Rain? Again?

Hello Woofers!

It's the Gang back again!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

Just what happened to the sun? One moment Old Two Legs was bitching about getting sun burn on the back of his neck and then he is worrying about getting rusty!

We went out this morning thinking it was just a cloud or two covering the sun but instead we landed up getting soaking wet and even OTL had to put on his waterproof gear!

Snowflake sensibly decided to stay at home and go back into her bed for her 'After Get up Snooze'!

Back home we got a good rub down with our towels and a brush, followed by some Chicken & Biscuits which I must say, went down a treat!

OTL was busy all morning messing about in his office while Snowflake rampaged through the stationery cupboard and the drawers throwing the contents all over the place!

OTL said it was funny hearing her sorting everything out a chuckling at the same time!

Yesterday PeterC said that his ferret, Peccadillo, does what Snowflake does, she lies down, just when she doesn't want to do what everyone else is doing! OTL calls it 'Showing Off'! We think it's because she has found a good 'Ferret Sniff'!

Mind you, this weekend, OTL says he is going to have a go at cleaning Snowflakes ears, now this is something we just got to see, it was bad enough clipping her claws but ear cleaning and there is only five gallons of Ferretone in stock!

Lunchtime came and off we went again but this time the sun had come back but it was still a bit damp under claw! 

and it's still a bit damp!

We decided that it was better on the beach and I even found a couple of very interesting 'High Tide Sniffs!'

Mmmm Interesting or Wot!

As it was high tide there was loads of stuff floating past The Sea Wall and one tin can was just bobbing about just off shore, so we both had a woof at it and OTL threw a couple of stones at it, he missed!

It might be dangerous!

Of course, while we were 'Sniff Chasing' OTL was looking at the light and trying to find some interesting sight. This one is a reflection of a white cloud, we thought it was boring but I suppose it's better that looking at Holly's backside!

Reflections!

 Mid afternoon we got put back in the car and off we went to do some Baby Sitting, I think I'd rather be stretched out on the sofa having my tummy stroked, but you can't win them all!

Saturday tomorrow and OTL has a load of jobs he plans to do, bet you he will be lucky to get one done!

Us Again!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

We have been busy little puppies today, up early to remind Old Two Legs he has a lot to do today. He said that we should try waking him up at six and not a four thirty 'cos he needs his sleep!

He can be so picky sometimes!

Out for our walk along The Sea Wall and Snowflake came with us. She is really getting into this walking lark. She trots along, on her lead and most of the time heads in  the same direction as us!

In fact, there are times when she gets a really good gallop on and poor OTL has to almost trot to keep up with her!

We kicked up a rabbit and it was so near that I just had to give out a big whooping war cry as I set off after it!

Holly was steaming as well and we chased this rabbit all over the place!

OTL took one look and carried on walking Snowflake back to the car and by the time he got back we had almost run out of places to look for that rabbit!

Back home we got a brush, some Chicken & Biscuits but before we could sneak off for a snooze, we were put in the back of the car to go out delivering stuff!

Snowflake said that she would pass on the delivery bit 'cos she was going to have an 'After Walkies Snooze' !

We drove for miles and miles and ended up in Croydon at the football pitches where Holly and I used to go for a run when we visited Grandma.

It was great! Sunshine, loads of space to run and OTL kicking the ball about all over the place and no water for it to roll into!

The only down side was OTL didn't take his camera out with him at all today, this morning it was too much for him, Two Dogs and a Ferret are a handful at any time and this afternoon it was all rush and tear!

So, maybe some pictures tomorrow to make up for it!

Rabbits and a new roof!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you!

Today has been an 'Interesting Day'. We started off this morning with Old Two Legs taking us down The Sea Wall and not seeing much to interest him at all. Birds had all gone and there wasn't even another woofer to say 'Hello' to!

It was only at the end of the walk did it get interesting 'cos we saw a rabbit in the distance bouncing up and down in the grass, well what do you expect us puppies to do?

Is that a............Rabbit?

 I did the spotting, then Holly did the Charging!

Yes It Is!!!!!!!!

 Then we lost it, we dived into the grass and the bushes and around the tree but all of a sudden it wasn't there any more!

I'm a Sneaky Wabbit and you can't catch Me!

It wasn't until OTL showed us the pictures that we understood why he was laughing at us so much!

We had run past the rabbit and it had gone back to it's home in the bushes!

Well, we had the last laugh 'cos he spent most of the day climbing all over the shed roof replacing the Bitumen covering that had sprung a leak. Poor OTL, ripping all the old stuff of and then putting the new stuff on and having to slosh the adhesive all over the place as well!

He even managed to get a sun burnt neck!

We took Snowflake out after lunch for a wander along The Sea Wall and she got stroked by a couple of Two Legs who started off thinking she was a very small dog!

You know, not all the Bozo's have four legs!

Tomorrow we are off to do some deliveries with OTL and he has promised us a run on the football fields we used to go on when we went to visit Grandma!

Snowflake comes with us for a walk!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

What a super day it has been today, I don't think the sun has stopped shining all day!

We were out this morning for our walk and Snowflake asked if she could come along as well!

Holly and I were happy to have her along with us and she promised not to keep running backwards along the way we had already come!

Well, have a look at the video and make up your own mind, but I tell you, it took twice as long to walk along The Sea Wall than normal!




Holly and I went out with Old Two Legs to do some deliveries and we got two walks! One in a place I had visited a couple of years ago and got lost!

This time Holly and I didn't get lost but we did have a good run around and we chased rabbits that had been there but now were safe in their burrows!

The second walk was down on The Sea Wall, but this time Snowflake wasn't with us, so the walk wasn't as long as this mornings!

Back home to a bowl of Doggy Scoff!

Well, you can't win them all!

A Monochrome Day!

Hello Woofers!

It's the Daisy, Holly & Snowflake Show!

First things first, 'Well Done' to Andrea, she finished the London Marathon but after crossing the finishing line she was rushed off to the Medical Tent for some treatment. Nothing serious and she was let out and packed off home! As her running mate said, ' I was a bit worried at the time, but she still had her makeup on!'

Snowflake decided it may be a bit too chilly this morning for a run, so she said that she would have a run at Lunch Time!

Off we went with Old Two Legs, now we know he is as old as the hills and on top of that he is going deaf and his eyes are not too good. What is worse is he is getting forgetful, I can see that one day he will forget where home is and we'll all be lost!

Today he took his camera with him but for some reason he had left it set on Monochrome (Black & White), so all today's pictures look 'Old Fashion'!

I'm not sure if I like them or not.

This one is OTL's favourite.

 Of course, Miss Holly Show Off just had to get in and do one of her 'Poses'.....Tart!

 Snowflake says she likes this one, obviously she's got no taste!

We went out at lunch time and Snowflake came with us, rushing along, sniffin and snuffling, jus' like us!

She had a stroll on the beach and then decided to have a poo, so OTL picked it up, as he does, and then off we went again.

Along the path came a man driving a small tractor with some grass cutting machinery on the back. He stopped and had a word with OTL. It seems that the 'Three Man Bins' that have been put up will accept the poo bags from all the dog walkers, OTL asked if that includes Ferret Poo as well!

We didn't have the camera 'cos OTL gets a bit flustered, two dogs and a ferret plus a camera!

Snowflake did the whole one mile walk and a bit more 'cos she kept going back to check up on a sniff she had missed!

She also got into 'Hunting Mode' 'cos she started to chase down some of the mouse runs in the grass!

Back home we all had an afternoon snooze, except OTL who was busy manufacturing stuff, he makes so much noise!

Snowflake does her second Marathon

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy,, Holly & Snowflake.

We just love Sundays, OTL gets an extra five minutes in bed before we throw him out and take over the bed. The Missus gets up early, as normal, but doesn't turn on the 'Jet Powered Vacuum Cleaner' until OTL is in the shower!

Snowflake was getting all excited because she wanted to come with us, but before that, she wanted a slurp of Ferretone!


We took Snowflake with us again this morning and although she was shivering a bit to begin with, she had a great time sniffin the sniffs with us and OTL had fun not only picking up doggy poo, but today he also picked up Ferret Poo as well!

He said that he had 'Had a Result' 'cos we all had a poo close together and he only used one 'Poo Bag' for all of us!

That's what he means by having a Result, one Poo Bag, I mean, just how tight can he be!

He gets all happy over the strangest of things!

We didn't take the camera 'cos OTL says that two dogs and a ferret are enough for him to worry about without the camera as well! We did get stopped by some visitors who were walking along the Sea Wall and they took a picture of Snowflake, so she got her picture on someones camera after all!

OTL's daughter, Andrea, was running in the London Marathon today, dressed as Elvis, so we spent this morning in front of the TV trying to spot her in the crowd.

Of course, we didn't see her, too many other runners! We were tracking her via the web and saw that she finished in 4hrs 53mins 23sec, which is a darn sight faster than OTL could manage, even if he went on his bike!

Well done Andrea!

Our lunch time walk was most enjoyable 'cos the sun was out and OTL managed to find another ball for us to play with and this time the tide was out, so no chance of it floating away on the tide!

Can't Catch Me!

 Mind you, I did have a little paddle in the muddy pools and got a bit of mud on my paws, but not too much and it all came off before I got back into the car....................I think!

 Holly and I had some fun playing 'Chase' with the ball, which was a little unusual 'cos she 'Doesn't do Balls' normally, maybe it was the sun that changed her mind!

There is one thing that Holly loves and that is Sunshine! She is always in a good mood when the sun is warm on her back!

 Of course, while we were playing, OTL was hunting around the blossom looking for insects and this is what he found!

As busy as a Bumble Bee!

 Busy Bee, Busy Bee, Buzz if you want but don't buzz me!

A Super Day out with OTL and Snowflake!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here again!

Today's blog is shared between Snowflake and me, just for fun!

We were up early and because The Missus was off to her 'Crop' and because the sun was shining we decided that Snowflake should come out with us for our morning walk!

When we got back, Old Two Legs and Snowflake played a game which was sooo funny!

Later on, we went out to deliver some stuff and ended up in The New Park. Snowflake stayed at home 'cos she said she was too tired to go running in a place full of dogs!

So, here is the story a little late, but it takes so long to upload the video!

We have just spotted that OTL can't spell 'New', he is getting worse!

Dampish Friday!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's us back again, Daisy, Holly and Snowflake!

After last night, we were a bit late in getting up, well, Old Two Legs had to get up at the normal time 'cos Snowflake was rattling her door wanting to have her morning slurp of Ferretone and then a rampage around the house!

We stayed in bed but The Missus got up and wandered around the house half asleep, as normal!

OTL had Snowflake out in the office while he cleared her Poo Pot and changed the drinking water. TM decided to march straight into the office with OTL's rabbit food breakfast, not remembering that if the door is shut, Snowflake is on the loose!

There was a sort of 'Dramatic Gasp' and TM stood at the door with just a cup of tea in her hand. She had put OTL's rabbit food down on the floor and Snowflake was licking the milk out of the bowl!

Quick thinking by TM but OTL had to fight Snowflake for his breakfast!

Off down to The Sea Wall where the tide was on it's way out, leaving the mud flats all wet with water, OTL said he liked the reflection of the light and the rain clouds on the horizon.

What ever turns you on, as they say!

It's the light you see.....................no, I don't!

Holly thought that hunting for rabbits was more interesting than looking at the wet mud, so off she went playing the 'Big Black & White Hunter' Not that she found any but it was more interesting than wet mud!

Who is interested in Mud?

Back home it was Doggy Scoff and I was a bit peckish, so I had a chew from Holly's bowl first, then a nibble from mine. It didn't taste any better , but if your hungry, then anything will do!

We met up with young Barney #2 who got so excited to see us and get let off the lead as well. His owner says that we are the only digs he will allow Barney to play with!

That dog has a need to run and run he does! He ran around and kept bumping into me so I had to give him the 'Warning Woof' but being a puppy I don't suppose he really understood that I don't like his wet cold nose under my tail!

 He tried the same trick with Holly but she gave him a couple of woofs and he settled down, 'Settling Down' to him is 'reduce speed to 100mph'!

Watch it, Barney coming through!

 OTL was still working in the afternoon so we did what we do best, we had another snooze!

OTL has taught Snowflake a super funny trick and tomorrow when TM is out at her 'Glitter & Glue' party, OTL is going to try to film Snowflake doing it!

OK, that's all that really happened today but the weekend is here so we may have an adventure, providing it stops raining!

Another Marathon and we do some baby sitting!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

We have had a super day today, loads of fun when Snowflake came with us for a run at lunch time and we spotted the first Wheatear to come back to The Sea Wall this year as well!

All of a sudden the trees have started to bloom, well the flowers have all come out on some of the thorn trees!

We even met up with Mercury, he is that Bozo Labrador that has fallen in love with Old Two Legs!

Lunch time came and we were out again, this time Snowflake was with us and for a change, OTL left the camera in the car. He reckons that two dogs and a ferret was all he could handle at one time and the camera will have to wait for another day!

Snowflake did the whole mile circuit this time and she even met up with those pair Max and Oscar! They were both barking at Snowflake who was cuddled up in OTL's hand 'cos he picked her up when they got close. She just curled into a ball and looked down at them and stuck her tongue out, which only made them bark even more!

Good on yer girl!

Well, by the time we finished the walk Snowflake said she was getting tired!

We saw some men who had put up a nesting box for Barn Owls and of course, OTL just had to stop and have a chat with them!

Mind you, it certainly looked 'The Business', as far as bird boxes go!

We have been out tonight doing some Baby Sitting at The Girls house (that is Sassy and Tilly) which was OK, we had a game and a run around but after they had gone to bed, well, there was nothing much to do except sleep! We couldn't go woofing in the garden 'cos we were told we couldn't wake the neighbours up and we couldn't chase the chickens and we couldn't chase the rabbits, boring really!

We had fun but we were glad to get back home again!

Smelly Nelly's R Us!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

What a super day it has been, sunshine, Snowflake does a Marathon and we get a wash!

It all started off this morning when we got up, well, Old Two Legs got up after I had given him a 'Wake Up' lick behind his ear!

Snowflake was rattling on her door 'cos she wanted a run around and fancied chasing some of her squeaky balls!

OTL said he would sort her out, she was coming for a walk along The Sea Wall with us!

Off we went and Snowflake didn't try to get out of her carry cage, she had worked out that if OTL puts her in the cage then good things happen, except when she gets taken to the vet!

Down on the Sea Wall she was let out and off we all went. Except for a couple of times when OTL had to pick her up 'cos she wanted to go the other way, Snowflake did the same walk as us, about a half of a mile!

Now that is some serious running for a ferret, it is like a Two Legs running the marathon!

When we got back, she had a bite to eat and then went to bed until lunchtime when she had another nibble of her ferret nuggets and went back to sleep!

 OTL took us out with him when he went to do some deliveries and we ended up in The New Park!

Just as we got through the gate a big hairy hound came behind us and I was a bit worried he might eat us, but it turned out he was a big softy and he even gave Holly a cuddle!

 When I saw how much of a softy he was I got all big and brave, and while he was looking the other way, I risked a sniff, as you do!

A Sneaky Sniff!

 We had our normal run around and even went along the path where the horses have a run, we didn't see any but we did come across a Super Sniff!

Well, the sniff was so strong and so good and so squidgy and so spread out, we just had to have a roll!

It was a Super Roll and we didn't even take any notice when OTL started to jump up and down and shout at us and even when he was calling us 'Smelly Nelly's'

It doesn't get any better than this Sis!

 We got a rub down with the industrial strength hand wipes when we got back to the car and when we got back home, it was a full wash down from our head to our tail!

Was it worth it?

You betcha is was!
