Wind and Rain.....again!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

We may be back to work but the weather is just as horrid as yesterday!

 Mind you, today we managed to keep out of the rain and it only started when we were on our way back home!

Being the end of the month Old Two Legs has been plonking away on the computer getting everything copied and filed away for the new accountant woman.

We had a parcel delivered today from one of the distilleries OTL supports. They were running a 'Points Means Prizes' thing and every time OTL purchased a bottle he got a point. Now, this has been going on for some time and OTL has been after a weatherproof coat which needed 1200 points which equates to purchase of 200 gallons of finest single malt whisky.

Now he has been trying to get the points but so far, he has drawn up short of the total required.

What is worse, they have stopped offering points and have cancelled it all and offered to supply prizes to the value of the point you have accumulated.

This is where he gets upset.

He has enough points for a Whisky Flask but he can't have that cos they have run out!

It's the same with everything he has enough points for, 'Out of Stock' is the label on the product!

Not wishing to lose the points he has ended up with two Beanie Hats and a Water Jug!

As he doesn't mix water with his whisky, the jug is now an ornament and The Missus has robbed him of one of the hats!

Lunchtime he wasn't a happy bunny but Eric was awake and demanding to be taken down the sea front!

 Look, no lead!

 When we got down to the beach OTL had a good look around for woofers and when there were none to be seen, Eric got let off the lead for a run on the beach!

  I get let off the lead before I get out of the car, so I'm OK!

 Eric tried a little scrambling over the rocks but stayed well away from the water, he is a bit like most of the ferrets, no water thanks!

The only ferrets were Snowflake and Brambles who would go in for a paddle and once down in west Wales, Snowflake swam across a small stream!

  I don't mind digging but it's got to be dry!

 It started to rain as we headed home and managed to stop before arriving home.

OTL got Toad in the Hole for lunch but to be honest, it looked like sausages in batter!

Bank Holiday Sunshine?

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a day!

I mean, it is supposed to be all warm and shiny and swimming in the sea and rolling on the grass, but today?

It's been cloudy, windy, chilly and no going anywhere near the water!

For a start, the tide was right out when we got there and the only woofers, we met was Bob and his mates!

It's too cold for swimming and we lost the ball!

Mind you, none of us would have gone in any way! 

Old Two Legs was hunting bugs but even they seemed to have gone into hiding, in fact we didn't even see a butterfly!

When we got back home, we decided to have a lazy afternoon and everyone fell asleep.

We got woken up by The Missus who was snoring her tail off but that's normal 'cos she always does that!

Back to work tomorrow and OTL has been looking at me and asking if I wanted a wash and a trim?

I think I will keep a low profile tomorrow, a haircut in this weather?

No way!
