Fresh out of Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, what a change to the weather now that Easter is over! Strange thing this weather lark. Just when you get a holiday the weather changes to howling gales and six foot of snow and yest as soon as you go back to work.......the sun comes out!

Hey! Izzy, we have been to Portpatrick! We were there on our holidays and that was the year Mr Brambles died! A bit sad for us but the camping area was so full of rabbits Holly and I were going potty trying to get to them!

We did manage to escape a couple of times and chase those Bunnies!

Mind you, down here the bunnies are few and far between!

The weather was bright and sunny down on the beach and Old Two Legs had brought the Page 3 Girls down for a dig in the sand.

Not that April was too impressed, she would rather stay in the Ferret Bag or better still, at home!

Well it was your idea to come down here!
Holly and I thought it was great, dashing up and down the beach looking for sniffs !

Loads of Sniffs down here!
Back home we got Doggy Scoff plonked in front of us when we got in. I mean, does a woofer have to put up with this rubbish?

Holly said she wasn't going to give The Missus any more cuddles until we get some proper scoff!

OTL has been busy, this time of the month he is getting all the invoices out and preparing to issue 'Statements' just to let his customers know what they should be paying him!

Then there is the stuff he has to get ready for the accountant, more paperwork!

We are glad we are Woofers and don't have to mess about with all that stuff. What do we have to worry about? Sniffs and Doggy Scoff!

Lunchtime Freddy was woken up with a sniff of Ferretone and put in the new Travelling Cage for his run on the beach.

Now Freddy doesn't do running 'cos if he does his tummy bangs on the ground! So, Freddy does what we call 'Slow Wobbles' as he makes his way along the beach!

My Tummy is damp, can I get a lift?
Freddy does get a little exercise 'cos OTL makes him walk all the way along the beach and up the grass path. Today he got lucky 'cos there were a few woofers charging about, so Freddy got a carry all the way to the  bench on the hill!

Then while we were having a chat with a couple of young lads, all about Ferrets and Woofers, Freddy got into the bag and decided to have a snooze!

I like it in here, can I stay?
Of course, OTL would have none of that and insisted that Freddy walks all the way back to the car!

After the young TL's had wandered off Holly got to thinking about Ferret Bags.

'Mmm', she said, 'Do you think they do Woofer Sized Ferret Bags so we can get a ride?

A Woofer Sized Bag?
Unfortunately, I opened my mouth and without thinking said...............

It would have to be a big bag to get your butt inside!

That's when the fight started!

See you tomorrow!

  1. Evening all, glad your weather improved, ours didn't. I managed to get my early walk in before it hammered down. My mum had to go to work this afternoon so Barbara next door came in to let me out for a wee and feed me my afternoon snack and then she took me out and we went to visit my mum at work cos I was missing her. I do feel a bit sorry for the ferrets and their little legs, it must seem like a long way to walk to them. Glad you and Holly had fun on the beach. Poor Freddy, now come on OTL you need to get him a little skate board or a 2 pairs of stilts so his tummy doesn't bang on the cold damp floor. Lovely pictures today. Girls you don't have to put up with this doggie scoff stuff, you can come and live with me and I'll make sure you never see a tin of doggie scoff again. In fact, if I were you I would chew thru Mrs TM's brake cables on her bike if she keeps feeding you that awful stuff. Poor OTL, I feel sorry for him having to work when he could be out with you and his camera. Hope you all have a good evening and I hope you get some decent muggings to keep you going until tomorrow. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. I'm glad you have sunshine down there because...guess what? Hamish and I are coming down to stay with our mate Rizzo. I was so excited when mum told us today that I whizzed round the garden 20 times doing my massive leap across the path on each lap. I'm going to nag her to bring us to your beach again so I can show Hamish & Rizzo your brilliant sniffs.
Tell OTL that his photos are fabulous today. You were very cheeky saying that about Holly's bottom! I was wondering how OTL would carry you all. The Ferrets had fun today. Freddy is so funny with his low tummy. I think OTL should make him a special coat with an under-sling that holds it up off the ground. My mum has some special under-garments that squash all her wobbly-bits in, they look small enough for Freddy too! (Don't tell her I told you this though). OTL has been working hard on his paperwork. Can't the Page 3 girls help? Mum says they get their nickname from a paper so they should be good at paperwork.
Make sure you hang on to that sunshine for me. Hope you get something other than doggy scoff soon. Love, wags, woofs and licks from Izzy xxxxxxxx

  3. Ah poor Holly, on about her butt again, I have been saying for ages that you should have doggie bags to rest in when it is cold and you could be carried around like those spoilt ferrets. I love all your pictures today, they are so beautiful but I am not going to declare a favourite, they are all favourites. About the Easter weather, it always works out that when the holiday is over the skies brighten, the wind goes away and the fridge door shuts! Pity you could not help OTL with his paperwork but I suppose you would be of no help so best keep away and stick to what you know like sniffing, snoozing and eating! xxxxxx
