Hello Woofers!
Daisy,
Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!
Sorry
it's a bit late today, Old Two Legs enjoyed a late lunch today then settled
back in his chair and fell asleep. That means everything is a couple of hours
late!
Now, what
have we been doing today?
First
thing this morning we were out on the football field and what did we see in the
distance?
Four
black Labrador Woofers giving us the 'Hairy Eyeball' but we did notice that
they didn't come charging up to us. They saw OTL and decided to get on with
their sniffing and leave us alone!
That'll
learn them!
Lunchtime
was fun. The temperature had dropped a little and there were clouds to stop the
sun beating directly onto us, so, Eric climbed up the cage wall and taking the
cage door in both paws, gave it a good rattle!
That's
his way of telling OTL he wants to come out!
So, off
we go leaving Wendy curled up in her 'Cuddle Cup' gently snoring her tail off!
It's amazing
just how loudly she snores, the whole cage shakes and rattles once she gets
going!
Off we
went and would you believe it? It started to rain as soon as we got out of the
car.
Eric got
down onto the football field but as soon as two rain drops landed on his nose,
he was back up OTL's leg and straight into the Ferret Bag!
What a
wimp!
It wasn't too bad and it took ten minutes before the rain stopped and he got out again!
A ten Minute Squall!
We were
on the sandy beach having a dig when a Two Legs stopped and wanted to know all
about ferrets and Eric and of course, 'Can I Take a Photo?' I mean, just why
does he get all the attention? Anyone would think that we don't deserve our
photos taken, we look cute? Well I do, it's just Holly gets a little 'Gruff'
when she finds they don't have any food!
Eric enjoyed himself, diving in and out of the grass and jumping out at Holly and shouting 'BOOOOO!'
A Ferret on the hunt for a Woofer!
When Holly didn't react, Eric decided that it would be fun to run up behind me and give my legs a nip, just like Freddy used to do if we were not going fast enough!
