Sunshine

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again on a super sunny day!

First of all a Big Woofin 'Hello' to Pauline who has been brave enough to let us know she is a 'Follower' of this Blog!

I mean, what's wrong with reading the thoughts of a three year old little doggy!

Unless your a cat, now a cat, they wouldn't be seen anywhere near my blog!

We were up a bit earlier this morning and Old Two Legs managed to get out a bit quicker than normal. It was all down to Snowflake being woken up by The Missus who walked into the office going 'Cooeee! Snowflake, are you awake yet?'

As Snowflake said, 'I wasn't but I am now!'

So that means OTL can get inside to do the house cleaning and Snowflake can get out for an early slurp of Ferretone and a run around the office while OTL is poo shovelling!

One of the good things about ferrets is that they are very clean animals, they always poo in the same spot, (unless the poo pile gets too high!) and they are obsessive  'Tidy Uppers!'

She is always running out, grabbing her toys and hiding them away in her 'Hidy Holes'.

This morning she hit the big one!

OTL was clearing up, Snowflake was running around, OTL left the Ferretone on the floor with a drop inside the flip type cap.

Snowflake had her lick and then managed to shut the cap down. Then she 'Tidied Up' the Ferretone and dragged the bottle off into her cardboard box where all the toys were stashed.

It was ages before OTL found the bottle!

Down on The Sea Wall we met up with Mrs Corvid who was mooching around looking for some breakfast. She said that the choice of sea food always gets bad during the Winter Time. Holly suggested that she might like to have a bit of Two Legs food, like Beef Burgers which really weren't beef but instead horse.

Mrs Corvid said that she couldn't do that 'cos she may be eating someone she had known!

No Neddies for me thank you!
I found some strange smelling stuff on the path, I jus' couldn't work out what it was, Holly says it might be Weasel or even a Stoat!

I asked how she knew that?

She said that a Weasel poo was Weasly recognised but a Stoat's is Stoatally different!

Watssis?

Oh No, I hear you groan, you should have heard what OTL said later.
We were walking along and he stopped, looked at us and said,

'Hey, you two, what should you put on your beef pie?'

'Dunno, what do you put on your beef pie?' we said

£5 each way, Boom Boom!

He is getting worse as he gets older!

Back in the car Holly noticed that the water bowl was missing and said that had she known it wasn't in the car, she would have had a drink from the puddle back down the path!

Oi! Where's me Water Bowl?
OTL gave us both a rub down with the towel to dry off but I was still a bit damp and slightly chilly, so, I looked at OTL and asked if I could have a cuddle on his lap until I warmed up!

I could really do with a cuddle!
He called me a wimp, but I still got my cuddle before we set off back home!

Lunch time we went down The New Park and the sun was shining but there was a slight breeze, which added to the balmy feel of the day, Spring is just around the corner!

Holly said that on days like this it really makes you feel good!

Feeling Good!
OTL and I were playing 'Chase The Ball', well I chased it and then he chased me to get the ball back! Holly was just enjoying the chat with the other dogs as we strolled along in the sun shine.

Holly said that just two days ago when we came here there was snow everywhere and just look at it now!
No Snow, just sunshine and showers!
There was one Spaniel and his owner enjoying a breather at the top of the hill and a bask in the sunshine!

Just having a breather girls, just a breather!
Not sure what we are doing tomorrow, maybe it will be sunny and we can go down the park again. I know that on Saturday we, that is Holly, Me and OTL are off to have a look at a Pet Hotel where Snowflake will stay when we go on holiday later this year.  Before booking her in OTL wants to make sure she will be happy and comfortable there and also if she can have her own cage, which you know is enormous! It's a pity we can't take Snowflake with us but OTL says she is not yet fully trained to go out visiting.

Holly says that it will be hard training a ferret to walk to heel, lets face it, we don't, unless OTL gets all 'Stroppy'!

Friday tomorrow and then the weekend!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake

Back to work for OTL and Snowflake has fun!

Hello all you Woofers out there!

Daisy & Holly & Snowflake back with you.

Wot a super day today, well most of it has been!

We were up early this morning and went out to find the pond was frozen! We could tell it was frozen 'cos when we tried to have a drink we just got a cold tongue!

It was a good walk this morning. First of all Old Two Legs spotted a Dunlin that he says was suffering from 'Horizontal Hold' problems!

What's Horizontal Hold?
Then we bumped into a young Alsatian, she was only ten months old but you could see she was going to be a real looker when she gets older!

She was a bit nervous and wasn't too sure about OTL's camera!

Wassat?
Then she got really worried, 'Look' she said, 'I can see a doggy in the window!'

I had to explain that she was looking at her own reflection in the camera glass! However, she still didn't seem to get it so in the end we let it go, I mean, there is such a thing as Too Much Information!

When we got home we saw that in one picture of her eye, you could see OTL and the sun behind him!

There's OTL as well!
We left her to carry on our walk and as we got to the top of the hill, there bounding along and calling our names was Barney!

He had his Bozo Mate with him, the one who thinks OTL is wonderful!

Helloooo Gillies!
We all had a chase around and I got a bit worried when the Labrador got a bit too excited and I had to do my 'Warning Woof' just to let them know I was not happy!

Holly of course just charged around with them woofing and running and running and woofing!

Holly having a woofing good chase!
It wasn't long before we were joined by the Staffy from down near the car park, carrying  her ball of course and also looking like a Bozo!

Wooza Bozo?
Back home to a bowl of Doggy Scoff! Not our sort of breakfast thank you, we would rather have had chicken or beef steak or even some horse chops!

Holly has just looked over my shoulder to read wot I have said about her and she says that she would say 'neigh' to Horse Meat!

Oh, she is such a Wag sometimes!

OTL had to go out at lunch time to do some work so we stayed with The Missus who was preparing her stuff for the 'Master Class' this weekend.

We missed OTL while he was out but early evening he was back to a good 'Hello' lick from both Holly and me!

Then it was up stairs to see Snowflake and have a chat with her, then OTL let her out for a run around. She was playing with her squeaky toys and OTL was hiding them so she had to hunt for them. One time he did such a good job that she had to ask where they were and can she have them please!

Come on, please let me have my toys!
She is very funny when she is chasing around trying to hide all her toys from OTL but he always seems to find them!

Now, where do I hide this one?
You see when OTL is playing with Snowflake he is having great fun and so is she. But, he is always very careful to keep his hands away from Snowflake's teeth!

Gently does it Snowflake!
Snowflake has been sitting on OTL's lap and licking the Ferretone Bottle Cap into which OTL puts a drop and Snowflake says that it is the best bit of the day. Now we find that a bit strange 'cos during the day OTL gives her loads of 'drops' in that cap and she says that all of them are 'The Best Bit of The Day!'

It must be super having so many 'Best Bits!'

Bye bye for now, see you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake

When is Spring going to start?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back to see you!

There was a cold wind blowing this morning, it was blowing off the sea and made my tail sing! Even Old Two Legs kept his hood up for protection!

Holly got the pickle into her and was rushing around like a puppy!

Wheeeeeeeeeee!
I reckon she is getting too much carrot in her diet and that's getting some funny results!

Look! One Legged Paw Stand!
She started off by bouncing along on one paw!

Then it was a quick Tap Dance just to show off how slim and fit she is!

A Tap Dancing Doggy!
Then it all clicked into place, she was trying to impress OTL on how much weight she had lost and now she really didn't need to be on a diet and can she now have the chews and the shortbread and the extra helping of my dinner, Pleeeeease?

Even OTL ain't that daft!

Bad Luck Sis, but it was a good try!
Back home to a good plate of Lambs Liver and biscuits and a snooze while OTL gives Snowflake some 'Quality Time'. You know she isn't trying to bite him so often, or maybe it's that he has got better at reading her movements!

Today she was on his lap, on her back, licking the Ferretone bottle cap while he tickled her tummy!

It was funny to watch 'cos she screwed up her back paws like we do when OTL tickles our tail!

Lunch time we went out to pick up some stuff and then went onto The New Park! Now, we haven't been down there for ages, so it was a case of catching up with all the sniffs!

There was a big Pup who was ball chasing and then he wanted to chase Holly and me, we weren't having any of that and we woofed him off straight away!

Go on! Woof Off you Hooligan!
We went all the way around and said hello to The Watchers who looked like they had got new dresses!
The Watchers looking Good!
OTL spotted a Kestrel sitting on a fence post, it looked a bit fed up with the weather and was looking for some dinner!

You are disturbing the wild life, clear OFF!
You could tell he didn't want OTL clicking away with the camera and disturbing the mouses, so he told OTL to clear off, pity OTL can't speak Kestrel!

This is just TOO MUCH!
That's the trouble with OTL, not enough interest in speaking another language!

I happened to find a real super sniff, in fact it was so good, I just had to have a roll in it!

Big problem!

OTL saw me.

I was branded a Smelly Nelly and Holly even called me a Pooie Pup!

What? Me?
When we got home I was given a wash all over, it was horrid, I hate having water sloshed under my tummy!

Mind you, that shampoo stuff, it pongs worse than OTL's sneakers!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly and Snowflake

Another Busy Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you.

Well, first thing this morning we went trooping down stairs with The Missus and got let out into the back garden.

The Snow Fairy had visited over night!

It wasn't very deep and it looked rather wet and sloshy and to be honest, we've seen better!

Soggy, Soggy, Soggy!
We got dragged out for our morning walk but half way around Holly did her famous 'Stuff This For a Walk' and headed for home with her tail in the air!

Stuff this, I'm off!

Followed closely by me then Old Two Legs!

It was YUK!

Back to a good rub down and a breakfast of Chicken and Biscuits!

Snowflake got let out and as normal, ran amok in OTL's office and at one time was chasing him and pretending she was going to bite him! She didn't, it was just her way of having fun at OTL's expense!

Lunch Time came and out we went again, it was still raining and the snow was disappearing fast, leaving the ground all wet and very soggy!

This is still wet and soggy!

We were trotting along behind OTL when I looked up and caught OTL's eye, I asked.......

...........are you Really enjoying this?

Holly managed to spook a couple of rabbits but she was too far away to catch them!

Back home to another rub down and off for a snooze in the office and a chat with Snowflake about what we have been doing!

We told her about the folded snow we had seen on OTL's car, it was the first time we had seen snow like that!

Strange Snow!
OTL left us on our own this afternoon, well, alone with TM anyway!

When he came back, he tried creeping in the front door but we heard him and we set up a woofing while he was scratching the bottom of the door, so with him scratching and us woofing we had a good laugh before he got through the door!

Tonight we are expecting Snowflake to be up for a chase around the office, if she can stay awake!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake

Snowflake starts 'Bonding' with OTL's Sneakers!

Yo Hoo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here with you!

The weather has been a bit 'Grotty' today but it hasn't stopped us from going out for our walks, this mornings was a bit drafty but at least it didn't rain, that came later!

There were some interesting sniffs and one in particular, we spent a good five minutes enjoying that one. Holly reckons it was definitely a Feb 2013 with a hint of Jan 2013 mixed with hint of Sept 2012!

She has got a better nose than I have when it comes to sniffs like this!

Mmmm and a hint of Smokey Bacon on Toast!
While we were sniffin a Sea Gull passed by and called out 'Hello Four Legs!'

Hello!
Back home to a brush and some Doggy Scoff, but this was some different scoff, strange sniffin but we decided to leave it until a bit later, just in case!

We went up into the office and found Snowflake messing about on the desk top. She had found Old Two Legs mug he had left. She had a sniff and decided she liked the taste of sugar at the bottom, so in she went and licked it up, until OTL caught her and took the mug away! Not before Holly had left some graffiti on the mug!

Why is everyone laughing, I think it tastes OK?
Then she went off checking everything else out. First of all there was OTL's new computer, small but perfectly formed, just like Snowflake!

Mmm This is New!
Then she went on a 'Full Scale Investigation' which means every part of the room must be sniffed and sorted! She even had a sniff of the fresh air and of course when she did that OTL thought she wanted a run out in the garden!

Mmm, fresh air, Yuk!
Well that will teach her! OTL gave her a slurp of the Amber Nectar (Ferretone) and while she was away in Cloud Cuckoo Land, he slipped on the harness all ready for her!

Down we all went to the garden and when OTL put her down on the ground she went wobbly!

You could see she was having a bit of a panic, all this fresh air and space and wet and cold and damp and old spiders web and mud and please take me back in OTL!  NOW!

We were inside looking out the window!

So, after a little while OTL picked her up and brought her back inside, her heart was beating away much faster than normal, so OTL decided that she was in need of a calming slurp!

After that Snowflake got back to investigating the 'Inside World'!

'ere, Wot's this sniff?
First of all she found OTL's sneakers, not the best sniff we have every sniffed, but you can't tell a ferret what not to sniff!

It gets worse down the bottom!
So down she went and got close to what Holly and I call 'The Death Zone'. That's the part where you need oxygen to survive, it's a bit like climbing Everest!

Well, the further in she went the more trouble she got into and before you know it, she had rolled over onto her back with her rear paws in the air!

Help!

Holly and I laughed, OTL had to drag her out and it must have taken a good three minutes before her eyes stopped rolling around her head!

These can be lethal!
It was then that she went back to hiding her toys!

In you come Squeaky!

After lunch OTL decided to get some petrol and off we went but the local garage was charging too much for petrol, so we went into town and saved a whole 4p a litre!

Of course, we jumped up and down to go to The Forrest, we hadn't been there for ages and demanded a visit!

Really we shouldn't have bothered. It started to rain, big drops of rain, the ground was knee deep in mud and there was even mud on top of the mud that was on the muddy path!

Holly had to be put on the lead so that OTL could make sure she didn't run back to the car!

Whose stupid idea was this?
We even saw a massive great branch that had fallen off one of the trees, Holly reckons that it must have made a mighty crash when it landed!

That's a BIG branch!
When we got back to the car Holly showed off by sitting on the parcel shelf  and grumbling about her wet tummy!

I'm wet, my Tummy's wet, my Tails wet, I'm wet all over!
I must admit, I thought that Holly might have a point and I even said so to OTL!

I'm a bit wet as well!
Back home we both had a wash and dry with a clean towel, then into our day beds for an after noon snooze before dinner!

All in all, a fun Sunday and we're looking forward to a cuddle tonight while OTL finises off the last of the Shortbread. (I had a nibble last night when Holly wasn't looking!)

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

Super Saturday and Snowflake's OK!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

How's your Saturday? We've had some fun and games here. First of all Old Two Legs thought he was going to get a extra hour in bed this morning, No Chance!

As soon as The Missus got up we followed her down stairs and out for a wee, then straight back up to let OTL know that it was Saturday!

We jumped up onto the bed and gave his ear a good licking, then Holly offered to share her chew with him and tried to store it under the pillow OTL was using! That was it, OTL got up and wandered off to the bathroom for a shower!

It was a good job we got him up early 'cos Snowflake had an appointment with the vet this morning!

Out we went for our walk and bumped into a Spaniel who said he had lost his ball and could he have ours.

Cheeky Woofer! OTL kept our ball in his pocket until the Spaniel had gone off with his owners!

Gissa a Ball!
We had fun with OTL throwing the ball and Holly and I chase after it and at one point, Holly jumped up and the ball bounced on her nose and it went off onto the beach.

Could I find it? No I couldn't, I stood for about five minutes looking and it was only when OTL turned up did we find it!

Well, I can't see it!
Back home we decided to wake up Snowflake and get her ready for the vet! Snowflake was still half asleep and would have rather gone back to snoozing but we did our 'Wake Up Woof' which woke her up!

She was a bit Grumbly, but we didn't take any notice!

I'm supposed to get eight hours sleep every night!
Soon she was out of her bed and was running around the office clearing up all her toys. After putting them all away, she would go off exploring and while she was doing that, OTL got all her toys out and spread them around so, back came Snowflake and she put them all away again!

First, Diddly Duck is put away.
Then the squeaky toys are put in the travel cage, there were so many toys that there was no room for Snowflake!

.....and here's the Last One!
After all that she needed a drink!

Thirsty work!
After cleaning out Snowy Heights, Snowflake was put into the Travelling Cage and Holly was clipped onto the lead. Off they went to the vet.

I was glad to be left at home, I don't like that vet place, it always hurts and OTL always cries!

The result of the visit was, Snowflake is all OK and her operation scar is healing up well and she can go out for a walk when the weather gets warmer.

Holly has lost a bit of weight 0.01kg!

I mean 0.01kg, I've pooed more than that!

OTL wasn't charged any more, so he didn't cry!

Back home we all had a good laugh about Holly's terrific weight loss and I suggested that we tie a string around her nose to prevent her from eating!

Holly sulked, then she wandered off and went to sleep on OTL's bed saying that the scales were wrong!

Poor Holly, she has got to do more 'Not Eating' if she's going to get slimmer!

OTL said we can go out for a walk along the Sea Wall again before the rain set in, so off we went in the car, singing our driving songs!

We met up with another Spaniel who was really unsure about what OTL was carrying!

'ere, What is that you got there?
We told him that OTL was harmless and he always carried the camera!

We met up with Oscar and his mate again and had a chat about the lack of good sniffs along the Sea Wall. 'I blame the weather' says Oscar, too much rain and puddles!

What we need is Good Sniffs!
While I was chatting to Oscar, up came his mate and sniffed my tail! Well, I told him that if he didn't get his nose from under my tail, I would chew his tail off!

Your on a five millisecond warning!
Off they went and we carried on. Holly said she saw a whale splashing about off the shore but it turned to be one of those Bozo Labrador dogs chasing the sea gulls!

He is going to get hosed down when he gets home!
Being that it is Saturday, OTL will have some shortbread tonight, so, I'm going to be very good and maybe I'll get a nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake
