More Splashing About!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

No snow or hail today and no rain, so that was good! Mind you, it was chilly but warmer than yesterday. Old Two Legs tried to stop me from having a paddle but I managed a quick kick about in the rock pools. I had decided against a swim 'cos it was too cold in the water!

The tide was out and Miss Wendy decided she would go investigating the rock pools again.

Here comes some wet paws!
She managed a splash in the pools but said the water was a mixture of salt and mud!

Of course there were loads of sea shells in the rock pool but today we found a big whelk shell, I mean, normally they have been broken by the waves but this one looked intact!

Nice condition but no one is at home!
That didn't stop Miss Wendy from exploring all around the sea weed. This time she didn't find any Monsters or Nargles or even a little crab!

My paws are wet and now my tummy is soaking as well!
Up on the Sea Wall Holly Chops was watching the whole thing. Now you all know that just like Archie Babe, Holly doesn't do Water, doesn't do Wet and doesn't do Mucky Paws!

Oh! Do me a favour, you just can't get wet like that!
Back home we have all been enjoying a snooze. While OTL has been playing on the computer.

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but we have had some chicken this morning. Maybe that is what Auntie Sue should do, eat your pills then a nice big plate of chicken, all warm and greasy!

That will settle your tum!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Nice big plate of chicken, yes but greasy definately a no, no. Holly does look cute surveying the scene like that and those boots were made for walking and not getting wet. That was a big shell you found, I wonder did you take it home for TM, I am sure she would have liked it! OTL does get busy on that computer it is a wonder you manage to find a window of opportunity to type your Diary as it must take you ages with all those keys and two paws to manage it with. I went out for a little walk this afternoon, first time since Tuesdays doctors visit, we were going out yesterday but didn't feel like it. I was getting better but today my back is hurting again and I can't take as many of the tablets because they made me ill so just hoping I get really better soon. Off to have some pork chop, not chicken but still nice. xxxxxx

  2. Evening little maties down by the wet seaside. We've had pretty much the same weather as you down there. It's been quite chilly and I've felt it more today cos I was WETTED this morning then clipped :( I don't do WET!!!!! I'm not a happy chappy, most of my beard has been cut off so there's nothing to store my crumbs in and all the crumbs I'd been saving have been stolen! I really don't understand how Miss Wendy could get her paws then tummy wet voluntarily, seems odd to me that anyone would want to be wet. Holly chops is very sensible. Sorry to hear that Mrs Sue hasn't been well and hope she feels better very soon, you're right Daisy, everyone knows chicken helps you feel better, specially when it's nice and warm. My mum was a bit cross last night cos she lost one of her fillings when she was tucking into a nice chewy sweet, see now if she'd given it to me she wouldn't have lost the filling so when she goes to the dentist next week she'll have to pay for 2 fillings instead of one. Hope you all have a lovely evening and I'm keeping my paws crossed that the weather warms up very soon. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (bald) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
