Wendy who won first place to come out with us for our morning walk around the football field!

Normally Miss Wendy doesn't bother to come out, preferring to snooze before coming out later for her rampage around the house with Eric.

It was a little damp under paws and she managed to get a wet tummy, just like Eric did the other day.

We got back home and headed off to the bedroom to wait for Old Two Legs to get the chores done.

We tried to get some snooze time in but Wendy kept scratching on the bottom of the bedroom door, keeping us awake and winding Holly Chops up!

Wendy kept calling out that she was running all over the landing while Holly was stuck in the bedroom!

It all finished when Wendy got a little tired and fell asleep in the 'Pinny Box' and Eric headed back to the cage for a wee and OTL locked him in the cage!

Lunchtime Eric was the first up to get his harness on and was banging on the cage to be let out before we had even got there!

Mind you, he got out of the traveling cage and stayed in OTL's arms until we got to the beach where he started to dig a hole in the sea shells that are all over the beach!

Just watch me dig a hole, one, two, threeeeeee!
Now he would have dug a big hole were it not for Holly and I coming back up the beach to see what he was doing and having a sniff at the hole!

Because Holly and I are a little clumsy when we dig holes, like kicking all the sand and sea shells all over the place, Eric decided to leave us to it and headed for the sea wall!

It's warmer up here!
We spotted a squall coming in from the East and decided there was just enough time to get back to the car before it caught up with us!

It will get better by next week!
We met up with Fred, he is one of the keepers of the sea front and he loves riding around on the grass cutter. He and OTL were discussing the lack of moths in the moth traps and saying that it was a bad year for moths so far.

We know that OTL was thinking that if the grass and wild flowers were left alone there would be more insects and stuff on the wild flowers and then more moths!

Maybe they will learn in time!

Enough of this grumbling, we are off to watch a DVD.

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
