How to get a ferret to take his medicine!

 Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Good news, Old Two Legs was on his knees this morning investigating the ferrets overnight poo pile.

He separated Wendy's poo from Erics and then carefully collected Erics poo for close study. Now it is not back to being fully 'Ferret Poo' but the greenish hue had gone only to be replaced with a sort of lumpy brown bits.

Now, to an expert studier of ferret poo that tells OTL that Eric is on the mend. Couple that with fact that Eric becomes a frantic squirmy little ferret when the said medicine was being administered is also a good sign!

This afternoon Eric was given his medicine again and had to be forcibly restrained while the syringe full was squirted down his throat. After which, OTL gave Eric a reassuring cuddle only to be given a nip by Eric which produced a squirt of blood from OTL's chin.

That was Eric getting his own back!

Eric didn't go down to the vets 'cos Eric is getting better but the medicine on the shelf should last about ten days. Now, will Eric try ti nip OTL again?

We will have to see!

It was a little windy down on the sea front but the sky was blue and the clouds fluffy and I would have dipped my claw in the water except that the tide was out and there was only mud on the shore!

Yep! That's Southend over there, you can sniff the kebab shops from here!

The leaves are slowly changing, very slowly. Mind you, the Groundsman has been out with the grass cutting machine and is slowly cutting all the grass and mixing up all the sniffs which is very confusing!

I mean, there you are snoffing one sniff that suddenly is mixed up with another!

It's better in the woods cos you don't get so confused and on top of that, they can't get the grass cutter between the trees!

Someone said they saw a squirrel in the trees but we haven't seen it yet, if it is here we hope it isn't as rude as Archie Babes squirrels!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
