Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here with some good news!

Still waiting!

Snowflakes Omelet  has started! Well, there is one egg at the bottom of the nest!

Sparrow Omelet?

 Even The Missus came to have a look and we also saw Mrs Sparrow having a breather on the nest box roof!

One down, another five to go!

So, Spring is here and everything is growing, we just wish the Sun would come out to play!

We went out this morning but Snowflake stayed at home 'cos it was too windy and cold for her. She said she would stay and look after the Sparrows nest!

We of course enjoyed a 'Doggy Run' where we went where we wanted to go rather than where Miss Snowflake wanted to go, and, it didn't take nearly as long to get around to the Rabbit Hunting Ground!

Look! No Ferret!

We spent the afternoon looking out of the window waiting for Old Two Legs to return 'cos he has been out doing 'Important Stuff', not sure what it is but he says it's 'Important!'


Now he is back, we can have a cuddle and then see if we can mug some of his dinner!

Holly has just finished her 'List', that is the stuff she is going to take away on holiday, most important is her bikini!

OTL reckons the most important is Anti Midge Lotion!

I reckon a good Chew is important!

I see we will be discussing this tonight over a bit of shortbread!

We've got Lodgers!

Hello Woofers!

We are here again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

What a rotten day, it has been raining on and off for most of today and why does it always start to rain the moment we put out noses out of the door!

Still, we had our coats on so it wasn't so bad, just a little damp!

This morning we had a walk around The Farm 'cos OTL was busy and had to go out early. That also means that The Missus didn't take her camera out with her, so that means no photos!

We reckon that she doesn't take the camera out 'cos Old Two Legs set it up for taking pictures of her cards and now she is too scared to play with any of the controls!

OTL being out means that life in the house hold is a bit, 'Boring', so, to help pass the time and also making a change from snoozing, which is not so bad but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing, know what I mean?

Well, there I was, sitting in OTL's office, flicking through the TV channels when I came across the section that shows all the other stuff he has connected to the TV, like, Computer and AV1 and AV2 and HMDI2.

One of these showed the inside of the bird box we have got, just outside the window.

I was just about to change channel again when this Sparrow appeared on the screen with some bits of grass in is beak and he proceeded to build a nest!

I was facinated and so was Snowflake, who was watching from Snowy Heights! Hey Up! Says Snowflake, does Sparrow taste like chicken? ('cos she likes raw chicken legs) 'No idea' says I thinking the same thing!

So, out comes OTL's camera and we try to capture a shot!

New Lodger!

When we told OTL about it he said that the last sparrows who nested there we a messy pair and kept covering up the lens with bits of grass 'cos the didn't like OTL and TM watching them hatch out the eggs!

The male sparrow seems to be in the nest all the time, pushing and poking the grass and trying to make it all soft and warm.

So we will be keeping a close eye on what happens and already Snowflake is researching on the internet to find out if you can make a decent omelet out of sparrows eggs, but I don't think OTL will allow that!

Snowflakes Two Outing Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you again!

It has been all fun and games today, first of all, I decided to wake Old Two Legs up good and early so I jumped up on the bed and started licking his ear, trouble was, I had to sit on The Missus's head to get to OTL.

TM didn't like me sitting on her head, so she shoved me onto OTL and he said that if I didn't take my paw out of his ear he'd unscrew my tail so I'd never be happy again!

Well, that's the last time I give him an early morning lick!

Snowflake came out with us for a walk along The Sea Wall and while she was leading OTL over the hill and far away, we headed to the Rabbit Hunting Ground!

I got filthy, I was so filthy that OTL took me home and washed me all over!

Lunch time we were informed that TM was going to join us on our walk AND Snowflake said that she was going to come along as well!

We got to the car park and out we all jumped, then Snowflake said it was a bit chilly and immediately shot up OTL's arm and ducked into his hood! 

Where's the toilet?

We both called her a wimp but she wouldn't come out until we got over the hill!

So, with TM watching us and OTL watching Snowflake we all enjoyed chasing sniffs, and sharing them!

This is a good one!

 Then we headed back over the hill 'cos Snowflake decided that was the way she wanted to go and she wasn't waiting for anyone!

Follow me, I know where I'm going!

Back down the hill we some how found ourselves in the Rabbit Hunting Ground, as normal!

Before we got put on the lead again, Snowflake showed us one of her tricks, camouflage!

She says she attended the SAS course, (Sneaky Animal Seminar) and learnt loads of sneaky tricks!

Well, we couldn't see her!

Back home we all crashed out and spent the afternoon snoozing!

Now it is dinner time, so off we go and Snowflake is still crashed out, no stamina!

A Fun Sunday at Home!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake, and we got up late this morning!

After the late night last night we sort of stayed in bed a bit longer than normal and Holly didn't even get up on the bed to get away from Snowflake! Mind you, she was late in getting up as well!

It was a sunny morning with a bit of a breeze blowing but that didn't stop Snowflake from dancing along The Sea Wall. I don't know what it is with that ferret but she always wants to go the opposite way! Sometimes she shows off and when she thinks Old Two Legs has pulled enough on her lead, she turns around, wiggles her backside and tries to reverse out of the harness she has on! We know she can get out 'cos she has done it before but OTL is crafty, he releases the tension on the lead and she wriggles backwards but there is no chance of her getting out!

Mind you, that doesn't stop her trying!

Back home it was the 'Big Tidy Up' as OTL sorted and put away all his gear, we of course had breakfast and retired for our 'After Breakfast Snooze' which is one of our favourite snoozes of the day!

Lunch time came and we headed off to the rubbish tip to get rid of some old boxes and other stuff and you know, we were so near to The Forest, well, we just had to have a run to find a squirrel or two!

Too many Two Legs!

Well, we hunted and we hunted but due to the great number of 'Two Legs' running around looking for squirrels, they scared them all off!

Was that one or a big bird?

So, that was it, OTL was off looking for Bluebells and 'Interesting Flowers' but what with us woofin at all the other dogs he had his time cut out!

That was it, after a run around it was back home before the rain started!

OTL spent the afternoon processing and printing the photographs he took yesterday and I must admit, they ain't too bad!

Tonight we plan to mug OTL for some shortbread 'cos we know he has got a bottle of whisky he plans to open and lets face it, if there's whisky then there must be shortbread!

Watching OTL Work!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here, it's late at night and we have only just got in after a day watching Old Two Legs doing some photography work!

We had our run this morning and chased a couple of rabbits back down their holes but OTL wouldn't let us hang about sniffing and poking around the bushes!

Back home we were shoved into the big car, together with a load of camera stuff and The Missus and off we went.

Well, to cut a long story down to the basics, OTL spent most of the day with his camera. We spent most of the time bored brainless and TM spent all day gassing!

So now, at 23:30hr we can hardly keep our eyes open, so we're off to bed.

OTL is in with Snowflake 'cos she had to stay at home all day on her own. So she is getting a bit of TLC, a big slosh of Ferretone and a cuddle from OTL plus a rampage around the office while OTL puts the camera gear away!

You must excuse us but I can hardly keep my eyes open and Holly is already snoring!

Snowflake has a new job!

Hello Woofers!

It's us back again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

The weather has not been as brilliant as it has been but first thing this morning there was enough sun to tempt Snowflake out with us for a run.

Before we could go out there was the problem of getting Holly out of bed. She is not known for 'Early Mornings' and prefers to stay in bed until the last moment, like Old Two Legs calling her down to go 'Walkies!'

So, here we are, I've got up early 'cos The Missus was crashing about downstairs getting ready for her Master Class this weekend. OTL woke up as well and I suppose me licking his ear helped!

Holly was still curled up in her bed, dreaming of food and nibbles!

OTL was up and showered and clearing Snowflakes stuff. Snowflake was also up and having a ferret around and getting into trouble, as normal.

OTL took Snowflakes drinking bowl into the bathroom to clean it out and refill, when he heard Holly starting to grumble, so, quick as a flash, he was into the bedroom to see what was up.

There, in Holly's bed was Holly, curled up in her sleeping position with Snowflake licking her nose!

That was it, Holly decided that enough was enough and got up, jumped over Snowflake and OTL and headed out to see if there was any food to eat!

So, OTL says that in future, if he wants Holly to move, he'll send in Snowflake to sort her out!

Me? I was on OTL's bed watching it all, safe and out of Snowflake way, I'm not daft!

Lunchtime we were off down the Sea Wall again and tickle me tail with a feather, there was the BBC TV News people reporting on the plans to build that airport in the middle of the Thames!

........and behind me is where Boris' Folly is planned!

OTL said we had to keep quiet when we went past, just in case they were transmitting. Holly said they should interview us and we could tell them to take the airport and woof off!

.......and it will ruin the Rabbit Bushes as well!

When we got around to where they were doing the interview, we found that they had all packed up and were just about to leave, so we didn't get interviewed after all!

So, it was back to Hunting Rabbit!

now, where are those rabbits?

Tomorrow we are off out early 'cos OTL has got to do some work, but it will be great for us 'cos we're going to be running in some new woods!

Getting Ready to Swim!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

No rain today, so Snowflake was out with us this morning, ferreting along The Sea Wall and enjoying herself as we went hunting rabbit, again! One good thing about our walk is that Old Two Legs is getting a bit more trusting, providing he can see where we are, then he carries on walking Snowflake and puts her back in the car while he comes back for us!

Snowflake says she doesn't like drinking from our 'Traveling Water Bowl' 'cos she says she might fall in, so OTL poured out some water into the bottle cap and she had a drink from that!

Snowflake sorted!

At lunch time we were down there again and this time OTL brought the ball with him and I had a brilliant game of 'Chase', Holly decided to sit down and catch a couple of rays and top up her tan!

With Holly spread out on the beach catching the rays I decided that it was time for some serious swimming, so, while OTL was looking for the lost ball, I went in for a paddle!

We got dragged off the beach and sent back to wee'ing and sniffin and chasing rabbits!

Over the horizon we saw some woofers charging towards us, it was Max and Oscar and Bella.

Bella is a bit old and doesn't come out too often! Mind you, it didn't stop her from giving us a good woofin!

Back home OTL was playing on the computer doing 'Things' so we left him alone and spent a pleasurable afternoon woofin at the pigeons and collard doves that dared to land in the garden!

Holly even spent some time relaxing by the pond!

Off for some diner now, well some of OTL's if we can mug some off him!

We get wet!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

Just wot happened to the sun?

We were up good and early this morning and all I saw outside the window was rain!

I went into see Snowflake and told her about the wet stuff and she said that we are 'on our own' and she went back to bed!

Out of my way, I'm off back to bed!

Well, Holly and I had our rain coats on and even Old Two Legs had his waterproofs on as well! Off we went to The Sea Wall, when we got there it was hardly raining! We kept our rain coats on and proceeded to Hunt Some Rabbit!

Mind you, when we were dragged away from the rabbits and along the Sea Wall, we decided that we really don't like the rain, even though we had rain coats!

I'm getting wetter!

 I stopped for a wee and Holly stood on the path and told me to 'Hurry Up' 'cos she was getting too damp!

Come on Girl, get yourself sorted out!

We met up with Max and Oscar who went potty over OTL, as normal, so predictable!

Yo OTL!

Oscar wanted to know where Snowflake was 'cos he wanted to give her a woof!

OTL spotted the first dandelion flowers, so, there he was, on his knees, taking pictures! It was a good job he had his waterproofs on or he would have got soaked!

I must admit, we got bored with all that flower stuff and went back to chasing Rabbits!

Back home we told Snowflake all about the rabbits and OTL's flower and Max and Oscar.

Snowflake said that, providing the sun comes out, she will come with us at lunchtime!

Come on then, let me out!

Well, the sun came out and we all had a super walk down on The Sea Wall and Snowflake even got stroked by the fishermen we often see down on the Sea Wall. One said his Dad used to keep ferrets and we thought it funny 'cos he must be at least seventy years old, the fisherman not his dad!

Back home we spent the afternoon snoozing while OTL got out loads of paper and stuff ready to take around to the accountant.

So, not the most exciting day but at least Snowflake got her run and we got to chase a rabbit or two!

Back to Work, well, not for US!

Hi Woofers!

It's the Gang back, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

It wasn't so sunny this morning, in fact there was a little rain in the air and some of it fell on Old Two Legs when we all went out for a walk! OTL is a crafty two legs, whenever he puts Snowflake down for a run, she turns around and heads in the opposite direction, confusing us all!

So, OTL, being a sneaky OTL, puts both Holly and me on our lead, then gets Snowflake out of her travelling cage, puts her on her lead and marches off past the Rabbit Hunting Ground right to the point where we normally turn around and head back to the car. By the time we get there, Snowflake has woken up, sniffed the air and decided that a run on the ground would be a 'Good Idea' !

Down she goes and as OTL says, she can run whatever direction she pleases! She does, normally back towards the car but does the normal route in reverse! She is one crazy ferret!

This morning, because of the rain, the grass was wet, so Snowflake got a bit 'Damp'!

OTL was a little concerned and didn't hang about for Holly and I when we got to the 'Rabbit & Rat' bush. So, off he went to get Snowflake rubbed down and back in the car, leaving us two to have a mooch around!

Which we did and I found a really Super Stinky Smelling Sniff that just cried out to be rolled in!

Holly, little Miss Goody Four Paws, said that I would be in trouble when OTL comes back but you know, I just didn't care!

So, absolutely covered in the S.S.S.S. I then set off hunting rabbit!

Holly had gone after OTL and was waiting for him when he came back to look for us. He asked where I was but Holly said she hadn't seen me for a while 'cos she reckons that if she denies all knowledge of me, then she won't get into trouble!

She is Such A Wimp!

You know, it took a good fifteen minutes before  OTL found me and I was 'Seriously Grubby'!

Back home we go, I ended up getting a wash from the tip of my nose to the tip of my tail and all parts inbetween!

Miss Goody Four Paws didn't escape either although she just got her paws, tummy and bottom washed!

That set us up for some freshly cooked chicken and then a snooze, just to let it all go down!

I ended up in the office with OTL while he finished messing about on the computer, mind you, I was keeping a close eye on him!

I Spy with My Little Eye!

Lunchtime was a gentle stroll again but he made sure we stayed away from the rabbits, spoilsport!

We met up with a few of the lads and Holly had a long chat while OTL and I waited for her to finish!

She is Still Gassing!

 Then after both OTL and I had almost fallen asleep waiting for Holly to finish, up she trots, all smiles and waggly tail and says, 'Been Waiting Long?'

On the way back to the car there were one or two funny noises that demanded my attention but in the end I decided that they were not dangerous and we could carry on with our walk!

Wotsat? Could be a Nargle!

Again, as we got near to the Rabbit Ground, we got put back on the lead! I'll be glad when he stops all this and begins to trust us again!

Snowflake has been sleeping for most of the afternoon, just coming out of her sleeping bag for a couple of slurps of Ferretone and a cuddle with OTL.

She's getting a big softy now and has even stopped nipping OTL, you know, I don't think he has any bite marks on his hand at all now!

A Bank Holiday Like Wot it Used to Be, (According to OTL)

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

Now we know that Old Two Legs is as old as the hills, and maybe a bit older, but he was telling us about when he was a youngster and how wonderful the weather was on Bank Holidays. We are just amazed that  he can remember back that far!

Well, he says that today has been the best Bank Holiday for many years, maybe he is right, we can only remember back three years!

We were going down the Forest but because it has been so hot, we decided to go down on The Sea Wall and enjoy the sea breezes.

Now, that's OK by us, including Snowflake 'cos she hasn't been down the Forest yet!

This morning we were kept on a 'Short Lead' 'cos OTL said he was fed up being pulled all over the place by us three! So we got taken to the very middle of our walk where we turn to go home and then it was Snowflakes turn to decide where we went, we went ever where, past the Rabbits, along The Sea Wall, around the back of the Rabbit Bushes, behind the Car Park and finally back down to the Rabbit Bushes!

I don't know about her but we were worn out!

Back home to Doggy Scoff  and a snooze while OTL finished off the big car.

OTL came back in and started to clean out Snowflakes house. He was vacuuming out all the old Ferret Nuggets from the second floor in Snowy Heights when he heard Holly doing her 'Warning Growl', hey up, thought OTL that's not like her. So off he went to investigate.

I was on top of the bed looking down onto Holly's bed on the floor. She was curled up inside her bed, having a well earned snooze, except that she was being woken up by a ferret licking the inside of her ear!

Snowflake was giving it some stick, slurp, slurp, lick, lick!

Holly was doing the 'ifyoukeeponlickingmyearlikethatI'mgoingtotakethattoungeofyoursandshoveitwherethesundon'tshineSavvy?'

I think that OTL got to Snowflake just in time and Holly got a 'Good Girl' and a stroke from OTL.

OTL said that in Ferret Land, ear licking is a way of bonding. Holly said that if she does it again she will bond Snowflake to the back of the Rag and Bone mans horse and cart!

Lunch time we went down to the Sea Wall again and it was so crowded, loads of people, all over the place!

Too Many Cars!

Too many People and some were Cooking Food! 

That was just too much for Holly, she said that they should be banned from tormenting poor little doggy's like us!

No matter where we went we couldn't get away from them!

Oh No Not More Of Them!

OTL and Holly were playing on the beach chasing Whelk Egg Sacks around, I decided that OTL should throw the ball, and I told him so, trouble was, he had forgotten the ball!

 As we got to the end of the Sea Wall where we turn around and head back to the car, we spotted a really Big Wobbly Bozo Type dog, sniffin along the mud and trying to look like he knew what he was doing, obviously a tourist, so we stood there for a while watching him!

 OTL told us off for staring at him and said that one day we would get a good woofing at for being such rude puppy's!

As Holly says, 'He's got to catch us first!'

I found a Super Sniff to roll in, so I waited for OTL and Holly to get ahead and had a seriously good roll before OTL spotted me and chased me back to the car calling me a 'Smelly Nelly'!

Do I care?

 

This is really Living!

 Because it was a bit warm this afternoon, OTL had this brilliant idea, well, he thought it was good!

He filled a big tray full of water, it was sort of luke warm and into it he put a couple of Snowflakes favourite squeaky toys. The tray was in the shower and we wondered what he was going to do.

He went and got Snowflake and put her in the shower and squeaked the toys a couple of times.

Snowflake sort of jumped over the side to get her toys and went head first into the water!

She jumped out very quickly!

Then OTL picked her up and lowered her, tail first, back into the tray. Well we decided that Snowflake was not into swimming or water, we could tell that by the way she jumped out of the tray and went flying towards OTL who picked her up and wrapped her in a towel and dried her off!

Snowflake said she doesn't do water or swimming or getting wet!

Ho well, I'm the only one who likes a paddle!
