Up Yer Nose Sunshine!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

What a day! First thing this morning we looked out of the window and saw that there was a good layer of frost all over the cars and the footpath!

When we got to the football field there was so much frost that it looked like snow!

Being early and a very cloudy sky, the sun hadn't got up yet so, no camera!

Back home the postman arrived and for a change, Old Two Legs got a Jiffy Bag full of stuff.

OTL had replied to a Government Email asking him to take part in an Important Study to measure the prevalence of Covid-19.

Well, today the bag arrived with all the kit for a home test together with instructions on where to shove the swab! Eric said we should start off with Holly, followed by me and then OTL, just so we can get a proper test result!

Holly suggested several places a ferret could also get tested!

Well, the first thing is to book a collection by the courier and when OTL tried to book one on-line, the web site was closed until the second of January!

So, it looks like everything is on hold until then!

Lunchtime we were out again and although the frost had melted it was still cold!

We were glad to get back home to a nice warm cuddle and watch a DVD!

Now, it is Janes Birthday today, what a time to have a birthday, I mean, so close to Christmas and not far enough away to be an occasion!

I thought that OTL's birthday was close enough but I suppose the best time to have a birthday would be around the middle of the year!

Maybe next time!

See you all tomorrow and Happy New Year to you all for tomorrow morning.

We will be slurping on the bubbly and might very well be fast asleep when midnight arrives!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

A Sunrise at last!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, just for a change, the sun got up this morning and showed us a super sun rise. OK, we have seen better but as we haven't seen one for some time it looks a real treat. On top of that, the moon was full and on the opposite side of the fields!

It's a pity we didn't take the tripod along but it ain't too bad for an amateur!

Holly says it's made of Rawhide, just like the chews, well it's the same colour!

There was a slight breeze blowing which made the steam from the chimney to blow sideways but in the afternoon the wind dropped and all the staeam went straight up, but it didn't look as good as this one!

Just for a change, we didn't see anyone else on the walk which was OK by me, well I never like anyone watching while I have a wee in the grass!

Just look at that sky!

This morning when Old Two Legs was cleaning the cage, Eric wandered into the office and climbed onto OTL's lap then up into his arms then he snuggled down and enjoyed a snoozy cuddle! It's not often that he does that but we think he was trying to get OTL to hand out the Chicken Strips but the postman didn't bring them today, so, it will be another day he will have to wait!

Mind you, Holly and I love them as well and I sometimes jump onto his lap but Holly can't do that so she just sits on her cushion and raises her paw in a sort of doggy salute!

Claws crossed for the postman tomorrow!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It's getting colder!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

I know we have got past the longest night or the shortest day but not the coldest day!

All it needs is a little wind and the temperature drops and your tail gets that tingly feeling!

Mind you, yesterday we got shaved so it could just be the lack of hair that makes it feel colder. You know, it was rather draughty!

One good thing was that Old Two Legs got our sheep skin coats out and wrapped us up to keep out of the cold!

I don't care, there is still a draught under my tail!

Holly's coat fits just right but mine is a little big around the tummy, which means the strap with the Velcro leaves a strap end flapping in the breeze and that in turn makes me look like a shark swimming through the grass!

Holly says it looks like a periscope!

However, it does keep me warm!

OTL wanted to take another shot of us when we got home but we headed for bed and a promise he can take the photo tomorrow!

We hope the cistern got fixed, Holly and I have this vision of a Bidet squirting water into the air every time you wanted a wee!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
