Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.
I’m getting fed up with the soggy field, I mean, there we are, all wrapped up in our sheepskin coats and heading off for a wee, we jump from the path onto the grassy field and.............................SLURP!
Up to our dew claw in soggy mud! Roll on summer!
After our walk we normally slink off to the bedroom for a snooze while the ferrets go on a rampage. Today everything was normal, until it was time for the ferrets to go back to their cage. Wendy was no trouble, in fact she was so worn out she put herself back to bed, but Eric, the ferret with trouble in his tail, decided to hide under the TV furniture and fall asleep, just before Old Two Legs was hunting him to go to bed!
It took OTL twenty minutes to find him and it was only The Missus banging on the back of the furniture to wake him up!
Needless to say, he cuddled up in OTL's arms and headed off for a slurp of Ferretone and a chicken strip, which he took to bed with him!
Lunchtime the clouds cleared and we headed out again and met up with Barney and his dogs out on a training run!
First Barney told them to 'Stay', something we never do! Then he would walk off and throw the balls around in the long grass a good fifty yards away, then, one at a time the woofers were allowed to go hunting for the ball.
Can I go First, PLEEEEESE!
After the run around Trevor decided to show us how well he can swim after a ball.
He was like a speed boat!
Outta My Way I'm Heading for Shore!
Of course, once he got back Barney had to squeeze the ball dry before putting it away in his pocket!
Don't sqeeze it, THROW IT!
A short while later we were all having a sniff around when this rocket of a Sausage Woofer came steaming along the path!
It's her, the Pocket Rocket!
We all said hello and had a sniff around before heading back to home. You know what? I almost got away with pinching one of the balls but OTL was watching and I had to leave it in the grass!
Maybe next time!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
