Autumn is Here!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It has been yet another wet and windy day here in North Kent and Old Two Legs got wee'd on again!

Snowflake says it's 'cos it was just too cold and windy and she just couldn't help it!

OTL was OK about it 'cos the rain washed it off as we were heading back to the car!

After our protest yesterday, we got Chicken this morning, freshly cooked, just the way we like it!

After a good feed, we spent most of the morning snoozing which was OK really 'cos OTL was working away in the office getting some stuff ready to send out this afternoon.

The lunch time walk was fun, we saw a Curlew out on the mud digging away and of course OTL was there clicking away.

If anyone says 'Watch The Birdy' I'll Scream!
Then a Little Egret flew past, so Click, Click again!

Zoom! ZOOM!!
Then we tripped up over some Fungi, so Click Click again!

Oh No! Not more Blooming Fungi!
It was then that Holly gave a shout and ran off up to the Westie that appeared on top of the hill!

Hey! Look! It's Dave!
You know, it was a good job young Dave arrived on the scene in time to give us a break from OTL's Clicking!

Of course, it was a quick 'Hello' to us two then off he went to get a 'Tail Tickle' from OTL

Hello OTL!
Back home via the Farm Shop to get some seed for the garden birds. We went up to the office to tell Snowflake and Mr Brambles about Dave and the Curlew but they were just too sleepy!
If you 'aint got Ferretone then I don't want to know!
Mind you, I know how they feel I just had to have a snooze on the bed to rest my legs after our run!

OTL has been talking about going down to the Forest again to do some Fungi Photos, providing it doesn't rain of course!

Fungi Photo's? You can tell Autumn has arrived when OTL starts to get down on his knees to take pictures!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

And Didn't it Rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you again!

What a wet day today down in this part of the world!

We were up good and early to get all of The Missus gear shipped to the Village Hall for the second of her 'Master Classes'. This one is for 'Journals' and as we see it, it is a book of classy designs, loads of ink sploshing and stencils and air brush machines and other technical stuff!

Now normally if you do a picture or card and it doesn't work out or you make a mistake you can screw it up and start again, but you can't do it with this 'cos it's a book of stuff and you can't afford to make a mistake or the whole book is ruined!

Dangerous stuff this crafting!

When Old Two Legs started to load up the car, the rain started as well, then it came down a bit heavier. Holly and I stayed indoors!

OTL called me to jump into the car and get ready, so I rushed down the path and straight into the back of the car, tripping over TM sandwiches!

Next OTL called Holly who came to the front door, looked out, decided she would pass on the promised walk and returned to the comfort of the sofa!

It took OTL to go and pick her up and transport her under his arm to the car!

Not a Happy Puppy!

Well, she was right, as soon as we got to the Sea Wall and got out of the car, the Deluge arrived and we all got soaked. Even the ferrets wanted to go back! Mr Brambles was straining on the lead to get back, Holly was sitting in the middle of the field refusing to go further, Miss Snowflake ran up OTL's leg so he had to pick her up and as soon as she got into his arms she buried her head in his coat.

Then she did a wee over his hand 'cos although she didn't like the rain and wanted to keep dry, she really did fancy a wee!

We all had a laugh about that back in the car!

Back home we all got a rub down, for the second time, and Holly and I crashed out on the sofa to watch the F1 racing but immediately fell asleep!

Mr Brambles had his breakfast and also fell asleep!

So that left Snowflake and OTL to have a game with her squeaky toys!

First My Bone!
Snowflake likes the bone 'cos the squeak has gone so she pretends it is squeaking and laughs all the way down the tunnel!

As soon as the toys were stashed down in the box, OTL would empty them back into the paper box an off we go again!

I remember this one from last time!
It amazes us how much fun a ferret can get from moving squeaky toys around the room. Snowflake just loves putting them in 'Safe' places where OTL can't find them, but he always gets them in the end and off we go again!

Now, just put that one back!
We have been using the camera without any flash or lighting so just for a laugh, using Photoshop, I have 'Inverted the colours of Snowflake and came up with this picture!

She does look Grumpy like this!

I'm not a Grumpy Ferret, I'm a Grumpy Ferrets Mum, and I'll keep on being Grumpy 'till Someone Tickles my Tum!
Pretty soon OTL had to pick up Snowflake 'cos she had fallen asleep in the box. So he carefully put her into her bed and left her to snooze the afternoon away!

Lunch time came and the rain was still raining and the ground was getting wetter and the pond was full to the brim!

Getting Full!
Holly and I decided that it may be a good idea to stay in doors and keep dry! OTL had other ideas!

Off we went and you know what? It stopped raining the moment we got there! Holly and I were off chasing rabbits as soon as we got out of the car, it took OTL quite a while to find us both!

We met up with Mr & Mrs Corvid who were having a snack on the breakwater.

Just a Snack at Lunchtime!
Holly spotted an old fork on the shore and reckons a Wormy Man had lost it or the fork had lost the Wormy Man!

Wot! No Wormy Man?
The sky didn't look too inviting, so we didn't hang around too long and headed back to home

Dark Clouds full of Rain
When we got home OTL said that TM had left some food for us!

IT WAS ROTTEN DOGGY SCOFF!!!!!!!

That's it, she is not going to get a welcome lick when OTL brings her back, were on strike, no decent food equals no licks!

We are going to cuddle up to OTL tonight, TM has blown out all together!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly (Both Starving Hungry), Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Saturday with Old Two Legs.

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly,  Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Today it's The Missus's Master Class and the stuff she has to take to the village hall gets bigger and bigger every time! Today there was almost no room for her to sit in the car with us and Old Two Legs would have suggested she walk up to the Village Hall but he was too scared of getting told off!

OTL was up early this morning so he could get his half an hour of sploshing around the office on the rowing machine before loading up the car. You know, he is getting better and faster, this morning he managed 973 strokes in thirty minutes, a new record for him!

Holly reckons that is 32.4 strokes a minute! If he keeps up this rate he will soon get to the magical 1000 stokes in half an hour which we know is his target and if you look at the count, that is only another stroke per minute to get to that figure!

Mr Brambles said he was joining in with the rowing by exercising his neck by watching OTL as he whizzed back and forth. On the other hand Snowflake kept her head down and carried on snoozing!

We all went out for out walk this morning and enjoyed jumping in the puddles left over from last night and we even managed to chase a rabbit or two along the path before they disappeared into the brambles.

Back home we had a super big bowl of Lambs Heart and some of OTL's beef off cuts from his curry that TM was making for him yesterday. She brews up several gallons of curry and then freezes it in meal sized portions and OTL reckons it tastes brilliant!

Come lunch time we got the command from TM to do a 'Royal Visit' to the Village Hall to say 'hello' to all our fans and a couple who said they weren't into ferrets! It was OK, Snowflake and Mr Brambles said they weren't hungry and didn't bite anyone!

Mr Brambles got a cuddle and Snowflake got stroked, I had my picture taken and even heard Archie doing his 'Sniveling' act!

Holly did a quick rush around the hall to see if there were any sandwiches left over but they all gone!

However, she did spot a Cheese Roll being eaten, so she sat down next to Margaret and did her 'Hairy Eyeball' stare and although it took about five minutes to get a result, at least she did get a result!

Go On, Gissa Bit?
Archie's Mum presented us with some real posh looking chews, one each, and Holly is certainly not getting mine! So a big thank you and licky ears to you!

Next we were off to the Sea Wall again and had a good run down there, chasing a couple of rabbits. Snowflake said she was tired and stayed in OTL's arms for the 'Outward Journey', having a snooze until we reached the sandy beach, well as near as we are going to get to sandy this end of the world!

OTL put Snowflake down and again she tried the 'Pick Me Up Daddy' bit but it was as successful as the attempt this morning!

Back home we all crashed out on the sofa, well, OTL and us doggies, the ferrets had a feed and went to sleep in their bed, all cuddled up together.

Because we had the ferrets with us today OTL didn't take the camera out with him, so you will have to forgive us today!

We'll make sure there is more pictures tomorrow, promise!

Bye bye for now,

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Windy Ole Weather, Stormy Ole Weather!

Hello Woofers!

It's The Daisy, Holly, Snowflake & Mr Brambles Show!

Old Two Legs has been fiddling around with the Daisy Cam and is not doing too well! First he tried it with a bit of string around my chest to stop it wobbling but that was no good whatsoever!

Then he tried wrapping me in a towel around my neck and that was worse than useless!

Then he got all fed up and set about mounting it in the Ferret cage (Snowy Heights) but the lens wasn't wide enough to get all the cage in, so all you got was Snowflakes Tail and Butt wobbling about while she had a chew of her Ferret Nuggets!

So, back to the drawing board for OTL!

Last night we were swapping stories about our holidays, we told the ferrets all about our rabbit hunting on the beach and Mr Brambles told us how he kept telling the rabbit in the next cage just how good at rabbit hunting Snowflake is and how she used to be a 'Professional Hunting Ferret' before running away from home and landing up in OTL's garden.

Mr Brambles said it took four days before the rabbit would come out of his bedroom 'cos he thought Snowflake would be waiting for him!

We all had a laugh about that and Holly and I showed them our Tick Scars and Mr Brambles showed us his wart!

This morning it looked just as bad out there as it did yesterday but OTL decided that we should get Snowflake and Mr Brambles out for a breath of fresh air and a run 'cos they haven't had any exercise for almost three weeks!

If they don't get some workouts done they will end up with a gut like OTL!

Off we headed, down to the Sea Wall, you could tell it was going to be windy 'cos OTL had his big coat on, the one with Velcro Cuffs and a tight fitting hood and water proof pockets!

As you would expect, Mr Brambles was all for getting down and running and digging and sniffing while Snowflake stayed tucked up in OTL's arms trying to keep warm and go back to sleep again!

She had to wake up in the end 'cos OTL put her down on the damp beach where the sand was still wet from the tide!

Mr Brambles started to dig a hole, so did Holly and just to join in the fun, so did I!

Snowflake took some time to get moving 'cos she kept going up to OTL's leg and doing her 'Pick Me Up Daddy' trick but OTL said she should get some exercise, so get moving!

In the end she did and we all enjoyed a jog back to the car, Snowflake was first in, followed by Mr Brambles, then Holly and me.

Back home to a big bowl of Chicken and Biscuits and the chicken had the skin on which is a treat normally only done by OTL but The Missus decided that she would treat us, just this once!

We both had a big full tummy and fell asleep watching the F1 program!

Lunch time we really fancied a long walk but when we looked out of the window it was raining in fact it was more than rain, it was a Deluge!!

The ferrets said they would pass on a walk.

Pass, but thank you for asking!
Both Holly and I decided that we could possibly do without a walk until later this afternoon, if it stops raining!

I'll pass on that as well, but thank you for asking!
OTL has been telling us that he will be entering Snowflake into the Harrietsham Ferret Show, which is to be held on 30th November at the Harrietsham Village Hall. It's being run by The Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Centre, that's where we got Mr Brambles from.

Now we have never been to a Ferret Show before and neither has Snowflake or Mr Brambles, so we are wondering what sort of things OTL will be entering them into.

Holly said that there must be something Mr Brambles would be good at, say, Best Looking Ferret? or Most Cuddly Ferret? or Fastest Ferret? or Most Snoozy Ferret?

I reckon he should enter the Lactose Free Milk Drinking Contest 'cos he would win that Paws Down!

OTL has looked on the British Ferret Club web site and seen that they will be judged on what they are, like, Best Polecat Hob or Best Albino Jill and there was even one section for British Ferret Club Disabled but we don't know if the ferret or the owner has to be disabled or even both! If there is a disabled ferret section we reckon Mr Brambles could stand a chance with his two missing toes and if it is the owner Snowflake has offered to bite OTL's leg so he will have to limp!

More news when hear what is happening closer to the day.

This weekend TM has her Master Classes, so we shall be at home with our paws up watching the F1 Racing. We will have loads of nibbles to eat and pop to drink and Mr Brambles has promised to wear his 'Red Bull' Baseball Cap as well!

See you tomorrow, Brrrm, Brrrm!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly,Snowflake and Mr Brambles

The North Wind Doth Blow!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

What a change in temperature! It was super sunny yesterday and warm as well. This morning it was cloudy, windy and a darn sight colder that we have remembered in a long time!

Chilly Chilly!
In fact, it was so cold that Old Two Legs decided to leave the ferrets at home and take them out at lunchtime.

We had a good run, catching the sniffs as they came in from Southend on Sea at about forty miles an hour!

Too Fast, let's stick to the Local Sniffs eh?
After a while we got fed up sniffin' Southend and instead investigated to local sniffs!

Back home we had a nibble of breakfast but today we just didn't feel like eating, you know, we sometimes get like that for a day, then the next day we are stuffing everything we can find down our throats!

Holly has been getting all possessive about a chew she pinched off me last night and I have great fun in pinching it back when she's not looking or when I pretend there is a cat in the garden, have a woof, then as she rushes over to the window to investigate, Super Swift Daisy Dog just flies in and grabs the chew and is off to the bedroom as quick as lightening while Super Soppy Holly is still looking out of the window!

Lunchtime came and OTL decided that a run with the ferrets would be a good idea, only the ferrets didn't fancy the idea 'cos they were too warm and sleepy!

Not today thanks, it's just too comfortable here!

That was it, we had OTL to ourselves again! Well, that was until a Bozo Westie came galloping over the hill towards us!

Hello Girls!
He came rushing up to us, a quick sniff then on he went straight up to OTL for a 'Tail Tickle' and a rub behind his ear!
Hey! It's OTL!
Holly and reckon he's just a big Tart!

OTL has been busy trying get rid of a pile of paperwork that arrived while we were on holiday, so we have been snoozing and 'Chew Chasing'!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The Ferrets Return!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's Us Again!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

All back home again and sniffin' out any changes in the 'House Sniffs'!

Holly and I were out first thing checking the Sea Shore for new stuff an' sniffs. No rabbits this time but we were a bit late in getting out today!

OTL got hold of a couple of miniature Camcorders that are small enough to hang on our collars, so first thing I was selected to try out this 'Daisy Cam'!

..........are you Sure it Turned On?
Wot a load of rubbish!

Look! No Camera's on Meee!
OTL has got to do some work on mounting the thing properly 'cos hanging it from my collar, under my chin was a bad decision!

This needs Re Engineering!
We spotted a Curlew out on the mud and told it to 'Stand Still' while I took it's picture!

This is my best side!
All you could see on the camera was my feet, my whiskers under my chin and a load of other stuff that we couldn't make sense of!

Better luck next time OTL!

After our walk it was straight off to collect Snowflake and Mr Brambles. We stayed in the car when we got there 'cos there was a couple of big ugly looking dogs down the other end of the garden and we didn't fancy discussing who had 'Rights' in the garden!

OTL went in and opened the cage door only to have both Mr Brambles and Snowflake jump into his arms for a cuddle and Snowflake even licked OTL on his chin to show how pleased she was to see him again!

Mr Brambles snuggled down and licked OTL's hand and asked if it was time to go yet!

Pretty soon Snowy Heights was dismantled and put in the back of the car, the ferrets were strapped into the back of the car and we were heading down the road towards home!

Once home, both ferrets went potty! They were jumping up and down all over the place Dooking or as OTL calls it 'Chuckling', you could definitely see that they were pleased to be back!

Next OTL did the 'Kit Inspection' which involves us animals submitting to a close inspection of all of our body and legs and ears and tummy and tails and feet and teeth!

He does this every time we have been in 'Dangerous Places' such as were we are likely to pick up things like ticks or fleas and nasties like that!

It was when he was checking Mr Brambles that he spotted a lump with a scab on top!

After cleaning it he saw it was a lump with what looked like two puncture marks on top!

Even closer inspection found another small one!

That was it, not sure about what he was looking at, OTL telephoned the vet and in no time flat there we were outside the vets.

I stayed in the car well outside the vets 'cos there is no way I'm going in that place because of my 'Blue Coat Syndrome'!

Well, the result was this, 'No tick bite, no insect bite but it looks like a wart that he must have picked at or Snowflake might have nibbled at!

While he was there OTL got them to put on some anti flea stuff onto their shoulders, just in case.

That was it, all we had after that was OTL crying at the vets bill!

To compound it all, OTL stopped off at Tesco's to get us some chicken and treat the ferrets to a carton of Lactose Free milk which I'm sure they will absolutely love tomorrow morning!

So, we are off for a chicken dinner this evening!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly Snowflake and Mr Brambles (All together again!)

We're Back!

Hi Woofers!

Just to let you know, Daisy & Holly are Back Home!

We got back about mid afternoon and it took ages unloading the caravan, there was so much card stuff to unload before we even got to the 'Propper Stuff'!

I wouldn't mind but The Missus took all that stuff away with her, including several evil looking machines and what did she make?

ONE CARD!

At least Holly and I got wet and cold and hot and bitten by a Tick and upset tummy from eating something on the beach and lost and found and in trouble and out of trouble and in trouble again for chasing squirrels and , and, and,.....well the list goes on for ages!

We had a super time and now we are looking forward to going to collect Snowflake and Mr Brambles tomorrow morning!

Tonight TM and Old Two Legs are off to the Chinese for some more Rice and stuff and of course, more Plawn Clackers (White)!

We have also been promised some Lambs Heart for dinner tonight, so it looks good for tonight!

Oh, yes, I forgot, OTL has an unopened pack of shortbread, so with a slurp of English Whisky inside him he should be ripe for a bit of mugging!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Holly gets 'Ticked Off'!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again.

I'm feeling fine now, just an itch every so often from my cheek but that's about all.

Old Two Legs got all artistic this morning and tried to get a good silhouette of a tree but as Holly pointed out, it was too sunny!
A 'Silhouette' it 'aint!
Later, after our run around the forest path as normal, we got back to a good towelling down to get rid of the dew we picked up from the grass.

Problem was, Holly had picked up a tick over the last couple of days!

It was chomping away just under her chin!

Old Two Legs spotted it, he's getting Hyper Sensitive to little lumps on us puppies!

Show Off Holly, just rolled onto her side, stuck her chin out and let OTL take the tick off with his special Tick Removing Tool!

For that act of bravery, she got four puppy milk choccy drops, instead of three as normal after our morning brush!

I was a bit put out and said it wasn't fair 'cos I didn't get any choccy drops when my tick was removed!

'The reason for that' says Holly, 'Your tick cost sixty quid to get removed and that's a ton of Choccy Drops!'

I still felt cheated!

This morning OTL took the awning down, which is always a sad time 'cos that means the holiday is coming to an end, but we still had this afternoon to have some fun.

So, Holly and I started to work on OTL, you know, woofing and snivelling and pawing at the door. So, he packs us into the car and off we go, only to end up at the Lynford Stag again! This is not where we wanted to go!

On top of that, the stag we saw looked dangerous, especially as someone had painted his Doo-Dahs!

Lynford Stag with Doo-Dahs'!

OTL managed to get a half decent picture of a Comma Butterfly.

As I said, it's only Half Decent!
Back at the caravan we still kept up our woofing and snivelling until in the end he got the message,

'WE WANT TO GO TO THE BEACH!'

So, off we went to Cromer Beach, not as big as Tichwell but just as much fun but with no rabbits or ticks!

We had a super time on the beach chasing each other and splashing in the waves!

We just Love a Splash!
Best of all were the sand cliffs, we went tearing up them and then fell down and ran up them again and then we went into 'Climbing Mode' just like OTL used to do but without the ropes and hard hat!

Ice Pick and Crampons Next!
Holly had a great time as well learning how to climb and with the prospect of a rabbit or two she really did well.

Holly about to have a go!
Only problem, no rabbits!

I searched as hard as I could but there was not a sniff of a rabbit anywhere. A few rats but we tend to leave them alone as they don't run as fast as rabbits and are not so much fun to chase!

Back down on the beach we chased The Missus all over the place and OTL was getting all artistic again!

Reflections.
Then we spotted him, all alone, sitting in the middle of the beach, 'Oh! No!' says Holly, 'They've got Them up Here As Well!

More Swimming Worms!
Well, that's it for now, back home tomorrow but we have been promised chicken tonight, as a treat!

We will still try mugging OTL for the shortbread though, well, it's tradition!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Squirrel Guard!

Hi Woofers!

It's us here, Daisy & Holly.

What a super day it has been, loads of sun shine and even a gentle breeze!

When I woke up this morning, that nasty head ache had gone and I was feeling just like myself again!

So, I jumped on top of Old Two Legs and woke him up with a good ear licking and even Holly joined in, just for fun!

It was most enjoyable having a walk in the woods, but we did keep an eye open for those tick things!

I'll watch this side and you keep an eye on that side!
After our morning walk we were going back to the caravan when Holly pointed out that it is only on the 'Official Caravan Club sites that everyone has to park in line and put the car on the correct side!

ATTENTION! Get in Line you 'Orrible Caravans!
We were back in the caravan having breakfast when I spotted a squirrel across the other side of the road, hopping about looking for nuts to bury. I went potty! I just flew at the window and woofed and whined and snivelled and woofed some more!

The squirrel just turned left and disappeared into the bushes!

You know, I stood there on 'Squirrel Watch' for the next twenty minutes, just in case he came back!

The Missus wanted to go out to a 'Wood Carving Country Fair' to see one of her mates who had a stall, yes, card making!

So, off we went, woofing all the way down the road and sticking our noses out of the window to do some 'Speed Sniffing' .

When we got there we had to park the car in a big field and walk all the way down to the show. On the way to the gate I decided to have a poo on the path and Old Two Legs had to pick it all up. As he was doing that a woman walked past and wrinkled her nose up and made a 'Disgusted' look on her face.

Holly reckons she is one of those people who doesn't poo!

OTL was interested in the wood carving tools and also in a very old sawing machine that was powered by an old steam traction engine.

A Chip off The Old Tree!
As far as Holly and I thought, it just made a noise and loads of saw dust which made us sneeze!

When we got back to the caravan I was back onto 'Squirrel Guard' and we even had a 'Squirrel Patrol' just to check if there were any hiding behind the tree trunks!

OTL said we should keep an eye open for the deer that live in the forest as well.

Holly said that they carry ticks as well!

We decided that we will have a gentle evening watching a DVD and nibbling on OTL's shortbread as he finishes off the English Whisky!

Tomorrow it is 'Clear Up' time, 'cos we are back home on Tuesday and back to work again, well, OTL is!

It's going to be good seeing the ferrets again and we hope that Snowflake and Mr Brambles got our postcard we sent!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

P.S. My cheek is still a bit sore but it's getting better!

I'm a Tick Free Zone!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy & Holly!

Sorry about the short blog last night but things were a bit 'HeckTic' if you know what I mean!

I went to bed with the tick still chomping away at my cheek. In the morning it looked a bit bigger, according to Old Two Legs, so, out with the computer to find a local vet and start dialling on the telephone!

We got an early appointment with the local vets practice but there was only nurses in and no vets. The nurses said that a simple tick would be no problem and she would have it out in no time!

You know, she never even saw the tick before giving up and running to the telephone to talk to a real vet in their Bury St Edmunds branch!

That was it, into the car we went and landed in the vets place and sat in the waiting room waiting for all the other animals to go in before us.

I got woofed at by a big black hairy thing and sniffed at by a small bald thing and hissed at by a cat with a sore paw who was sitting next to us!

Then it was my turn.

In we go and OTL explains about the tick and my 'Blue Coat Syndrome'.

'Ho Ho' says the vet, 'I'm sure we'll get on just fine', and then she tickles my ear and sticks her stethoscope onto my chest.

It was about then that I managed to climb up OTL and was almost sitting on his head! It was only then that the vet said that maybe OTL being there didn't help matters, so I was taken out the back for them to try to check my pulse and see the tick.

About three minutes later they came back and said that they couldn't check or see anything and maybe an anaesthetic would be the best idea!

OTL did suggest that they try the La-La pill we gave to Holly to calm her down before having her hair cut but the vet didn't feel happy with that and gave OTL an estimate for the anaesthetic treatment!

It was OTL's turn to 'Not Feel Very Happy'

You know, OTL does go into shock so easily nowadays!

Well, OTL and I were parted and he had to wander the streets for an hour and I got a needle stuck into me and I was off into La-La Land.

I awoke with a thumping big head ache and I was a bit wobbly on my legs as well, but after an hour I was let out of the cage and marched out to see OTL waiting for me!

We both got out of there PDQ and I crashed out in the car with this headache still crashing around between my ears.

The good thing was, the tick had gone, and my cheek was a bit sore but wet with some antiseptic cream the vet had sloshed on my chops!

I slept all the way back to the caravan and OTL put me on the bed and I crashed out again!

Holly has asked that we put on the pictures from yesterday down on the beach where we both got in the poo again and I got the tick!

So here goes!

First of all Holly has chosen this one 'cos she says she looks good having a roll!

Jus' Rollin' Around!
Next she wants this one 'cos she thinks it's funny 'cos it looks like she is shouting into the sand!

Is there anyone there?
I like this one 'cos it shows me 'Paw Surfin' 'cos it wasn't deep enough to swim in!

Me, doing a Beach Babe Paw Surfin!
This one shows the beach and the storm that missed us!

That was close!
This is after we went off chasing rabbits and me getting a tick and us both getting in trouble with OTL for running off on our own.

No, this time it Definitely was Your Fault!
By the way, we were both covered in those nasty burrs and that's how OTL spotted the tick!

Today has been an 'Eventful Day' and I promise not to pick up any more ticks this holiday!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy (Sore Head and Chops!) & Holly
