Sunshine and We're going to be Film Stars!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Wot a Super Day it has been! We were up early 'cos the sun shining through the curtains woke us up, so we woke Old Two Legs up to tell him and couldn't get back to sleep 'cos Holly was woofing at a passing cat!

That means the ferrets were woken up and they began to scratch at the cage door to be let out, so, everyone was up early!

Down on the beach Mr Brambles started off digging a big trench and even invited Holly and me to give him a hand! We're not that daft, he gets all possessive over his holes and when he gets fed up with us helping, we get a nip on the back legs!

So, he can dig it on his own!

Hey! Wanna Share the Hole?
Miss Snowflake was dancing around on the sea shells on the beach and she kept sliding down the beach with a sea shell on each paw!

Ooooooh! This is Fun!
On the Rock Wall Mr Brambles was watching the sea gulls and OTL decided to take a picture 'cos Mr B looked all ' Mean & Moody'!

Mean Looking Brambles!
Back home it was Doggy Scoff! Why does she do it to us? If we weren't such forgiving puppies The Missus might get Doggy Scoff in her breakfast bowl!

That would teach her!

Lunch time we were out again and the first thing Holly and I did was to chase a rabbit or two!

Huntin' Rabbit!
I spotted that the rabbit had disappeared down the hole but Holly kept snuffling around looking for it!
Holly in 'Snuffling Mode'!
We carried on along the Sea Wall. OTL was snapping away at the Black Headed Gulls, trying to get a shot in focus and not doing very well.

Almost but not quite!
A bit further along was some Geezer with a video camera who claimed that The Council had asked him to produce a video of the Grain Area and the people using it for recreation.

Then he asked OTL to go back, call us and when he shouted 'Action' OTL had to let us go, then he had to walk a few steps, stop, turn around and take a picture of the sea!

Action!
It was good fun and maybe The Council will be showing the video at all their Special Events or at Meetings!

You throw it and I'll hit it!
Then after that we had a game of 'Bat & Ball' on the beach which was great until Holly lost the ball!

So, tomorrow the men are arriving early to dig out the front garden and lay a new block paving drive.

Holly and I said we will be watching them all day from the front window, now, that will be fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

What A Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here.

Today has been one of those 'Yuk' days. We poked our heads out of the door this morning and it was raining.

Old Two Legs took us for a run but we didn't get to the beach 'cos we saw the rain coming down the river, so, get the ferrets out and let them run back to the car while we followed behind!

When we got back to the car we all had a good rub down with our Doggy Towel, ferrets first and then Holly and me last of all.

By the time we had all finished getting dry, the towel was soaking wet and was absolutely useless for OTL to use, so he had to drive back home with soggy trousers and wet hair!

There was so much rain that OTL didn't even take his camera out of the car!

We spent the morning in the caravan with OTL while he was fixing those little things that need attention after last years use. It was good fun woofing at the neighbours passing by  the front window and watching the woofers jump out of their skins when we barked at them!

Lunchtime it was still the same, rain and more rain! Down the Sea Wall we chased a rabbit, got soaked again and cut short the walk!

OTL was quite happy to get back home and this time he was wetter than before!

Mind you, we were just as wet and as we only had one towel left, Holly and I used it first to get dry and by the time we had finished with it, yes you guessed, it was too wet for OTL to use!

So, no photos, wet trousers and soaking hair, again!

OTL is not having a good day today!

Let's hope tomorrow is better 'cos if it is, the caravan has got to have a wash and go down for its yearly service.

We'll let you know what happens tomorrow!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Another Lazy Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you again!

We love Sundays, especially when the sun shines and the breezes are balmy!

Today there was no sun and the wind was a bit chilly! Not to worry though, 'cos we had fun on the beach with the ferrets!

First I decided to dig me a hole, a big hole, a hole you could drive Old Two Legs car in and it would disappear!

Holly said that I could get on with it on my own 'cos she was going to catch some Rays!

This is what a beach is for!
So, off I went, shovelling sand for all I was was worth when Miss Snowflake charged into the hole and chased me out!

It was a bit much! I mean, I had put a lot of work into that hole!

A Take Over!
To make it worse, Mr Brambles was standing behind me and asked if I wanted to 'Discuss' the hole!

I'm not that daft!

Shall we 'Discuss This?
That's the trouble with ferrets, you think it is just one and then another turns up behind you!

Sneaky or Wot!

Back home it was a big bowl of Ox Heart and a snooze in the office.

Lunchtime the sun was still hiding behind the clouds so there was no chance of Holly catching any more Rays to top up her tan!

What was worse was that the sea was still miles away, and I wanted to have a swim!

OK, who has got the water then?
I decided that OTL should know when the water would be back, so I sat down and asked him!

OK, When is it Coming Back?
Well, OTL said it would be a couple of hours before it was deep enough for swiming, so, I went off to find a stick that OTL could throw for us!

Holly decided that she wanted the stick and I decided that I wanted it..............

It's MINE!
.....................................that's when the fight started!

OTL called us off the beach to chase a rabbit, so we never decided who had ownership of the stick!

A bit further along the path I came across a sniff of ferret, it was Mr Brambles! It makes a change to catch up with his sniff 'cos normally we have difficulty in finding them after a few hours!

Hey! It's a Brambles Sniff!
Back home we had a game in the caravan while OTL was doing some work on the satellite dish, getting it ready for our holiday!

After that we headed back inside to watch the F1 racing, exciting or wot?

I'm not sure what OTL plans to do tomorrow but we may be back in the caravan for some more repairs!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Saturday Sunshine!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

What a super day today, we were up good and early 'cos The Missus is off to one of her 'Master Classes' and needs to get up there early to put all the tables out and get the hall looking like a class room!

We were off down the beach enjoying the sunshine! Miss Snowflake was playing with some dried sea weed and talking about how important camouflage was when hiding from Hawks and Eagles!

This is how it's done!
Mr Brambles said that he thinks he found a Monster hiding in the shells. He tried digging it out but as much as he dug in, the Monster dug further!

He even tried to make it come out by calling names but that didn't work either!

Come on Out, I Know Your In There!
Miss Snowflake then showed us how to make a 'Portable Camouflage' hide. She showed us how to roll up sea weed so that you can carry it on your back!

.....and you roll it up like this.
Holly and I went off sniffing and I started by saying that I could sniff camel! Holly said that it would be best if we didn't mention that 'cos Old Two Legs would have us off down to the vets double quick!

Ssssssh! Talk like that will get you some Worming Tablets!
Back home we had some chicken and biscuits and the ferrets got offered a raw chicken leg, chopped up in small bits, bone and all!

Well, they had a sniff and went back to their normal food and nibbles.

So much for a Ferret Treat!

Lunch time we were out again down on the beach but the tide hadn't come in yet, so I had to do without my swim!

There were some other doggies who's owner said to her mate, take them down for a swim in the water...................................Duh?  Can't she see it's mud?

Before we could say anything the dogs were paddling in the mud and getting really messy!

Getting Yucky!
Makes you wonder what some of these Two Legs use for eyes!

Holly and I had fun chasing each other around and sniffing the sniffs and as we got close to the car I called out to OTL,  'Hey! Look! Clean Paws!'

Look, Clean Paws!
Back home we watched OTL messing about with some rocks in the pond. Holly bet me a whole chew that he was going to fall in the pond, but OTL is too clever for that and he stayed dry!

Mind you, I'm still waiting for my chew from Holly!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Ferret Holes, Eileen's New Video and Scary Squirrels!

Hi Woofers!

What a day today! It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

What a super morning, the wind was blowing gently and the Sahara Sand had gone, so no camels!

We did look for them but we saw nothing! Which made us very glad, especially Holly Dog!

Is that a Labrador or another Camel?
Of course, Mr Brambles was winding Holly up, as he normally does!

Hey! Look! A Camel with a Waggly Tail!

Poor Miss Holly just couldn't live it down, so, she just kept her mouth closed and went off sniffing plants!

Talking of plants, we have got loads of these plants growing on the Sea Wall, it won't be long before the flowers bloom and there will be tons of insects feeding and of course, guess who will be there with his Macro Lens?

Looks just as good without the flowers!
Back home Miss Snowflake was playing a game with Old Two Legs, she was chasing about doing her War Dance and jumping onto Mr Brambles who just rolled onto his back and laughed! Then she chased OTL and kept tugging on his socks!

Then she disappeared, OTL couldn't see her anywhere, then he heard a scuffling sound above his head and guess who was poking over the top of the cage?

Can't Catch Me!
Holly and I settled down to a big bowl of Ox Heart, then we both had a snooze in OTL's office while he was playing around with the video for The Missus. You know, he does make such a noise when it doesn't go right!

Lunchtime we were off to The Forrest, great fun, the squirrels were out and dashing about all over the place. At first they stayed high in the tree and wouldn't come down to play!

No, I'm Staying Here, Thank You!
Then they would dash from one tree to the next, jumping from branch to branch at great speed!

Geeeeeeerrrrronimo!
Of course, Holly and I stayed on the ground and called them all the silly names we could think of, just to get them down to our level!

Soppy Squirrels! Bet you can't catch Us?
You know, if you keep on long enough, there is always one daft squirrel that will come down!

Trouble is, they go up faster than they come down!

A Squirrel doing a 'Fast Exit'!
There was one daft Squirrel who sat up in the tree and kept shouting at us to 'Clear Off'!

Go on, Clear Orf!
Well, we weren't having any of that! So, Holly and I stood by the bushes under the tree and pretended to find the squirrels hoard of nuts!

Then we pretended to eat them!

Yum Yum! These Nuts taste good!
Of course, dopey squirrel, down he came, chattering away at us and threatening to sort us out!

Then as he got close, Holly went charging at him! Problem was, she did her charge just a little too early, and the squirrel did a quick reverse and shot back up the tree!

Come Here Squirrel Nutting!
OTL and I had a good laugh about that!

So, now we know the squirrels are about, we plan to visit The Forrest a little more often!

Back home, OTL managed to get the video to upload and finally TM has stopped moaning at him to finish it off.

Have a look!

Another ay of Sahara Dust and Sand!

Hi Woofers!

Us Again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Well, we were looking forward to a quiet day today after yesterdays excitement! No stray Woofers or Ferrets please, just a day of good food, walkies and plenty of snoozing!

The misty stuff was still hanging about and the weather man says that the Sahara stuff is still descending on us and that we shouldn't go out and do heavy exercise, as if!

Down on the beach Holly and I sat and watched the ferrets charging about. I looked over towards Holly and thought I saw something sort of sandy looking. In a whisper I asked Holly if there was anything sitting down between us?

No, Nothing, I see Nothing Whatsoever At All Nuffin, Not Even a Camel!
I decided not to push the matter and went off to sniff some fishing nets that had been washed up during the night!

The ferrets were looking very secretive, scurrying about on the rocks, looking for something.

Honest, this is where I left it yesterday!
I was going to suggest it was a stack of Wacky Weed but Holly looked a bit worried that she would get questioned again and the thought of some worming tablets kept everyone quiet!

Back home we marched in expecting some Chicken or Ox Heart and what was in the bowl?

DOGGY SCOFF!

I reckon that Slinky finished off the last of our food and all that is left in the cupboard is Doggy Scoff!

We are going to have a chat with Old Two Legs tonight and make a formal protest about the stuff we are forced to eat, just because he found a lost dog!

We have been super lazy today and we have let OTL get on with his work 'cos with a bit of luck it will be warm and sunny at the weekend!

Fingers Crossed!

It shouldn't be too long before The Missus's video gets uploaded onto YouTube, so watch out, you may even see us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

More Flying Glue Pots!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Poor Old Two Legs, he still can't get used to the clocks falling forward and instead of getting up at six as normal, he was a whole half an hour late in waking up and almost an hour late in getting on the paddling machine!

The ferrets came over to say 'Good Morning' and after that they went back to bed, just because they could!

Down on the beach it was very quiet, in fact there wasn't even any wind blowing and it was still sort of misty looking.

We had seen on the TV that we were being covered in sandy dust from the Sahara Desert, so all of us were keeping a good look out for camels. OTL says that they are bigger than rabbits and look a bit soppy!

I was having a sniff and Holly reckons she could see a camel next to me but all I could see was some sand!

Hey! Who's your Soppy Mate?
That was worrying Holly, especially as she could see the camel and I couldn't. I reckon she has been sniffing too much sea weed!

Holly got off the beach and sat on the Sea Wall to watch what was going on and she said that the camel came and had a sniff of her!

As if!

OK, What's your name?
Even the ferrets thought that Holly was sniffing the Wacky Weed, especially when she started to talk to the camel that wasn't there!

Just Who is she talking too?
Mr Brambles was too busy sniffing the sea weed and trying to find the Wacky Weed that Holly had been sniffing!

Hey! Want some one want some Hash man?
In the end we all gave up and headed off to the Rabbit Ground 'cos at least we could see them Pesky Rabbits!

When we got back home we found that Auntie Chris had arrived with all here stuff and a big pot of glue. Holly said that it sniffed just like the camel on the beach but we told her not to mention that again or she would be in for a visit to the vets for a worming tablet!

We had out chicken breakfast and spent the morning snoozing and woofing at the birds and listening to the splash of the glue brush on the cards!

Lunchtime we all went out for a stroll along the Sea Front, that is Auntie Chris and The Missus as well as OTL, Holly and me!

When we got down to the car park there was a Jack Russell woofer wandering about looking all sort of lost, she had been out for a walk with a man we sometimes meet and he walks two miles each day! He said he didn't own the dog and didn't know where she comes from! We touched noses and had a sniff then off we went along the path. The doggy followed us!

She said she couldn't remember her name  but if someone called it out she would recognise it! Well we ran through a few but she said none of them sounded familiar!

We all had a wander around and sniffed for some rabbits but they were all back home having an afternoon snooze!

When we got back to the car the Jack Russell hung around us saying 'What shall I do Now?

As she didn't even have a collar on OTL couldn't even contact her owners! So, she got picked up and put in the back of the car with Auntie Chris, 'cos we sat in our normal place, on the centre arm rest!

Back home it was Auntie Chris who got the job of carrying 'Bouncer' as she had been named, into our house for a drink and a nibble of our food bowls!

Auntie Chris and Bouncer!
OTL was on the phone to the vets so he could take Bouncer down to be scanned for a chip. Off he went and we got half an hour peace from chasing the ball about.  You know, that Bouncer was pretty good at ball chasing and she kept on taking it back to OTL for him to throw again and again and again!

Even I was getting fed up!

Come On, THROW THE BALL!
The vets scanned her but no chip was found, can you imagine it, no collar, no chip! That doggy was heading for the dog pound and a sad time in the cage!

OTL said that we would put up some notices on lamp posts like we did for Miss Twinkle when she got lost. So he made up the poster and at the same time TM and Auntie Chris got onto Facebook for the Grain thingy page and put up a notice to say they had found Bouncer.

The vet had been in touch with the Council Dog Catcher so he could collect Bouncer tonight.

Things were happening fast and we only had and hour or so to find Bouncers owners!

OTL headed off to Grain with a load of notices to hang up all over the place. Then TM got a message to say that someone knew who the dog belonged too! Several phone calls later the owner was informed, the owners daughter-in-law had been contacted and was on her way around to our place to pick up Bouncer!

We found out that Bouncers name was really 'Slinky' and as she was being carried out to the car, OTL turned up just in time to get a good bye lick on the nose from Slinky before she headed back to her own home!

The Dog Catcher was informed that his services were not required, and, he even sounded pleased!

So, we get our ball back, we get rid of Slinky and she can go and eat out of her own bowl now and leave ours alone!

OTL was planning on keeping Slinky for three days so he could search for the owners. Gawd knows where he expected Slinky to sleep, I mean, there is barely enough room for OTL and TM to get into bed once Holly an I have found our sleeping places!

So, all's well that ends well and today it has ended well!

 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

A Fine Day For Swimming!

Hello Woofers!

Us here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It has been glorious today, the sun has shone all day and it has been super warm as well, in fact, it was so warm that I had to take a swim to cool off, but more about that later!

After yesterdays massaging by Old Two Legs my back end was back to normal this morning and as a 'Thank You' I jumped onto the bed this morning, while it was still dark, and gave OTL a good ear licking!

This messing about with the clocks really throws out your own body clock, I'm still awake when we go to bed and half asleep when we have to get up!

The ferrets are still trying to work out when to get up. Since the clocks got messed up they have been over sleeping and instead of running down the cage to say 'Good Morning' to OTL, they are still snoring their whiskers off and don't even wake up until OTL has finished his paddle on the rowing machine! Mind you, they were wide awake and rattling on the door to be let out when OTL turned up with their morning bowl of Lactose Free Milk!

Down on the beach Mr Brambles was having fun chasing Holly all over the place. Holly and I stopped for a 'Sniff' and without warning, up crept Mr Brambles singing, 'With a little sniff here, and a little sniff there, sniff sniff here, sniff sniff there, going to have a sniff sniff everywhere!'

Poor Holly just couldn't settle down to a sensible sniff!

Sniff sniff here, sniff sniff there.......!
After a while Miss Snowflake came over and said that she wanted to have a climb up the Rock Wall and Mr B was to leave us alone!

Come on, leave the Woofers alone.........!
We were pleased that she took him off out of our way, that way we could get a detailed sniff of the beach!

OK, now traverse over to the right and then off you go!
It wasn't too long before they got up to the top of the wall and Mr Brambles was talking about the view!

Just look at the view from here!
Back home there was a super big bowl full of Ox Heart for me and one for Holly, super scoff! We then spent the rest of the morning snoozing or woofing at anyone who dared to pass our front window!

Lunch time was great!

We started off having a ferret around looking for rabbits but there had been a couple of woofers charging about before we got there, so, no rabbits!

Rabbits have all gone!
So, off we went to have a look at the sea and it looked really strange 'cos there was some sort of Sea Misty stuff that made it difficult to tell what was sea and what was sky!

Well, it's out there some where!
Mind you, I wasn't going to be going too far off shore, so I found a little bit of wood that OTL tossed into the sea for me to chase!

It was super cool in there but Holly said that she was going to stay on shore and sniff the beach!

Now I'm Swimming!
Of course, every time I was in the water I tried to keep my tail dry by sticking it up in the air, just like a periscope!

Periscope Up!
That small bit of wood soon fell into small bits and OTL had to find a bigger stick! I had a great time diving in and fetching the stick back again! The stick was big enough not to fall apart as I chewed on it on the way back in!

Now I've got a BIG STICK!
I enjoyed a good run along the beach and pretty soon had dried off enough to go back to hunting some rabbit!

The only problem was, the rabbits were too far away and in their silly squeaky voices, they were calling us names!

Can't Catch Us! Can't Catch Us! Can't Catch Us! Can't Catch Us!
Holly and I are going to make a plan to teach those pesky rabbits a lesson!

Back to the drawing board!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles
