Monty Gets Out!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty!

Another bright and sunny day, well after we got the morning out of the way! We went out with May and Eric and of course May did her normal trick, you know she is getting as bad as Freddy in needing a carry!

Old Two Legs has been getting all his 'Holiday Stuff' ready, like food for the ferrets and bedding and blankets and he has been storing tennis balls for Holly and I  and on top of that he has got one of those 'Throwing Sticks that can hurl a tennis ball miles further than OTL can throw!
So, we shall have some fun on the beach with that new toy!

Lunchtime saw Miss Wendy and Monty sharing a walk with us!

Is there normally all this green?

Because Wendy can't be trusted yet, OTL had to bring Monty along in a small travelling cage meant for rabbits or pussy cats!

Don't tell me.........she's behind me!

He was very good about it and managed not to do a poo or wee on the blanket!

OTL had fitted a harness that used to belong to Brambles and Monty even had Brambles name tag on there as well!

Needless to say, Miss Wendy still had a go at chasing Monty off but OTL hanging onto the leads managed to prevent Wendy from actually landing a thump!

That was one long hill full of sniffs and Monty pinched most of them!

Monty was suitably impressed and started off walking behind OTL. That didn't last too long 'cos no matter which way OTL went, Monty would want to go the other way!

That is typically ferret behaviour!

We also got the 'Carry Me Daddy' but that didn't last too long and by the time we got back to the car little Monty Bot was exhausted!

As soon as we got back home he was onto his hammock and fast asleep, snoring!

OTL had a nasty shock, you see he couldn't take his camera 'cos he says that two woofing dogs and feuding  ferrets didn't leave time to take pictures with his camera, so, he used his telephone. He put it into his fleece jacket pocket and forgot to zip it up and it fell out and he didn't notice until he got home!

That was it, back to the sea front and retrace the path we take and on the way out, nothing.

On the way back he moved over a bit as we crossed the football field an there it was, on the ground telling us there had been six missed calls!

Who's lucky boy then?

So, back home and working hard, well OTL is, Holly, the ferrets and I just enjoyed the snooze!

I can see that Holly will need that Muzzle from Archie Babe if her 'Diet' keeps going, she says she has never been so hungry in her life!

'Aint life a Bitch sometimes!
