It's The Sun, really, it is The Sun!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again.

And Wow! Just what is that thing in the sky? Yeah! It's The Sun!

Doesn't it make you feel good when get a bit of sun shine on your back?

Down on the beach the ferrets had a run around and even got to dig a hole! Miss Snowflake got Old Two Legs to pick her up 'cos she said that she was scared of the woofer that passed by. We reckon she just wanted a cuddle!

Up on the path we looked towards Southend and Holly said it was a big change from yesterday!

Sunshine over Southend.

Back home it was all rush and tear around for OTL to get things cleared up and our breakfast cooked. We got Lambs Heart again and it was done to perfection!

Holly and I had a snooze while OTL got going on the ferret cleaning job. While he was clearing out the bottom half he let them out and the first thing Mr Brambles did was to rush over to the corner and do a poo!

OTL was not happy!

Lunchtime and we were down the Sea Wall again and there were hundreds of people walking along the Sea Wall! The sunshine has certainly brought them all out today!

There was even one couple sunbathing on the beach. Holly said she could sniff Factor 50!

Factor 50 My Dear?
OTL even took another picture, just for Michael, look, no rain!

Look at the colours!
Back home OTL got busy lifting some rocks from the front garden into the back garden where he is finishing off his reconstruction. All he has to do now is plant the 'Wild Flowers', drill some holes in an old tree trunk and make it into a Wasp/Bumblebee Hotel and replace a few fence panels. They will be done around April time, after the winds have dropped

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Disaster Only Just Avoided Today!

Hi Woofers!

We are all here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Last night we headed off to bed at the normal time and Old Two Legs got our Lambs Heart out of the freezer so it is thawed out for the morning. I must say, we all had a very good sleep, no woofing from Holly, very little snoring from OTL and no alarm clock going off. Well, really it's Radio Four switching on at six and after listening for ten minutes, OTL gets going!

Not this morning!

Nothing happened, in fact, the alarm clock/radio was fast asleep, no lights, no LCD clock, nothing, all dark, all gone!

Then it dawned on OTL, we have a power cut!

Now that its not so unusual down this part of the world, we are at the 'End of the Road' and suffer from blackouts. That is one of the reasons OTL won't change the central heating system over to a modern radiator and pump system 'cos what does the pump run on? Electricity!

We don't mind being in the dark but cold as well? No Thanks!

So, back to my story, there we were at Seven Thirty! I mean, that's half way through the morning, seven thirty normally has OTL exercised, showered and eating breakfast with the ferrets!

This morning no exercise, rowing machine has sunk. No breakfast 'cos he is late and no cup of tea 'cos the kettle is electric!

Breakfast for OTL was his normal Rabbit Food with COLD milk together with a glass of COLD orange juice and the ferrets had COLD Lactose Free Milk with no drop of hot water to take the edge off it!

Holly and I said it was a terrible shame and had a small giggle between us.

That was until OTL pointed out that instead of a nice warm bowl of Lambs Heart, sliced to the correct size for us puppies and the juice drizzled over the top, just as a sauce, we had to have Doggy Scoff 'cos he couldn't cook the Lambs Heart!

Oh No! The world is coming to an end! Our carefully planned menu has been destroyed, Doggy Scoff! YUK!

Well, OTL got everything done and off we went down to the Sea Wall and the beach for our run around. It was sunny and even a little warm, well it would be if the wind dropped down a bit. Instead it was blowing a gale! Even the ferrets didn't want to come out of their ferret bag!

Back home, no electricity, so OTL loaded the rowing machine into the back of the car and off we went down to the dump. Bye Bye Rowing Machine!

Instead of coming straight back we took a detour and ended up in the Doggy Shop! Ooooo! the Sniffs, Oooo! The Rabbits, so many sniffs!

OTL got a basket and took all the chicken fillets off the shelf, (Three Bags), then he put a couple of Chicken & Rice chews in the basket and finally he got a large glass drinking bottle for the ferrets!

OTL says you can't have enough water bottles for the ferrets!

Back home we got through the front door and OTL tried the light switch, the light came on!

That was it, heat the oven up, in goes the Lambs Heart and we had a very late breakfast of very warm Lambs Heart sliced to the correct size and with the juices drizzled over like a sauce, just as we like it!

After that it was down to the Sea Wall again. When we arrived there was some Two Legs geezer standing on the beach looking out to sea mumbling something about 'So much water'!

Look at all that water out there!
Holly reckons he has come up from somewhere inland where there isn't any water and it must have shocked him to see so much!

We left him to it and trotted off along the wall. We could hear a 'Doggy Whine' but couldn't see who it was. Whoever was making the noise didn't sound very happy, so Holly gave a woof and asked what was wrong?

Then a head appeared over the Sea Wall and a little Dachshund stuck it's head up and said 'How do I get up there?'

Soppy woofer had run all the way along the edge of the beach and not noticed the sea wall getting bigger!

How do I get up there?
Holly gave a snort and said that he should try using the stairs like any sensible doggy would!

OTL said that Holly should have offered to show him where the stairs were but he spotted them first and off he went!

Looking back we could see the rain falling down on Southend on Sea and it sure did look like they were getting a good soaking!

Just look at that lot!
We carried trotting along and the more we looked at the rain cloud, the closer it seemed to be getting to us!

OTL, shouldn't we go back now?
We reckon that it wouldn't be too long before it all landed on us! OTL said it pass us by but we may get a few drops of rain. Well, I didn't fancy getting wet at all and quickened my pace back towards the car. You know, we only just made it back before it started to rain.

Who's a lucky puppy then?

Back in doors, OTL set about the washing up and clearing all the stuff up from this morning. Holly and I found a comfortable spot on the sofa and had a super snooze, just to let our late breakfast go down!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Three Wheels On His Boat, But He's Still Rowing Along!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Did we have a laugh this morning, there he was, Captain Pug Wash, paddling away for all he was worth. He got up to the last sixty seconds of his half an hour paddle around the office. The last sixty seconds he doubles his pace and 'Goes Like The Clappers', a sort of 'Sprint Finish'.

So, there he was, in, out, in, out, in, ow!

The sliding seat he was sitting on seized up! His butt wasn't moving but the rest of him was thrashing around like a headless chicken!

Holly said that he looked like a Woodpecker on Speed!

After he managed to extract himself from all the straps that keep him on the paddle machine, we saw that one of the rubber wheels had come off the seat and was jammed between the mechanism! It looks like Old Two Legs had got an 'Engineering Job' to add to the other jobs he had lined up for today!

Mr Brambles was still getting upset 'cos he reckons the 'Sea Weed Monster' has been pinching his holes. Determined to 'Have a Word' with the Monster, he set about digging around in the sea weed!

I'll find you, and when I do, you're in trouble!
We haven't told him that crabs hide under rocks and sea weed and they have big claws. It will be interesting to see how he reacts when he finds one of them!

Miss Snowflake was getting a bit fed up with having to wait while Mr Brambles 'Ferreted Around' and went beck to OTL to see if she could 'Just Wait in the Carry Bag?'

No Way! Once your out, your out for the whole run!

Oooo! he is sooo! Hard!

Pleeese! Just while he is ferreting about?
Holly and I played on the beach and had a race from one end to the other. We hung about waiting for the ferrets to head back to the car and when they got to the rock wall they both said they could sniff 'Dog Wee' and wanted to know if it was us!

Cheeky Ferrets!

No, that's Not Our Wee!
Back home to breakfast, super, still warm, greasy, yummy, chicken with the skin on!

Just the way we like it!

After we got back the rain started again and you know what? It didn't let up until four in the afternoon! OTL was looking at the Doppler Web Site that shows where the rain is falling and he spotted we 'Had A Window' where we could get down to the Sea Wall again, have our walk and get back to the car before it all started again!

Now, who's a clever OTL then?

He managed to get the weather well enough but he has failed on the rowing machine. The wheel that came off can't be remounted 'cos it is split right across the wheel and even when he tried to use it on just three wheels, it kept jamming.

I think that tomorrow or maybe on Monday, we will be taking the machine down to the local tip!

At the moment he is Surfing The Web to find a reasonably priced replacement. Some of them are terribly expensive and he is crying as he is searching, so imagine how he will be when he has to finally click the 'Buy' button!

Not to worry, at least he will be fitter than if he just sat in the chair and did no exercise, and, as he says, 'You can't take it with you' which is true, but why does he have to cry so much?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Making up The Menu!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wot a super day today, right from the start it has been sunshine all the way, plus a bit of wind and a few drops of the wet stuff but not enough to worry us.

So the weather man predicts, tomorrow will be all rain, hail, snow and wind, and with that in mind The Missus decided to head off to Coventry today rather than tomorrow.

Makes sense to us as well!

Mr Brambles was enjoying the sunshine and even suggested he went for a swim but the tide was out and all he could find were rock pools, and they weren't deep enough to swim in!

OK, Who has nicked the water?
Mr Brambles was getting so upset about the missing water that Miss Snowflake helped him have a look for it but even she had to give up in the end!

Nothing over here either!
That was it, they went back to digging holes!

Back home we waved good bye to TM as she raced off into the traffic with the car loaded down with tons of card making stuff.

When Old Two Legs came back in we insisted he sit down and work out a menu for us while TM is away.

Now there is eight days meals we have to decide on. So we told OTL what to write down and it went like this:-

Chicken, Lambs Heart, Stewing Steak, Gammon Steak, Chicken, Lambs Heart, Lambs Liver, Rump Steak.

Every meal has to be followed by a teeth cleaning chew and we have got to have nibbles available, when required, like Chicken Fillet or Chicken & Rice chews!

OTL said that he will have a look through the freezer and see what he can find for us and there may be a pizza for him!

Lunch time, OTL took us back to the Sea Wall and we met up with Rosie, a very playful four year old Staffy.

She came bounding along the Sea Wall and was all over OTL straight away!

Hello Rosie!
We had a game of chase on the beach and I had to grumble when she shoved her cold nose under my tail! She soon got the messages and went back to running around OTL!

We told her about the camera OTL was carrying and she said that she had a 'Best Side', then she stood and looked towards the sky and said 'How's This For A Pose?'

Rosie's Best Side!
After a while Rosie had to go home and we carried on down the path. We had a run and a chase on the beach while OTL was playing with the camera again.

Now how about this for a weird one? It is an Infrared Photo that has been 'Worked On' by OTL in Photoshop!

An Infrared Power Station!
I must say, he does do some strange photo's sometimes!

We are off now to get the table prepared for OTL's pizza, then we will sit beside him and select the best bits for us to test for taste!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Nothing Like a Good Roll!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We saw something funny last night after uploading the blog. Old Two Legs was back up in the office shutting the computers down and making everything tidy for the morning when he noticed Miss Snowflake having a back scratch against the plastic ramps in Snowy Towers.

OTL, being a helpful sort of Two Legs, opened up the door and picked her up, put her on his lap and started to scratch her back using all his fingers. He does the same for us when he takes our collars off 'cos we do enjoy a really good scratch around the back of our necks!

It is HEAVEN when he does it!

Well, it seems, so, does little Miss Snowflake! She put her chin onto OTL's leg and arched her back, up comes her tail and it blows up like a Bottle Brush! Then on top of that, she starts to swish the tail from side to side!

Then she turns her head around and licks OTL's finger!

That ferret sure does love a scratch on her back!

This morning we were out a bit later than normal 'cos OTL got up late, even after having Holly and me licking his ear!

As normal, it was wet under paw but at least it wasn't raining!

Down on the beach we all had a good run and the ferrets got going with their hole digging as well!

Mr Brambles has even started to use his nose to help shovel the sand to the sides after digging it up and piling it in front of him!

It's My Hole, My Precious!
Miss Snowflake found a bunch of sea weed and had us all laughing as she tried to play 'Keepy Uppy' with it!

Look! On Me 'ead Son!
Mr Brambles and I had a 'Discussion' about possession of the hole, I wanted it but he didn't want to give it up, so I woofed at him and he said he would bite my nose off!

So, I let him keep it!
After the beach we headed for home but I caught the sniff of a particularly interesting sniff and sort of hung back as OTL, Holly and the ferrets headed back towards the car.

Then I found it! Wow, it was strong! So, what should a little puppy like me do?

Yep!

I had a good roll in it!

It was all over me from my collar to my tail!

When we got back to the car OTL dried off the ferrets and Holly then called me over, he started to dry my paws and it was then that he saw my back!

He called me a 'Mucky Puppy' and a 'Pongy Pooch' and a 'Smelly Nelly' and a 'Stinky Mutt'!

Me? Smelly? Pongy? Mucky? STINKY?

NEVER!

Back home I got washed from the tip of my nose to the end of my tail, and he didn't leave no bit unwashed at all!

These Two Legs just don't know how important it is to get a good pong on your back!

Lunch time we went out again but OTL had miss judged the rain. When we got to the car park the rain was coming down and turning so that it went horizontally! The wind was more like a hurricane so that means a quick wee around the back of the bushes and back to the car!

We got soaked, well, where the rain coats weren't, we got soaked, but OTL got even wetter! Where he's standing at the back of the car giving us a rub down with the towel, the wind and rain was still coming horizontally and he ended up with soaking wet trousers, back, front and sides!

He said it was most uncomfortable to drive home!

We got another rub down from The Missus when we got back and OTL got a dry pair of trousers!

So that is our day really, cold, wet, damp but back home in the warm. Unfortunately, the food is still horrid, yes, it's Doggy Scoff again!

We'll be glad when TM goes up to Coventry on Friday for a week of baby sitting and doing a 'Master Class' at least we'll get some real scoff from OTL!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Eggy Time for The Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Well, guess what? It was raining this morning! How unusual! I was getting fed up with the sun and too much heat, the ferrets were complaining as well and Old Two Legs can't find a big enough sun hat to cast a shadow over all of him!

Then I woke up,                                 but it was still raining!

Enough of this doom and gloom, just keep an eye on the Jet Stream and hope the wiggle goes away soon!

Now, how about some fun?

You remember me telling you that OTL tried an egg out on the ferrets? Well it obvious that they had never seen an egg before and had no idea what to do with it. OTL had to give them a helping hand by making a small hole so they can sniff the stuff inside, then he had to make a bigger hole so they could get it all out!

Have a look!

We had some super greasy chicken when we came back from our morning walk, it slipped down a treat! After that we headed for our snooze spots and spent the morning enjoying that 'After Dinner' feeling, in the dry and warm!

Lunch time it was still raining, OTL said that even after all this rain he is sure that the Environment Agency will arrange for a Hose Pipe ban due to 'The Wrong Sort of Rain'!

Looking at the weather forecast today it is possible that we may see the Snow Fairy again! Claws crossed! We will also get a chance to wear our Sheep Skin coats in the snow as well!

Lunch time walk was delayed and the rain stopped for a while, we headed off to the beach. OTL now has to carry a bag with our towels, rain coats in it plus his camera and of course he has to hang onto our lead as well and if it's first thing in the morning, he has to carry the ferrets travelling cage as well!

We saw some Oyster Catchers and Redshank and Wormy Men! But at least it wasn't raining!

Anyone Got An Oyster!
Holly said that OTL could take a video of the Wormy Men and call it 'March of The Wormy Men'!

Left, Squelch, Right, Squelch, Left, Squelch, Right, Squelch, Lef,t Squelch, Right, Squelch!
I found a thing on the beach that OTL said was a Crab Basket but I said that there was no way a crab would get caught in that 'cos it was all smashed to bits!

No Crabs in here!
Holly and I had fun racing each other up and down the path and finally back to the car, of course, I won 'cos I am faster than Holly, not that she would agree!

Look! I'm First!
Holly said that I cheated 'cos I tried to trip her up!

Me? Never!

Hey Ref! That's a Penalty! I was tripped!
OTL said we were both as bad as each other 'cos we both cheat!

Next, we were off to the Rubbish Tip, to get rid of some electrical bits that OTL keeps falling over! It was fun poking our tongues out at everyone we passed and Holly was even woofing at them as well!

After that, back home to see if there is any nibbles left, like a teeth cleaning chew or a bit of Chicken Fillet or maybe a Rice & Chicken Chew!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles (Video Stars!)

Damp Day but Fun!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again.

Now, who is getting fed up with all this wet stuff? That's it, put your paws up!

Same here, it seems that ever since Christmas we have been swimming every time we go out, instead of walking through the grass!

Today was no different, I'm sure our rain coats are getting worn out with all the use and cleaning they are getting!

It was raining when we all went out this morning, it was touch or go whether we took the ferrets with us but in the end they showed off so much that Old Two Legs put them in the Travel Cage and picked up Two Doggy Towels!

We knew it was going to be a damp one!

Down on the beach the ferrets got going with a hole each and Miss Snowflake was really putting her back into it!

There was so much sand being thrown up into the air that I just had to stop by for an 'Inspection'!

Not Bad, Not Bad at all!
Mr Brambles, on hearing my comments came dashing over to have a look and said that Snowflake was making vast improvements in her hole digging technique!

Yep! I agree, Not Bad at all!
Back in the car, it took OTL ages before he managed to get us all dry. The ferrets get a rub down with the towel first and tucked up in their cage all warm and dry. Then it was our turn, it's always good fun 'cos we get our face and nose done first, then our ears. After that it's the front legs, chest, tummy and back legs and finally our tail.

While OTL is doing all this we are jumping around 'cos when he gets to our tummy he tickles us so!

So, there is OTL, drying us with one paw while trying to hold us still with the other paw!

By the time it is all done we are dry but OTL is wetter than when he started 'cos as he is bending over his backside is sticking out from under the car tailgate, you can guess where the rain was landing!

Back home it was Lambs Heart and another rub down to get rid of the last bit of damp. OTL changed his trousers and we headed for our 'Snoozing Spot' while OTL gets on with playing about with bits of paper.

BTW, did you see Michael's blog regarding the Chinese New Year Parade? Super colourful pictures of the participants. OTL went down to see it many years ago and was seriously impressed with the colour of the dancers costumes and the animal costumes especially the Lion!

Lunch time came and we were down the Sea Wall again, Holly found a sniff of a rabbit and went tearing into the bushes to find it but in the end she got all tangled up in the nasty spiky brambles!

Can someone help me pleeeese?

After that she stayed away from the bushes and went of sniffing an old cloth the Fishermen had used to wipe there hands before eating their sandwiches 'cos they had been playing about with the worms!

Mmmmm, Worm and cheese sandwiches!
I could feel the first drops of rain landing on my back, so a quick word with OTL and we headed back to the car!

OTL! It's Raining!
On the way back we met up with Max and Oscar, Oscar poked his head over the side of the Sea Wall and enquired if we had 'Got Those Ferrets? Down There?' You see he is fascinated with them and can't make up his mind if he wants to sniff them or try nibbling their tails!

Can you imagine what Mr Brambles would have to say about that?

You got any ferrets down there?
Back home OTL started to play around with the video of the ferrets fun with the egg. He will try to upload it over night but knowing him and the Broadband it may take two days!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Doggy Scoff, so it must be Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Today The Missus was up early to get ready for the 'Master Class' up at the village hall, so we got woken up. She does make such a noise stomping up and down the stairs with her boxes of glue and bits of paper!

After we had taken her and her mountain of stuff up the hall we headed off to the beach for a game. Just for a change it wasn't raining and the sun even had a go at shining on us, but it missed and instead it landed on Sheerness!

Sun Shine on Sheerness!
That didn't stop us having fun running up and down the beach and the ferrets warmed up by digging a couple of holes, for a change!

Another fun start to the day!
Back home Old Two Legs cleaned out Snowy Heights while the ferrets ran around the office. Mr Brambles has got a favourite spot to the side of the camera equipment case where he has a rest and sometimes he even looks like he is going to sleep!

As soon as that happens OTL picks him up and puts him back on his bed where he crashes out!

Comfortable or Wot!
Miss Snowflake carries on dancing around and playing with OTL and the Cat Tease. She just loves chasing it around in circles and pouncing on it!

Then, the same as Mr Brambles, she decides it would be a good idea to have a snooze, so she gets behind all the cardboard boxes and starts to snooze.

Of course, OTL has to find her, pick her up and put her to bed as well, talk about a spoilt pair of ferrets!

Us? Well, when we inspected our food bowls what did we find that TM had left for us?

Horrible Rotten Doggy Scoff!

No cuddles for her tonight!

And talking of cuddles, it is a sign of affection when a woofer jumps up on your bed and gives you the Wet Nose and to show how much he cares, he places his paw on you forehead, or thereabouts, just to make sure you are safe!

As a sign of total love and caring it is a protective action to wrap yourself around your Two Legs Head and spend at least half an hour licking the forehead!

There are occasions when, through no fault of your own, when the woofer gets to suffer a bit of 'Gas' and lets one go whilst he is wrapped around your head. Ignoring it would be the polite thing to do 'cos a woofer can get embarrassed about a small thing like that and may even get upset if he thought you were offended!

Here Endeth the First Lesson!

Our afternoon walk was a bit windy but at least the sun was out, some of the time! As normal, being a Sunday, there was loads of people out with their woofers and little Two Legs in their prams!

Holly and I played 'Hide and Woof' which was great fun when Holly thought I was coming along and she jumped up and woofed, only to find it was some strange Two Legs who was scared out of his wits!

Woofin' Boo!
OTL was still playing with the Infrared Red Thingy and decided to have another go at the Isle of Sheppy as there wasn't a rainbow to play with!

Isle of Sheppy or Isle of Sheep as it was once known as!
Thank you to Mike who has come up with the answer to our Horrid Hill question and even added info on Deadmans Island!

I told you he would know that didn't I?

OK, we are off to pick up TM who should be ready to come home.

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Soaking Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here and welcome to the weekend!

Old Two Legs wasn't too happy when he got up today, first off it was raining and second, he had promised himself to do some more scrapping paint off the wall in the front porch, a job that he has hated ever since he started it, ages ago!

We didn't care, we can sleep while he works any day!

Down on the beach Snowflake and Mr Brambles got a stroke from a dog owner who was playing on the beach with his enormous Cross Labrador. Not that they wanted a stroke, they wanted to have a game on the sand. Mr Brambles asked if he could have a nibble at his hand but OTL said that would not be very polite and he should keep his teeth out of sight!

Lucky for him, Max and Oscar came along and they all decided to clear off and leave the beach to us!

That's it, Woof Off!
Almost immediately Mr Brambles went back to 'Trenching' as he calls it and sand and shells flew all over the place!

Mr Brambles, 'Trenching'!
Of course, as soon as Miss Snowflakes paws hit the ground she rushed towards OTL looking to be picked up and given a 'Warming Cuddle'!

Go On, Gissa Cuddle?
OTL said that she had to run back to the car so she could get some exercise. Snowflake said she would rather have a bash on his paddling machine! Can you just picture it? Miss Snowflake on a 'Rowing Machine'!

We don't think so!

When we got back OTL cooked up our chicken, just how we like it and served it up all hot and juicy.

Holly and I were 'Nose Down and Tail Up until it was finished!

Then, off to bed while OTL gets out his tools and goes back to scraping the walls!

Lunchtime we were awoken by the rain pounding on the window and the wind having a good blow. We couldn't put on our rain coats 'cos they got very wet this morning from running through the puddles so we had to sit in the car and wait until the storm passed.

It's Still Raining!
It wasn't too long before the storm passed and we were out chasing rabbits, well, we would have if they had come out of their warrens but I suppose it was just too wet for them!

OTL spotted a rainbow and just had to try to capture the Infrared part of the rainbow but it was too far away to really spot the colours. Maybe we will see the colours when the rainbow is closer, claws crossed!

Infrared Rainbow!
OTL really has got this Infrared bug, he saw that the moon was visible and took this shot. We didn't like to mention it but unless you knew it was the moon, it could have been a sea gull passing overhead!

Is it a Bird, Is it a Plane, No, it's The Moon!
Back home to a snooze before The Missus gets back from her 'Master Class', she's doing another one tomorrow, so we expect OTL will be back scraping the wall again, unless the sun comes out and that will be a good excuse to go for long walks!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

A Ferreting Friday!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wot a Grotty start to a Friday, it was raining all the way down to the beach and both Holly and I didn't think the idea of walking in the rain again the best idea Old Two Legs has come up with today!

When we arrived in the car park the rain had just stopped, so it was full charge down the path, or shall I call it a Bog!

There was water everywhere, mud sloshing about at the bottom of the puddles and just as much water and mud off the path as well as on the path!

Down on the beach Mr Brambles went hunting the Monsters who keep pinching his holes, he reckons that they live under the sea weed or lurk beneath the rocks!

Come out, I know your here somewhere!
Of course, the monsters stayed hidden and in the end Mr Brambles got fed up with hunting Monsters, so he went off to 'Hunt Some Dog'!

Mr Brambles 'Hunting Dog'!
Lunch time we had to do some guard duty as OTL had to visit someone and of course as a thank you he took us to the Riverside Park!

Sunshine and the Riverside Park! We were almost beside ourselves! Holly found a wreck of a boat and asked if we could take it home with us and mend it but OTL said there wasn't enough room in the garden for it!

Pleeeeese, Can We Take It Home With Us?
Next we came across a metal wreck and Holly said that wouldn't be as much fun as the wooden one!

No thanks, too heavy!
OTL has got a thing about this Infrared Photography and I must say that some of them are getting quite reasonable!

On a tripod with a little more attention to Hyperfocal focusing and it could be OK!
The power station across the river looked good, as far as a power station can look good this far away! And what a strange sky! The Missus doesn't like this one, so OTL put it in, just to give her something to moan about!

Well, OTL likes it!
The best one I think is the one where Holly and I are heading towards the end of the path which ends in a place called Horrid Hill! No, I don't know why nor do I know the story behind the name. I suppose we will have to ask Michael or Trevor who are into this sort of information!

Off to Horrid Hill!
When we got back home, we found the post man had been and delivered the Ferret Snuggle Bag Bed Thingy Wotsit that OTL had ordered for the ferrets!

It's like a hammock but with a pocket that they can crawl into and go to sleep. OTL had noticed that sometimes they crawl under a blanket and fall asleep all snug and warm.

So, from the same place he got the Ferret Bag, he ordered this Snuggle Bag Bed Thingy.

Snowflake just loves it and has been investigating it and trying it out for sleeping and also bouncing up and down on!

She has decided that it is 'The Dogs DooDars' and there is no way any dog is going to share it!

It is for her, and Mr Brambles, who hasn't seen it yet 'cos he hasn't woken up yet, he is still sleeping and dreaming of running. You can tell what he is dreaming about 'cos he is either sleeping on his back with all his legs doing the running action or he is eating 'cos we can see him moving his jaws!

This is Super, Thanks Daddy!
Now I know you are dying to see the Ferret and the Egg video but you are going to have to wait 'cos remember the video will take a day and a half to up load to YouTube, so be a good two legs and wait until we tell you it's read!

Bye bye for now, we're off to watch the Winter Olympics 'cos Snowflake wants to learn how to ride a Snow Board!

Yeah! Right!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles
