Frogs 4 Us!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and of course, Freddy de Ferret!

Another fun day here in North Kent!

It wasn't so warm and sunny this morning but that didn't stop May chasing Holly along the beach!

Slow down and I'll bite your tail!
We got back home to find The Missus had left two bowls of Doggy Scoff for Holly and me. We were not amused!

Old Two Legs got a telephone call from TM saying that there were four frogs waiting for him and a little woofer by the name of Missy!

That was it, OTL was off like a shot but he left Holly and me at home while he got to make friends with little Missy!

As Missy was trying to decide if OTL was going to eat her or not she spotted Rosie coming through the door and decided that her arms were a safer place to be than close to OTL!

Rosie got a 'Thank You Licky Kiss' from Missy!

This is a safe place to be!
Steve had brought along four junior frogs from his pond for our pond! OTL was Tickled Pink and was heading home with the frogs.

.......are we there yet?
OTL put the bin on it's side next to the pond and all four frogs jumped out at the same time!

Two of them immediately disappeared into the reeds but the other two sat there taking in their surroundings!

Well, this is a different pond!
There were other stuff swimming past the frogs and it wasn't too long before they decided that this swimming stuff was really food!

That tasted good!

The frog in the reeds said that there wasn't so much to eat where he was so, doing a quick back flip he landed in the deeper part of the pond and was soon diving down under the Lily Pad leaves!

You know, I could get used to this pond!
That was it, they soon disappeared and now we will just have to keep our eyes open to keep Herons and Cats out of the garden so the frogs have a chance to grow big and fat, just like Holly Dog!

Tomorrow we will start to pack the caravan and OTL says he will give it a wash and also clean out the car.

So, it's going to be a busy day!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

P.S. Croak, Croak from the frogs!

  1. Afternoon little maties down by the seaside. Wow, four new mouths to feed, do they have names yet or are you all waiting until Mrs TM comes home for her suggestions as well. Are they going on holiday with you? I hope they'll all be very happy in their new home and grow big and fat so that you can play with them when they pop out to say hello to you. My mum was doing a spot of gardening today and she disturbed one of our frogs but he soon hopped away, I didn't see it cos I was confined to the house while she had the lawn mower out in case she trimmed my tail. That May sure is a pickle, it's one thing telling Wendy and Freddy she's after them but picking on Holly is another matter. It's been very sunny here but it is cold. Did you get to meet up with Missy? She looks very sweet and I'm sure she'd have fun with you on your beach. Rosie looks like she's loving having cuddles with Missy. Now this doggie scoff business has got to stop, how can you concentrate on packing up all your bits and bobs for your holibobs on an empty tummy. If Mrs TM serves it up tomorrow I suggest you go away and leave her at home. Hope you get some decent muggings tonight from OTL and have an early night if you're going to be busy tomorrow. Love, licks, sniffs and wags from little Arch, Mr Nipper and our Freddy the frog says croak to your new family xxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Another sixteen legs in the menagerie, I don't suppose you will be taking them to Scotland, you can hardly take a pond .................... You can't, can you? More doggie scoff, what is it all about perhaps TM has a couple tins that won't fit in the van so you get them before you go! Find them and destroy them then maybe you will get proper Scottish steak, a nice Highland coo would do, last you and Holly a couple of weeks. Missy looks very sweet and a real fur ball, she looks fun. Hope your frogs settle into their lush surroundings, bet they don't get doggie scoff. xxxxxx. and xxxx

  3. Hello Daisy, warm greetings from Montreal, Canada. I love your photos...and I do love frogs! My father's parents were born in Kent.
