We find our Long Lost Ball & The Wormy Man is almost Home!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here with some good news!

Today we found the ball that we had lost ages ago. Well, I left it in the grass and then couldn't find it again.

Today, as we walked along The Sea Wall, there, on the beach, was the ball!

That was it, Holly and I now had a ball each to chase. Mind you, it didn't stop us from fighting over the ball the other one had!

Come on, Throw Them Both!
Old Two Legs spotted the Wormy Man had nearly made it back to the beach. Mind you, I expect he will need a good long rub with a soapy cloth before he gets all the mud off!

Nearly Back again!
Back home it was Doggy Scoff, so we went into the garden to woof at the birds. Snowflake was out of Snowy Heights hunting around the office looking for rabbits and rats!

She was having a super time running in and out of the packing boxes OTL was trying to package up for his customers. In the end he emptied all the stuff out and joined in with the 'Toy Hunting' game!

We found a picture of her, taken a little while back, but it shows you how daft that ferret is, guess what she is sleeping in?

It's her Poo Pot!

Now of course, she sleeps in her Princesses bed, all wrapped up in blankets and with a hot water bottle!

We were going to take her with us at lunchtime for a run but OTL says that her tummy has yet to grow back the hair the vet shaved off. So we will wait until it gets a covering before taking her on an adventure with us!

Well, she might get a cold wet tummy and that's not very nice!

Lunchtime we saw a Wormy Man out on the mud, Holly says that he was looking for his mate with the white hat!

Anyone seen my Mate?
A sure sign that Spring is here, we saw our first butterfly today, it was a Small Tortoiseshell and was fluttering around the rabbit bushes looking for Nettles to feed on!

First Small Tortoiseshell this year!
After that it was down to pick up the big car after it's MOT, which it passed of course! While he was inside the shop OTL picked up some catalogue's on the new cars. Mmmmm, what has he in mind?

On the way back home, we stopped at the vets to pick up our prescription for the anti flea stuff and while we were there, Holly got weighed again.

Now, when the vet said she was over weight and was in need of loosing a half a kilo to keep him happy, Holly weighed in at 9.2Kg!

Seriously a 'Porky Puppy' and when she got weighed back in February she hadn't lost a gram!

So, here we were, back at the weighing machine with OTL hitting the 'Reset Button' and Holly asking if all of her had to be on the machine at the same time and could she leave her back legs on the floor!

'No, on you get' was the answer to that!

On she got.

We all looked at the electronic digital readout display that was hanging on the wall above the weighing machine.

8.8Kg!

Wow! Holly had lost almost half a Kilogramme!

Now is that something to be pleased about!

Well, Holly was dancing around the waiting room wiggling her backside and wobbling her tail as well! 'Look at ME!' she kept saying!

Back home we both had a carrot to celebrate the weight loss and OTL said he will have a whisky tonight as part of the celebration as well!

See you tomorrow!

We are Neglected and Ignored!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

We've got a complaint, all of us, and we want answers!

Or Else!

There we were, all loving and cuddly, that includes Snowflake as well, she hasn't tasted Old Two Legs blood for a whole twenty four hours!

I woke OTL up with a lick on top of his bald head, Holly gave him a cuddle before he got up and Snowflake licked his finger that he pressed it to the bars on Snowy Heights to say 'Good Morning'!

Then it started, phone calls, emails, more phone calls, fiddling about on the computer, more phone calls then more emails!

We got ignored!

When he finally took us out, it was sunny but a bit windy and we had to really shout to get him to throw the ball 'cos he was talking on the mobile phone!

The Ball PLEASE
Holly said that we shouldn't shout while he was on the phone but I said that it was to only way we could get through to him!

.......and I say we Shout!
We were making such a noise that a Ringed Plover asked us to 'Keep It Quiet' 'cos we were disturbing her breakfast!

I mean, what's more scary, a loud woofing or a big bird about to eat you?

Quiet please Girls!
So, we only got a little game of 'Chase The Ball' and before long we were back home for some late breakfast and a snooze.

We didn't see OTL all morning and when we went to see what he was doing, Snowflake said that he didn't have his mind on her normal game of 'Hunt The Toy' and it wasn't even going to be fun nipping him!

We managed to get OTL out at lunch time and it made a change to see the sun shining and the blue sky.

We stood guard at the car door looking out for any cats or woofers which is good fun 'cos when we see one we give it some really loud woofing!

'Cos we're safe inside the car!

See any Cats or Big Dopey Woofers?
Out on the mud we spotted a white 'Hard Hat' and told OTL that a Wormy Man had sunk!

Sunken Wormy Man!
Back home it was the same as this morning, OTL working and us snoozing! Snowflake got another run about chasing her squeaky toys but in the end decided to go back to bed!

So, sometimes these Two Legs are just no fun and I wouldn't mind, but too much work only makes them grumpy as well!

I hope it gets better tomorrow 'cos the big car is going in for an MOT and we may just get a run down The Forest, with The Missus as well!

Bye bye for now,

Luv,

Snowflakes Game With OTL!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you!

Hasn't the weather got better? I mean, it was well above freezing this morning and the wind had dropped to nothing!

Looks like we got a few days of sunshine ahead of us!

It was super on The Sea Wall, we 'Chased The Ball' and then chased some rabbits and Holly reckons that if she was just an inch faster, she would have had a rabbits tail to show Snowflake!

Another inch and it could have been Rabbit Pie!
I reckon she should get her eyes tested 'cos I saw that she was a good ten feet behind the rabbit!

We met up with some Labradors who, for a change, weren't chasing balls or falling all over Old Two Legs!

The little Westie was getting on a bit and said he didn't want a game but 'Thanks for Asking'

Thanks for the invitation girls.

Bozo was all over OTL as normal but even he didn't hang about too long 'cos he had caught the sniff of something further down the path.

Yo OTL!
When we got home, OTL was up in his office while we had our breakfast and of course, just because we weren't there, he let Snowflake out for a run around!

She collected up her toys and stored them in her new 'Cave', well it's a box that OTL will be packing stuff up in and sending off next week. Better keep Snowflake out of the box when that happens or she will end up in Norfolk!

........and this is my new Cave!

She was in a playful mood and showed it to OTL by giving him a couple of 'Love Bites' when she got excited and close enough!
Come on, tickle my tummy, if you can!
OTL was not too excited about getting nipped!

She spent some time chasing her toys around, especially when OTL started moving them from inside her cave!

Then she chased her 'Mouse' around. This is a 'Pretend Mouse' that used to squeak when you moved it but the batteries ran out and Snowflake managed to rip the squeaky thing out!

OTL sat down with some cord and sewed the mouse back together again, so now she chases the mouse around as OTL jiggles it about!

Gotcha Mousy Mousy!
After the game she went back to Snowy Heights and OTL put her toys back in, so, because she is such a tidy ferret, she put them into her Sssssh bed and then went down to her new bed and fell asleep in there!

Snowflakes a Tidy Ferret!
 Aaah!
Lunchtime came and we were out again the sun was shining but there was a little wind blowing as well, I hope that's not a bad sign!

OTL said that it was the first time for ages that he had to set the camera white balance to 'Sunshine'!

You just can't please everyone!

I was doing my 'Digging For England' trick and managed to loose the ball in the pile of sand! OTL had to come down and dig it out himself!

Where's me ball gone?
OTL saw a Redshank wandering around the pools looking for some lunch!

Lunch time!

It was so warm that Holly and I decided to have a race along the bank of the Sea Wall, Holly said it was like an American Stock Car race!
Brrrrrrrrm   Brrrrrrrrrm!

We were going so fast that OTL had to lean over the side of the wall to catch us!

When we got back home, Holly and I had a snooze after OTL gave us a brush and a dose of the Anti Flea stuff that makes our shoulders all wet and smelly for a few hours! Mind you, we have never had any problems with fleas!

Snowflake had some more time outside Snowy Heights, chasing her toys around as OTL moves them after she has hidden them!

Hey! This cave has a trap door!

She had a fun time with her 'Cave' and hid all her toys there in the end!

Look! There are four doors on my cave!
She said 'Just let OTL try to get my toys now' you see the 'Cave' is about four feet long and OTL's arm is not that long!

Let's see him get them now!
Tonight we have a choice, a DVD or a film on the TV. I reckon we should hold a vote but the trouble is, there could be five options with five voters and five different results!

Mind you, I did get to see my favourite film last night, 'Babe' and I joined in calling out to the sheep and woofing at the sheep dogs and then cheering as the pig won the sheep dog trials!

I'll let you know what happens!

See you tomorrow!

Dancing Oyster Catcher and The New Park

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you!

Snowflake has said that her new bed is really 'The Business' and she says that it is so easy to move around!

Yesterday PeterC said that her bed should be secured with large safety pins. Is he joking? As Snowflake says 'She eats them for Breakfast!'

So it looks like OTL will be making her bed for her for the foreseeable future!

On our walk this morning we saw an Oyster Catcher waving his leg around to get the invertebrates to move so he can get his breakfast.

You put you left leg in............!
I shouted out that he should try jumping up and down with both legs but he said that if I could do any better I should get out there!

Jump, go on JUMP!
I said that I got my breakfast waiting for me when I get home!

It was just then when Mrs Corvid came flying past with a bit of a whelk, 'Got My Starter' she called out!

Got my breakfast Starter!
We carried on and in the distance we spotted a rabbit, sitting in the middle of the path. It was shouting to us to try and catch him! Has he got a death wish or wot!

Come on if you think your fast enough!
Well, we were more interested in a particularly interesting sniff, as Holly said, 'We'll get him another time!'

No Thanks, got better things to do!
Back home we had breakfast, Doggy Scoff, followed by a snooze while Old Two Legs was working away in the office. He got going with his work  and we jumped up on the bed for our snooze. It was then that Snowflake decided she wanted a run around, so, with all her toys and with the help of the boxes OTL was planning to package up the stuff, Snowflake had a super time moving the toys about and terrorising OTL by climbing up his leg and stopping him working on the computer!

Finally he had enough and stopped work to play with her!

Lunch time we got to go down The New Park and we had a great run around, chasing OTL and the ball and each other!

Come on, lets have a game!
We were running and playing and as we started to climb the hill up to The Watchers. Holly was puffing a bit and was complaining that the hill was getting steeper every time she climbed it!

This is getting steeper!
I said that it was she was carrying more weight up the hill every time she climbed it!

A bit later we met up with this scruff bag looking dog who started to sniff our tails without getting permission, so I got all big and brave and woofed him away and chased him down the path and OTL called me a 'Big Brave Girl!'

GerroffoutofhereyourudewooferorI'llbiteyourtailoff!
Holly met up with Barry who said that he could run faster than both of us and he had chased rabbits back down their holes and he could go anywhere he wanted!

Holly did point out that he was still on a lead and he could only run about six feet with that attached!

At least she wasn't on a lead and could run free, if she so desired, so there!

Go on, your lead is pulling you!
Because it is Saturday, the park is full up with loads of Two Legs and dogs having walks and games. We met up with a a youngster who was jumping around all over the place looking for a game, we had a chase but he was a bit too big for me and Holly said he was too fast for her!

Come on, lets have a run!
Back home we were both worn out, back up to our beds for a well earned afternoon snooze.

The Missus was watching the F1 testing which we found a bit boring, so that helped us to fall asleep even quicker!

Snowflake was still sleeping, (in her new bed), but we reckon she will be up this evening for another chase around with OTL!

We see that the weather is going to get better over the next few days, so who knows, OTL might be out in the garden getting it finished before long!

See you tomorrow!

Funny Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again.

You will be glad to know that Snowflake is enjoying her new bed. First of all Old Two Legs put her sleeping blanket in the new bed to show her that was where she sleeps now.

So she threw the blanket out straight away!

Next she did her Ferret House Moving thing, that's where she gets behind things and heaves them around the place until she is satisfied they are in the correct position, (sometimes up side down!).

Finally, with the bed at a forty five degrees angle, the bed is now resting on the floor and her poo tray, she climbs in and falls asleep!

This morning OTL cleans Snowy Heights out and replaces the bed so it is flat on the ground and comfortable for her.

When she went back in there after her run around the office, she was worn out 'cos OTL had been playing with her, having a 'Chase the Ball' game.

What he does is to get her squeaky ball, give it a squeak and she rushes up, grabs the ball and runs off to hide it, then OTL squeaks the next ball and off she goes again.

When OTL runs out of balls, he grabs the first one  from the hiding place and gives it a squeak and off she goes again!

A game like that can go on until she falls exhausted onto the carpet and refuses to play any more until she has a drop of Ferretone and a slurp of water!

Before we left for our walk, we had a look at Snowflake and there she was, exhausted and curled up in her new bed!
A bit Tired, but I'll Be Back!
Down on The Sea Wall it was raining, so on with our coats and off for a run!

We played 'Chase The Ball' 'cos it was the new ball and it bounced so high we sometimes lost sight of it!

Holly soon got fed up 'cos it just flew through the air and sped off down the path, too fast for her!

I carried on and at one time I tried tricking OTL into believing I had found another ball in the hole on the beach!

Look! I got another ball!
The rain started to get heavier and with wind blowing as well the wet started to dribble down out necks and up under the coats!

Come on OTL, get on with this walk, we want to go home!

So that was it, the ball back in his pocket and off we go!

Holly was leading the way and as normal, was in a hurry to get back, food was calling!

Come on you two, I'm Starving!
On the way we spotted some Two Legs walking along but without a dog!

They ain't got a dog, is that allowed?
Back home to some greasy chicken and biscuits and a snooze with OTL in the office. You know what? That ferret was still snoring her head off in the new bed!

Relaxed! Really Relaxed!
Lunchtime was OK for walking 'cos the rain had stopped but the wind was still blowing in off the sea. I for one will be glad when it warms up a bit and OTL can take Snowflake out for a run with us!

Now that will confuse the Two Legs when they see her!

Come on! I'm Ready for our Game!
We had a bit of a chase and a sniff then back to work for OTL and he hasn't been out of the office all afternoon!

This Working Thing is sooo BORING!
Poor lad, but if he wants to keep us in Doggy Scoff and chews then he has to do it!

He put a big box down and some of his stuff in a big plastic bag.

Mmmm! What's This?
You know, the next thing we see is Snowflake trying to pinch it all and hide it where she keeps her squeaky toys!

Do you think he will notice they have gone?
That was it, back into Snowy Heights she went and as soon as she got there, she showed off 'cos she wanted to come out again!

Well, maybe later when all the work is done!

See you tomorrow!

Presents for Snowflake.

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

It has been one of those 'Busy Busy' days, you know, the sort that just fly by without you knowing. One minute we were trying to decide on getting up for our morning stroll and the next here I am pounding away at the keyboard trying to get the blog sorted before Old Two Legs shuts the office down for the night!

We started off with our walk along The Sea Wall, trying to play 'Chase The Ball' with the ball that now has more holes than ball, if you know what I mean.

We spotted a Wormy Man with his party clothes on, looking all bright and colourful, I suppose the bright colours are what are called 'High Viz' so and passing ships don't run him over!

High Viz Wormy Man!

Around the corner we heard 'Hellooo Girlie's!'

Guess Who Girlie's?
It was Barney with his mates going out for a stroll as well. The other two dogs, Charlie and Bozo spent all the time play fighting, other than when they said 'hello' to OTL, then they went back to fighting again!

Yo OTL!
Back home The Missus had cooked up some beef meat for us, or it could have been horse, or donkey for all we knew, but it tasted very nice thank you!

OTL was doing his 'Engineering' bit in the office and soon had some stuff to send out, so, without stopping for lunch, off we went again for a stroll on the Sea Wall.

Holly and I did the ball chasing and this time we dug a hole in the beach and buried the ball in it and dug it up again, just so OTL would think we had found another ball!

Honest! We did find a new one down the hole!
It didn't work 'cos the ball was too light and it even squeaked, so OTL wasn't fooled!

OK, we were joking!
After that it was straight down to the carrier and just when we thought we were going to get a second lunchtime walk, we ended up in the tyre place for a new front tyre.

We woofed at the man who took the wheel off and when he came to see what the mileage was on the speedometer we wouldn't let him in the car!

We both threatened to tear his legs off if he opened the car door!

Next stop was the Doggy Shop!

You Two Legs just don't know what you are missing, that place is so full of sniffs we could stay there for a month and still not get tired of sniffin!

OTL loaded up the basket with Doggy Scoff, but this stuff we don't mind too much and mostly eat it if we don't get fresh meat!

Then he put a pack of one of those dog teeth cleaning chews in the basket, so that was something to look forward to!

Around the corner were the bins full of balls. There were loads of different types. soft ones, squeaky ones, small bouncy ones and ones that had a tinkly bell inside to drive you mad!

We chose the hard bouncy ones we reckon are good for chasing and bouncing along the path!

OTL even put two packs of those in the basket!

Then he had a mooch around and stopped at a place where they had sort of beds and tunnels made of plastic.

It was when he showed us that we knew it was a bed for a ferret! Well, to us it looked like a big slipper for a big paw, but we could see how a ferret could sleep in there!

Well, it makes a change from the Poo Pot!

She has tried it out and reckons that it is comfortable and it may just get a bit warm but it was worth trying out.

So she did!

When she woke up, she forgot where she was and thinking she was still in the Poo Pot, she fell out of bed and banged her chin on the floor!

Soppy Ferret!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake (Still sleeping!)

TM tries her hand at video!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here.

It's been another one of those chilly, windy sort of days that the best place to be is inside cuddled up to a warm place!

We decided that this morning when we went down to the sea for our walk. It was still a North East wind, not as cold but cold enough!

We played our game of 'Chase The Ball' and again Holly joined in the fun. That was until she bit into it a bit harder than she should have. It now has a hole in it and when Old Two Legs tried to throw it, it wouldn't bounce along the path, instead it went, Thud, and didn't bounce!

In fact, I've seen a wet dish cloth with more bounce than our ball!

This time it's Mine but the Bounce has gone!
That was it, no bounce and it went Hissss when I grabbed it!

Holly had some fun making rude noises by biting down hard on the ball and holding her tail up at the same time!

Can you hear this?
Holly decided that it would be good fun to chase a wader type bird across the mud but when she got to the edge decided she didn't want a bath when she got home and slowly backed onto the beach proper!

Well, maybe not!
She came dashing up the beach shouting 'Watch Me!' and then did a big jump up to the path, not bad for a Porky Puppy!

A Flying Holly!
After we had our 'Morning Snooze' that lasted until lunch time, The Missus got out her iPad thingy that has a movie camera built in and told OTL to get Snowflake out of bed for some video!

It all sounded like she knew what she was doing, there was a lot of, 'Quiet on Set' and 'Action!'

After the first 'Take' she couldn't find the video file and worked out in the end that she hadn't pressed to button to 'Record'!

Wot a Plonker!

So, we did 'Take Two' but when it was finished, the file was too long to send by email and she has yet to find a way of transferring the file to OTL's computer to be 'Edited'

It looks like we will try to do it again tomorrow, fingers crossed!

News Flash!

Have a look down the bottom of the blog, OTL reckons he may have loaded a shot or two but you may need to look sideways 'cos TM didn't know how to hold the camera!

When we got back to the Sea Wall at lunch time the tide was in and we saw a funny sight. A load of 'Mini Two Legs' marching along the path with their teachers yelling out for them to 'Keep in Line'!

Why they had to keep in line I have no idea, maybe it's a 'Teacher' thing?

OK, Keep in Line at the back!
It just fascinated me to see them marching along in a line, especially as the teachers were getting all excited about 'Keeping in Line'.

Strange, very strange!

Left, Right, Left, Right,Keep in Line!
The tide was right in and the wind was blowing the salt spray all over the place and OTL had to hide his camera to prevent it from getting wet!

High Tide!
In the afternoon, OTL was all busy with his work and even went out twice to deliver stuff, without us!

Now that is seriously bad, I mean, us, left at home!

We are going to have a chat with Snowflake to see if we can get her to chase TM all around the room when she gets her iPad thingy out again, now that should be fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Super Star Snowflake!
