After last nights show (Skyfall), Old Two Legs pointed out where they did a scene along Glen Etive where Old Two Legs and his cousin Alun (Pussy Cat) went to do some photographing!

On our walk this morning it was cold, like I mean chilly around the tail and not the weather to hang around in!

Is this supposed to be Spring?

 Of course OTL was there photographing the frost and the pretty patterns it makes!

We even found a spider that had completed the web yesterday but this morning it had fallen down because of the weight of the frost!

Well, it was all here last night!

It was so misty you couldn't see the buildings across the river, well, you could hardly see the sun!

It was then that we heard, 'Helloooo Girlies!

....and out of the mist bounded Barney, his coat flapping and with his ball, all ready for a game!

We had a bit of a chat about the weather and the sniffs and the cold and the price of Doggy Scoff and while we were doing that, Archie arrived!

Now Archie is a Spaniel type who has a fixation about balls. He thinks every ball around is his and all he wants to do is chase them!

Barney is kind of attached to his ball as well, so when Barney's owner threw the ball, off he flew like the wind!

Archie didn't stand a chance!

Back home it was Doggy Scoff but this time Turkey and Game in a Meaty Jelly, not bad, I've tasted worse!

Lunch time it was back down to The Forest again to hunt some squirrel!

There's the faint sniff of squirrel here!

We hunted all over the place, plenty of sniffs, but no sight of a squirrel anywhere! We thought that OTL was looking out for them as well but it turned out he was looking at the moon!

Along the path came a real Bozo, a Poodle chasing a Stick! I mean, just how unpoodle like is that?

Poodles are supposed to wiggle along looking all pretty pretty, not bouncing around with a stick in their mouth!

Now some of the really big poodles, the ones that look like a small horse, they look after cattle and sheep and stuff like that but one this small?

OTL went off hunting Jays and found one looking for his acorns, so he crept up behind it, looking to get a picture, just about the time we started woofing at a pigeon!

Too late again OTL!

Mind you, we didn't do any better, so in the end decided to chase each other through the forest instead!

We see no squirrels!

Back home and we have a snooze while OTL does some work in the office and play with Snowflake. She managed to do a poo in the corner by the door and after she went back into Snowy Heights, I showed OTL where is was by sniffin it, it's a doggy thing you know!

Down in the kitchen, Holly was moaning about being hungry and the fact she was wasting away and before long Snowflake would weigh more than her!

OTL got the scales out and told Holly to sit on them.

Guess what?

She is still the same weight!

Did she show off or wot!

These scales are wrong, the needle is stuck and they must be broken!

She wants us to call into the vet and use their electric scales 'cos she wants a second opinion!

Poor Holly, all that cutting back on the treats and she is still the same weight!

Maybe more exercise is the answer, anyone got a running machine we can borrow?

I find Snowdrops and Snowflake's in the Naughty Corner!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake again!

After last night, we didn't get up at our normal time, we were late, very late!

Holly said she had a Tummy Ache, Snowflake had a Head Ache and I didn't feel too good!

We reckon that Snowflake had too much of the Ferretone, Holly just pigged out on the Pop Corn and Carrot, I reckon that it was the Shortbread and the 'Twisty Chew that did it for me, plus the Pop Corn!

Old Two Legs seemed OK, except that his bottle of Malt Whisky has been raided by the Angels who normally pinch his whisky when he's not looking!

So, late out of bed means everything today is a bit behind, we didn't get out for our walk until nine thirty!

The sun was shining but not on us, it was misty and a bit colder than what we were expecting!

Mind you, it didn't stop us playing our normal games and hunting rabbits!

Throw it or I'll bury it in the sand again!

 OTL got all moody about some sunbeams!

 Back home, Snowflake was up and about when we got back and she and OTL had a good game of 'Chase The Squeaky' where OTL makes the squeaky toy squeak and Snowflake has to find it.

Then Snowflake runs off with the toy and hides it so OTL has to find it without Snowflake seeing him!

If she sees him get the toy, she chases after him and grabs it back!

Well, Snowflake was in a good mood and got all excited and bounced all over the room doing her 'War Dance' and jumping up at OTL from our 'Day Beds' and OTL was having fun dodging Snowflake's teeth!

Snowflake would run off and hide in between the  bags and stuff waiting for OTL to find the toys!

Go on, I dare you to try and get them!

Then it got out of hand, OTL tried to get the squeaky toy before Snowflake had properly hid it and Snowflake caught him doing it, so she rushed down to get the toy, missed and sunk her teeth into OTL's hand!

You don't do that if you want some more Ferretone!

So that was it, OTL did the 'Owing' bit and gets the TCP out again. Snowflake says sorry but gets put back into her house and into the Naughty Corner for an hour, just to show her OTL's in charge!

Then we all settle down to snoozing or eating or in Holly's case, Bird Watching!

 Come lunch time, OTL had to take some stuff to the carriers, so off we went and after that landed up in The Forest! We haven't been there for a while 'cos it has been too wet and muddy but today it wasn't too bad!

Of course, OTL was all into reflections and colours!

Spring is in the air!

Then he says to us, 'Find me some Snowdrops, I haven't seen any at all this year!'

So, off we went Ferreting around and Holly comes up with the flowers!

That pleased OTL and he spent some time on his knees trying to get a good shot of the Snowdrops. He said he didn't have the right lens with him but as Holly says, 'A poor workman always blames his tools!'

While OTL was messing about with the Snowdrops, we went of Hunting Squirrel!

We searched all over the place and at one time spotted one on the ground, trouble was, he spotted us just as we spotted him and he had plenty of time to scamper up the tree before we got to him!

Of course, OTL managed to get a shot of him, on a high branch, throwing Squirrel Insults down upon us!

Holly says he will remember what he looked like so the next time we see him he will be in trouble!

Back home, the Skyfall DVD had arrived in the post, so we are all set for tonight!

More Pop Corn for me and Holly wants an Ice Cream Slice and Snowflake said she will have a Lolly (dipped in Ferretone)!

OTL says he will have some Shortbread dipped in Malt Whisky, as normal!

Sunday, Sunshine and More Fun!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

We love Sunday's, we always have an extra half an hour in bed and it is so good to wake up to the roaring howl of The Missus pushing her powered carpet sweeper around the house waking the whole street up!

Snowflake was OK, she just put her paws over her ears and went back to sleep!

She had a super game with Old Two Legs, he was jiggling the Cat Tease and Snowflake was jumping up and down and rolling over onto her back chasing it all around the office!

Then after all that she settled down on OTL's lap, had a slurp of Ferretone and curled up into a Ferret Doughnut and allowed OTL to stroke her head and cheeks!

Now that is a big first for her and OTL!

We went out for our walk after OTL had cleaned up Snowflakes house. We met up with Ella, a big Staffy who was carrying her ball. Now, Staffy's get a fixation about balls and sticks and stuff like that, so, when OTL asked for the ball all she would say was.....

oof off!

Well, that told OTL!

We also saw the Magpie family trying to decide where to go today? In the end they headed off to the marshes for an early morning poke around!

Back home we had a real treat, as it is Sunday we are allowed a 'Treat' and we both chose the big Chicken and Rice chew.

Holly sat down and started chewing like mad, she hadn't had one of those for over a week!

I decided not to eat mine straight away and dashed up stairs to hide it under my Day Bed blanket!

About lunch time Martin and Thomas turned up to take TM away for a week of baby sitting. Now this means that OTL will be doing the cooking and Holly was saying that it may be a good idea to stick to Doggy Scoff this week until TM comes back!

Mine you, I can see us tonight, sitting on the sofa with a half chewed carrot, a pack of nibbles, some pop corn and some Shortbread.

OTL says that he is going to open a new bottle of Malt Whisky and  together with the Shortbread, a bar of Fruit & Nut he reckons we should have a good night!

After saying 'Bye Bye' to TM we went down to the Sea Wall and came across a very muddy Alsatian who looked a real mess! He was covered from nose to tail in good old Medway Mud!

He even had a muzzle on so he couldn't get into trouble with other dogs but he he was due a real hose down when he gets home!

It was great walking in the sunshine and although the wind had got up and it was chilly, it still made a change to have the sunshine on our backs!

All that was disturbed by a Hooligan on a tractor roaring around picking up rubbish!

Hell's Angel in a Yellow Hat!

 OTL tells us that the Skyfall DVD he ordered is now in the post and should arrive tomorrow. That means we can get the popcorn out tomorrow and then Holly wants to watch Lord of The Rings and if we have time before the week is out, we will watch the Harry Potter series as well!

Hey, this is going to be a fun week!

We Investigate Snowflakes Holiday Home!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here.

The Missus was off good and early this morning, getting all set up for her Master Class at the village hall. We had to take her up there in the big car 'cos there was loads of stuff she needed.

Holly reckons that a pot of glue and some glitter is all they really need, the rest is for show!

As we did the early run for TM, that meant Old Two Legs was early taking us for our morning stroll and Snowflake had to wait until we got back before her house cleaning was done!

Down on The Sea Wall we were having our normal 'Ball Chasing Game' and Holly came up with a super idea. Normally OTL throws the ball and we chase but this time when OTL threw the ball we picked it up and threw it down onto the beach! Down would go OTL and pick up the ball and throw it for us, one of us would run up, collect the ball and roll it off the wall onto the beach, OTL would have to go and fetch it!

We carried on until OTL gave up and stood there looking at us and realising that we have been having him on! We both laughed so much and we both called him a 'Bozo' for chasing and fetching the ball!

 It was about then that Oscar and Max came trotting around the corner and we told them about the joke we had played on OTL!

Did he really fall for that?

Oscar couldn't believe that OTL would get caught like that 'cos he thinks OTL is wonderful, but only 'cos OTL tickles his tail and makes him laugh!

Max thought that we were making it all up but thought it was a good wheeze and he may try it on his owner when they get their second walk of the day!

Was he really that daft to fall for it?

We had a mooch around and showed Max and Oscar a sniff we had found yesterday, Max said that it sniffed like an old boot, interesting but not really anything to go wild about!

We found this one yesterday!

Off we went and went back home for some beef breakfast! After we finished breakfast, OTL had been up with Snowflake cleaning her house and having a game with her. It's the game that involves OTL pinching her squeaky toys and Snowflake finding them, then stashing them in her carry cage!

When all that was done, OTL says 'Brrrm, Brrrm and holds up his car keys. Now this means we are invited out for a drive  in the car, which is something we are always up for!

It was then that I remembered we were off to see Snowflakes hotel where she will stay when we go on holiday.

We got there and Holly noticed that it was called Purple Paws Hotel! OTL went with the lady to see what it was like and came back, pleased with what he saw. He said it had a place where he Snowy Heights could go and there was a Hot Tub and Jacuzzi there for Snowflake to use! Also there was a Solarium and a room with some Gym equipment for her to use if she fancies a work out!

Holly says that if they took dogs she might consider staying there herself!

Back home we told Snowflake all about it and she said that she thinks she may be comfortable staying there for a while but we got to promise to send her a postcard saying how we were doing!

Lunchtime we dropped into see TM in the village hall and got a fuss made of us by the lady's who were there. We didn't get any nibbles at all, just inky hands stroking our backs!

Back to The Sea Wall and we met Eric and Lady and her sister.

Hello young ladies!

Eric was saying how when he was younger he was kept outside in the garden for the first three years of his life and now he won't go in the garden after it gets dark 'cos he thinks he will get left out there!
 

When I was Pup...........

He had a cuddle with OTL and said that he would look out for him when he visits again!

As we headed off we saw Bryn sniffin around, so we stopped and said hello. He showed us a trick he had worked out, if he sat up on his tail he would get a nibble. Holly said that we try that but as we are all on a diet we never got any!

 There were fishermen sitting on the Sea Wall waiting for the tide to come in. It looked funny seeing them all ready and no water to fish in!

While the water was coming in we saw a couple of Hover Craft that went whooshing around the mud and over the water. It made a load of noise and went back and forth along the beach, Holly said that the driver was just showing off!

TM got back late afternoon and said that she was worn out and that she was going to have an early night. That means she will be up early tomorrow, thumping around the place waking everyone up!

Not sure what is planned for tomorrow, maybe another walk for Snowflake in the garden or even in the park, it just depends on the weather!

A Flying Barney and a Lonely Wormy Man!

Hi Woofers!

It's us, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back on Fun Friday!

The Missus was up early, getting all the stuff ready for the Saturday Master Class, so that means everyone else has to be awake as well and that includes Snowflake as well!

We all tried to go back to sleep but TM still carried on marching up and down the stairs and opening draws and cupboards!

So, that means Snowflake gets her house cleaned early and we go for a walk early as well!

Mind you, Snowflake did say that if TM came into the office while she was having a ferret around, she would chase her all around the room and down stairs!

I'm coming for you!

Down on The Sea Wall, the tide was out, so that means the Wormy Men should all be out there digging holes, but today, there was only one lonely looking Wormy Man digging for all he was worth!

Looking across to Sheerness was a sight, the sun had got up but not far enough to loose it's morning colours.

A sort of Changeable Weather Day today!

We climbed up to the top of the hill and there, in the distance, standing there, giving us the 'Hairy Eyeball' was Barney. Now I'm not sure if he has had his eyes tested lately but he didn't recognise us, so we all stood there staring at each other!

He would only walk towards us when his owner walked by his side, that was until Old Two Legs called out 'Baaarney' and that was it, down the path he came at the speed of light!

Here I go 'cos I can do it this way as well!

We left him to his new game and went off with OTL 'cos he was throwing the ball and we had our morning joke. That is where he shows me the ball and I woof at him to throw it!

Back home we had Doggy Scoff but this was a new one that OTL had got from the Doggy Shop, it was Duck & Chicken and didn't taste too bad, so we had some before we got our morning brush!

Lunch time we went off to the New Park again and had a great time. We were woofin and sniffin all the way around the park.

In the end we had almost run our legs off and I was feeling a little tired. Holly was feeling it also and although she hadn't done as much running as me, she still was feeling worn out!

OK, lets go home now!

As we got closer to the car, Holly looked at OTL and asked.......

......are we there yet?

 Back home to finish off the Doggy Scoff and have a snooze before our evening snooze!

Sunshine

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again on a super sunny day!

First of all a Big Woofin 'Hello' to Pauline who has been brave enough to let us know she is a 'Follower' of this Blog!

I mean, what's wrong with reading the thoughts of a three year old little doggy!

Unless your a cat, now a cat, they wouldn't be seen anywhere near my blog!

We were up a bit earlier this morning and Old Two Legs managed to get out a bit quicker than normal. It was all down to Snowflake being woken up by The Missus who walked into the office going 'Cooeee! Snowflake, are you awake yet?'

As Snowflake said, 'I wasn't but I am now!'

So that means OTL can get inside to do the house cleaning and Snowflake can get out for an early slurp of Ferretone and a run around the office while OTL is poo shovelling!

One of the good things about ferrets is that they are very clean animals, they always poo in the same spot, (unless the poo pile gets too high!) and they are obsessive  'Tidy Uppers!'

She is always running out, grabbing her toys and hiding them away in her 'Hidy Holes'.

This morning she hit the big one!

OTL was clearing up, Snowflake was running around, OTL left the Ferretone on the floor with a drop inside the flip type cap.

Snowflake had her lick and then managed to shut the cap down. Then she 'Tidied Up' the Ferretone and dragged the bottle off into her cardboard box where all the toys were stashed.

It was ages before OTL found the bottle!

Down on The Sea Wall we met up with Mrs Corvid who was mooching around looking for some breakfast. She said that the choice of sea food always gets bad during the Winter Time. Holly suggested that she might like to have a bit of Two Legs food, like Beef Burgers which really weren't beef but instead horse.

Mrs Corvid said that she couldn't do that 'cos she may be eating someone she had known!

No Neddies for me thank you!

I found some strange smelling stuff on the path, I jus' couldn't work out what it was, Holly says it might be Weasel or even a Stoat!

I asked how she knew that?

She said that a Weasel poo was Weasly recognised but a Stoat's is Stoatally different!

Watssis?

Oh No, I hear you groan, you should have heard what OTL said later.

We were walking along and he stopped, looked at us and said,

'Hey, you two, what should you put on your beef pie?'

'Dunno, what do you put on your beef pie?' we said

£5 each way, Boom Boom!

He is getting worse as he gets older!

Back in the car Holly noticed that the water bowl was missing and said that had she known it wasn't in the car, she would have had a drink from the puddle back down the path!

OTL gave us both a rub down with the towel to dry off but I was still a bit damp and slightly chilly, so, I looked at OTL and asked if I could have a cuddle on his lap until I warmed up!

I could really do with a cuddle!

He called me a wimp, but I still got my cuddle before we set off back home!

Lunch time we went down The New Park and the sun was shining but there was a slight breeze, which added to the balmy feel of the day, Spring is just around the corner!

Holly said that on days like this it really makes you feel good!

Feeling Good!

OTL and I were playing 'Chase The Ball', well I chased it and then he chased me to get the ball back! Holly was just enjoying the chat with the other dogs as we strolled along in the sun shine.

Holly said that just two days ago when we came here there was snow everywhere and just look at it now!

No Snow, just sunshine and showers!

There was one Spaniel and his owner enjoying a breather at the top of the hill and a bask in the sunshine!

Just having a breather girls, just a breather!

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow, maybe it will be sunny and we can go down the park again. I know that on Saturday we, that is Holly, Me and OTL are off to have a look at a Pet Hotel where Snowflake will stay when we go on holiday later this year.  Before booking her in OTL wants to make sure she will be happy and comfortable there and also if she can have her own cage, which you know is enormous! It's a pity we can't take Snowflake with us but OTL says she is not yet fully trained to go out visiting.

Holly says that it will be hard training a ferret to walk to heel, lets face it, we don't, unless OTL gets all 'Stroppy'!

Friday tomorrow and then the weekend!

Back to work for OTL and Snowflake has fun!

Hello all you Woofers out there!

Daisy & Holly & Snowflake back with you.

Wot a super day today, well most of it has been!

We were up early this morning and went out to find the pond was frozen! We could tell it was frozen 'cos when we tried to have a drink we just got a cold tongue!

It was a good walk this morning. First of all Old Two Legs spotted a Dunlin that he says was suffering from 'Horizontal Hold' problems!

 Then we bumped into a young Alsatian, she was only ten months old but you could see she was going to be a real looker when she gets older!

She was a bit nervous and wasn't too sure about OTL's camera!

Wassat?

 Then she got really worried, 'Look' she said, 'I can see a doggy in the window!'

I had to explain that she was looking at her own reflection in the camera glass! However, she still didn't seem to get it so in the end we let it go, I mean, there is such a thing as Too Much Information!

 When we got home we saw that in one picture of her eye, you could see OTL and the sun behind him!

There's OTL as well!

 We left her to carry on our walk and as we got to the top of the hill, there bounding along and calling our names was Barney!

He had his Bozo Mate with him, the one who thinks OTL is wonderful!

 We all had a chase around and I got a bit worried when the Labrador got a bit too excited and I had to do my 'Warning Woof' just to let them know I was not happy!

Holly of course just charged around with them woofing and running and running and woofing!

 It wasn't long before we were joined by the Staffy from down near the car park, carrying  her ball of course and also looking like a Bozo!

 Back home to a bowl of Doggy Scoff! Not our sort of breakfast thank you, we would rather have had chicken or beef steak or even some horse chops!

Holly has just looked over my shoulder to read wot I have said about her and she says that she would say 'neigh' to Horse Meat!

Oh, she is such a Wag sometimes!

OTL had to go out at lunch time to do some work so we stayed with The Missus who was preparing her stuff for the 'Master Class' this weekend.

We missed OTL while he was out but early evening he was back to a good 'Hello' lick from both Holly and me!

Then it was up stairs to see Snowflake and have a chat with her, then OTL let her out for a run around. She was playing with her squeaky toys and OTL was hiding them so she had to hunt for them. One time he did such a good job that she had to ask where they were and can she have them please!

Come on, please let me have my toys!

 She is very funny when she is chasing around trying to hide all her toys from OTL but he always seems to find them!

Now, where do I hide this one?

You see when OTL is playing with Snowflake he is having great fun and so is she. But, he is always very careful to keep his hands away from Snowflake's teeth!

Gently does it Snowflake!

 Snowflake has been sitting on OTL's lap and licking the Ferretone Bottle Cap into which OTL puts a drop and Snowflake says that it is the best bit of the day. Now we find that a bit strange 'cos during the day OTL gives her loads of 'drops' in that cap and she says that all of them are 'The Best Bit of The Day!'

It must be super having so many 'Best Bits!'
