Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Did we have a laugh this morning, there he was, Captain Pug Wash, paddling away for all he was worth. He got up to the last sixty seconds of his half an hour paddle around the office. The last sixty seconds he doubles his pace and 'Goes Like The Clappers', a sort of 'Sprint Finish'.
So, there he was, in, out, in, out, in, ow!
The sliding seat he was sitting on seized up! His butt wasn't moving but the rest of him was thrashing around like a headless chicken!
Holly said that he looked like a Woodpecker on Speed!
After he managed to extract himself from all the straps that keep him on the paddle machine, we saw that one of the rubber wheels had come off the seat and was jammed between the mechanism! It looks like Old Two Legs had got an 'Engineering Job' to add to the other jobs he had lined up for today!
Mr Brambles was still getting upset 'cos he reckons the 'Sea Weed Monster' has been pinching his holes. Determined to 'Have a Word' with the Monster, he set about digging around in the sea weed!
I'll find you, and when I do, you're in trouble! |
Miss Snowflake was getting a bit fed up with having to wait while Mr Brambles 'Ferreted Around' and went beck to OTL to see if she could 'Just Wait in the Carry Bag?'
No Way! Once your out, your out for the whole run!
Oooo! he is sooo! Hard!
Pleeese! Just while he is ferreting about? |
Cheeky Ferrets!
No, that's Not Our Wee! |
Just the way we like it!
After we got back the rain started again and you know what? It didn't let up until four in the afternoon! OTL was looking at the Doppler Web Site that shows where the rain is falling and he spotted we 'Had A Window' where we could get down to the Sea Wall again, have our walk and get back to the car before it all started again!
Now, who's a clever OTL then?
He managed to get the weather well enough but he has failed on the rowing machine. The wheel that came off can't be remounted 'cos it is split right across the wheel and even when he tried to use it on just three wheels, it kept jamming.
I think that tomorrow or maybe on Monday, we will be taking the machine down to the local tip!
At the moment he is Surfing The Web to find a reasonably priced replacement. Some of them are terribly expensive and he is crying as he is searching, so imagine how he will be when he has to finally click the 'Buy' button!
Not to worry, at least he will be fitter than if he just sat in the chair and did no exercise, and, as he says, 'You can't take it with you' which is true, but why does he have to cry so much?
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
