It's the Day Before Boxing Day?

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Now if you want to be confused good and proper, get a Two Legs to explain how they calculate a holiday date.

Take Christmas, like wot we are having now.

We start off on a Saturday with wot they call Christmas Day, then, normally, the next day is Boxing Day, but not this year. This year we don't have Boxing Day until Monday wot is normally a Working Day but this year the beginning of the week is a Tuesday, which is normally the Second Day of the Week!

Now, if you think that is enough to rattle you brains, try asking how they calculate the Easter Holidays!

The official way is Easter is that it is the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox. If the full Moon falls on a Sunday, then Easter is the next Sunday!

Christmas, on the other paw has nothing to do with the moon, unless it falls on a Sun Day which according to the History Bods is a Pagan Festival, which is to do with the Equinox and the Shortest Day.

My brain hurts, I need some chicken to settle my head!

It has been raining for most of the day, the pond is full to over flowing and the birds have been splashing around in it all day!

We asked Eric if he wanted to come out with us but he declined!

Shut the door, it's freezing!

Mind you, I don't blame him, you know the puddles were almost right across the road!

Guess who drove right the way through the puddle?

When we got down to the sea front there was nothing to see, except the grey sky! There were a couple of woofers in the distance, walking away from us, so there was more time to enjoy the wet sniffs!

There was nothing much to photograph, except the rain drops on the branches!

So, it was all back to home for a cuddle on the sofa and a snooze after a bowl of chicken!

See you tomorrow when it's Boxing Day, Not Monday!

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
